1 А ово су људи оне земље што пођоше из ропства од оних који бише пресељени, које пресели Навуходоносор цар вавилонски у Вавилон, и вратише се у Јерусалим и у Јудеју, сваки у свој град:
Now these are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away into exile unto Babylon, and who returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
2 Који дођоше са Зоровавељем, с Исусом, Немијом, Серајом, Релајом, Мардохејем, Вилсаном, Миспаром, Вигвајем, Реумом и Ваном; на број беше људи народа Израиљевог:
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua', Nehemiah, Serayah, Re'elayah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Misspar, Bigvai, Rechum, Ba'anah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was:
3 Синова Фаросових две хиљаде, сто и седамдесет и два;
The children of Par'osh, two thousand one hundred seventy and two.
4 Синова Сефатијиних триста и седамдесет и два;
The children of Shephatyah, three hundred seventy and two.
5 Синова Арахових седам стотина и седамдесет и пет;
The children of Arach, seven hundred seventy and five.
6 Синова Фат-Моавових, од синова Исусових и Јоавових, две хиљаде осам стотина и дванаест;
The children of Pachath-moab, of the children of Jeshua' and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
7 Синова Еламових хиљада и двеста и педесет и четири;
The children of 'Elath, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.
8 Синова Затујевих девет стотина и четрдесет и пет;
The children of Zatthu, nine hundred and forty and five.
9 Синова Захајевих седам стотина и шездесет;
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
10 Синова Ванијевих шест стотина и четрдесет и два;
The children of Bani, six hundred forty and two.
11 Синова Вивајевих шест стотина и двадесет и три;
The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and three.
12 Синова Азгадових хиљада и двеста и двадесет и два;
The children of 'Azgad, one thousand two hundred twenty and two.
13 Синова Адоникамових шест стотина и шездесет и шест;
The children of Adonilam, six hundred sixty and six.
14 Синова Вигвајевих две хиљаде педесет и шест;
The children of Bigvai, two thousand fifty and six.
15 Синова Адинових четири стотине и педесет и четири;
The children of 'Adin, four hundred fifty and four.
16 Синова Атирових од Језекије Двадесет и осам;
The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.
17 Синова Висајевих триста и двадесет и три;
The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and three.
18 Синова Јориних сто и дванаест;
The children of Jorah, one hundred and twelve.
19 Синова Асумових двеста и двадесет и три;
The children of Chashum, two hundred twenty and three.
20 Синова Гиварових двадесет и пет;
The children of Gibbar, ninety and five.
21 Синова витлејемских сто и двадесет и три;
The people of Beth-lechem, one hundred twenty and three.
22 Људи из Нетофата педесет и шест;
The men of Netophah, fifty and six.
23 Људи из Анатота Сто и двадесет и осам;
The men of 'Anathoth, one hundred twenty and eight.
24 Синова азмаветских четрдесет и два;
The people of 'Azmaveth, forty and two.
25 Синова киријат-јаримских, хефирских и виротских седам стотина и четрдесет и три;
The people of Kiryath-'arim, Kephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty and three.
26 Синова рамских и гавајских шест стотина и двадесет и један;
The people of Ramah and Geba', six hundred twenty and one.
27 Људи из Михмаса сто и двадесет и два;
The men of Michmass, one hundred twenty and two.
28 Људи из Ветиља и Гаја двеста и двадесет и три;
The men of Beth-el and 'Ai, two hundred twenty and three.
29 Синова невонских педесет и два;
The people of Nebo, fifty and two.
30 Синова Магвисових сто и педесет и шест;
The children of Magbish, one hundred fifty and six.
31 Синова Елама другог хиљада и двеста и педесет и четири;
The children of the other 'Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.
32 Синова Харимових триста и двадесет;
The children of Charim, three hundred and twenty.
33 Синова лодских, адидских и ононских седам стотина и двадесет и пет;
The people of Lod, Chadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and five.
34 Синова јерихонских триста и четрдесет и пет;
The people of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.
35 Синова сенајских три хиљаде и шест стотина и тридесет;
The people of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.
36 Свештеника: синова Једанијих од дома Исусовог девет стотина и седамдесет и три;
The priests were: The children of Jeda'yah, of the house of Jeshua', nine hundred seventy and three.
37 Синова Имирових хиљада и педесет и два;
The children of Immer, one thousand fifty and two.
38 Синова Пасхорових хиљада и двеста и четрдесет и седам;
The children of Pashchur, one thousand two hundred forty and seven.
39 Синова Харимових хиљада и седамнаест;
The children of Charim, one thousand and seventeen.
40 Левита: синова Исусових и Кадмилових између синова Одујиних седамдесет и четири;
The Levites were: The children of Jeshua, and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodavyah, seventy and four.
41 Певача: синова Асафових сто и двадесет и осам;
The singers were: The children of Assaph, one hundred twenty and eight.
42 Синова вратарских: синова Салумових, синова Атирових, синова Талмонових, синова Акувових, синова Атитиних, синова Совајевих, свега сто и тридесет и девет;
The children of the gate-keepers were: The children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of 'Akkub, the children of Chatita, the children of Shobai, in all one hundred thirty and nine.
43 Нетинеја: синова Сишиних, синова Асуфиних, синова Таваотових,
The temple-servants were: The children of Zicha, the children of Chassupha, the children of Tabba'oth.
44 Синова Киросових, синова Сијајиних, синова Фадонових,
The children of Keross, the children of Si'aha, the children of Padon.
45 Синова Леваниних, синова Агавиних, синова Акувових,
The children of Lebanah, the children of Chagabah, the children of 'Akkub.
46 Синова Агавових, синова Самлајевих, синова Ананових,
The children of Chagab, the children of Shalmai, the children of Chanan.
47 Синова Гидилових, синова Гарових, синова Реајиних,
The children of Giddel, the children of Gachar, the children of Reayah.
48 Синова Ресинових, синова Некодиних, синова Газамових,
The children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam.
49 Синова Узиних, синова Фасејиних, синова Висајевих,
The children of 'Uzza, the children of Paseach, the children of Bessai,
50 Синова Асениних, синова Меунимових, синова Нефусимових,
The children of Assnah, the children of Me'unim, the children of Nephussim,
51 Синова Ваквукових, синова Акуфиних, синова Арурових,
The children of Bakbuk, the children of Chakupha, the children of Charchur,
52 Синова Васлитових, синова Меидиних, синова Арсиних,
The children of Bazluth, the children of Mechida, the children of Charsha,
53 Синова Варкосових, синова Сисариних, синова Таминих,
The children of Barkoss, the children of Sissera, the children of Thamach,
54 Синова Несијиних, синова Атифиних,
The children of Neziach, the children of Chatipha.
55 Синова слуга Соломунових: синова Сотајевих, синова Соферетових, синова Феридиних,
The children of Solomon's servants were: The children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda.
56 Синова Јалиних, синова Дарконових, синова Гидилових,
The children of Ja'alah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel.
57 Синова Сефатијиних, синова Атилових, синова Фохерета од Севојима, синова Амонових,
The children of Shephatyah, the children of Chattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebayim, the children of Ami.
58 Свега Нетинеја и синова слуга Соломунових триста и деведесет и два.
All the temple-servants, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred and ninety and two.
59 И ови пођоше из Тел-Мелеха и Тел-Арисе, Херув, Адан и Имир, али не могоше показати отачки дом свој и семе своје, еда ли су од Израиља,
And these are those who went up from Thel-melach, Thelcharsha, Kerub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not tell their family division, and their descent, whether they were of Israel:
60 И синови Делајини, синови Товијини, синови Некодини, њих шест стотина и педесет и два;
The children of Delayah the children of Tobiyah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
61 И од синова свештеничких: синови Авајини, синови Акосови, синови Варзелаја, који се ожени једном између кћери Варзелаја Галађанина, те се прозва њиховим именом.
And of the children of the priests: The children of Chabayah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who had taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gil'adite, and was called after their name.
62 Они тражише по књигама да би показали род свој, али се не нађоше, зато бише одлучени од свештенства.
These sought for their family-registers, but they were not found: wherefore they were excluded, as unfit, from the priesthood.
63 И запрети им Тирсата да не једу од светиње над светињама докле не настане свештеник с Уримом и Тумимом.
And the Thirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with the Urim and Thummim.
64 Свега збора скупа беше четрдесет и две хиљаде и три стотине и шездесет,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty.
65 Осим слуга њихових и слушкиња њихових, којих беше седам хиљада и три стотине и тридесет и седам, а међу њима беше двеста певача и певачица.
Besides their men-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: they had also two hundred singing men and singing women.
66 Имаху седам стотина и тридесет шест коња, двеста и четрдесет и пет масака,
Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
67 Четири стотине и тридесет и пет камила, шест хиљада и седам стотина и двадесет магараца.
Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 И неки између домова отачких дошавши к дому Господњем и Јерусалиму приложише драговољно да се гради дом Божји на свом месту.
And some of the chiefs of the divisions, when they came to the house of the Lord which is at Jerusalem, offered freewill gifts for the house of God to set it up in its place:
69 По могућству свом дадоше у ризницу за посао: злата шездесет и једну хиљаду драма, сребра пет хиљада мина, и хаљина свештеничких стотину.
After their ability they gave unto the treasure for the work sixty and one thousand drachms of gold, and five thousand manehs of sliver, and one hundred coats for the priests.
70 И тако се населише свештеници и Левити и неки из народа и певачи и вратари и Нетинеји у градовима својим, и сав Израиљ у својим градовима.
And the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the gate-keepers, and the temple-servants, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
