1 Књига Самуилова 12
1 Тада рече Самуило свему Израиљу: Ето, послушао сам глас ваш у свему што ми рекосте, и поставих цара над вама.

2 И сада ето, цар иде пред вама, а ја сам остарео и оседео; и синови моји ето су међу вама; и ја сам ишао пред вама од младости своје до данас.

3 Ево ме, одговорите ми пред Господом и пред помазаником Његовим. Коме сам узео вола или коме сам узео магарца? Коме сам учинио насиље? Коме сам учинио криво? Или из чије сам руке узео поклон, да бих стискао очи њега ради? Па ћу вам вратити.

4 А они рекоше: Ниси нам учинио силе нити си коме учинио криво, нити си узео шта из чије руке.

5 Још им рече: Сведок је Господ на вас, и сведок је помазаник Његов данас, да нисте нашли ништа у мојим рукама. и рекоше: Сведок је.

6 Тада рече Самуило народу: Господ је који је поставио Мојсија и Арона, и који је извео оце ваше из земље мисирске.

7 Сада, дакле, станите да се прем с вама пред Господом за сва добра што је чинио Господ вама и вашим оцима.

8 Пошто дође Јаков у Мисир, викаше оци ваши ка Господу, и Господ посла Мојсија и Арона, који изведоше оце ваше из Мисира и населише их на овом месту.

9 Али заборавише Господа Бога свог, те их даде у руке Сисари, војводи асорском, и у руке Филистејима, и у руке цару моавском, који војеваше на њих.
and to forget [obj] LORD God their and to sell [obj] them in/on/with hand: power Sisera ruler army Hazor and in/on/with hand: power Philistine and in/on/with hand: power king Moab and to fight in/on/with them
10 Али викаше ка Господу и рекоше: Сагрешисмо што остависмо Господа и служисмо Валима и Астаротама; али сада избави нас из руку непријатеља наших, па ћемо ти служити.
and to cry out to(wards) LORD (and to say *Q(K)*) to sin for to leave: forsake [obj] LORD and to serve [obj] [the] Baal and [obj] [the] Ashtaroth and now to rescue us from hand: power enemy our and to serve you
11 И Господ посла Јеровала и Ведана и Јефтаја и Самуила, и оте вас из руку непријатеља ваших унаоколо, те живесте без страха.
and to send: depart LORD [obj] Jerubbaal and [obj] Barak and [obj] Jephthah and [obj] Samuel and to rescue [obj] you from hand: power enemy your from around: side and to dwell security
12 Али кад видесте Наса, цара амонског, где дође на вас, рекосте ми: Не, него цар нека царује над нама, премда Господ Бог ваш беше Цар ваш.

13 Сада дакле, ето цара ког изабрасте, ког искасте; ево Господ је поставио цара над вама.

14 Ако се узбојите Господа, и Њему узаслужите, и узаслушате глас Његов и не успротивите се заповести Господњој, тада ћете и ви и цар ваш који царује над вама ићи за Господом Богом својим.

15 Ако ли не узаслушате глас Господњи, него се успротивите заповести Господњој, тада ће бити рука Господња против вас као што је била против отаца ваших.
and if not to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to rebel [obj] lip: word LORD and to be hand: power LORD in/on/with you and in/on/with father your
16 Али станите сада још, и видите ову ствар велику коју ће учинити Господ пред вашим очима.

17 Није ли данас жетва пшенична? Ја ћу призвати Господа, и спустиће громове и дажд, да разумете и видите колико је зло што учинисте пред Господом искавши себи цара.

18 Тада Самуило завапи ка Господу, и Господ спусти громове и дажд у тај дан; и сав се народ побоја врло Господа и Самуила.
and to call: call to Samuel to(wards) LORD and to give: give LORD voice: thunder and rain in/on/with day [the] he/she/it and to fear: revere all [the] people much [obj] LORD and [obj] Samuel
19 И рече сав народ Самуилу: Моли се за слуге своје Господу Богу свом да не помремо; јер додасмо к свим гресима својим зло иштући себи цара.
and to say all [the] people to(wards) Samuel to pray about/through/for servant/slave your to(wards) LORD God your and not to die for to add upon all sin our distress: evil to/for to ask to/for us king
20 Тад рече Самуило народу: Не бојте се, ви сте учинили све ово зло; али не одступајте од Господа, него служите Господу свим срцем својим.
and to say Samuel to(wards) [the] people not to fear you(m. p.) to make: do [obj] all [the] distress: evil [the] this surely not to turn aside: turn aside from after LORD and to serve [obj] LORD in/on/with all heart your
21 Не одступајте; јер бисте пошли за ништавим стварима, које не помажу, нити избављају, јер су ништаве.
and not to turn aside: turn aside for after [the] formlessness which not to gain and not to rescue for formlessness they(masc.)
22 Јер Господ неће оставити народ свој ради великог имена свог; јер Господу би воља да вас учини својим народом.
for not to leave LORD [obj] people his in/on/with for the sake of name his [the] great: large for be willing LORD to/for to make [obj] you to/for him to/for people
23 А мени не дао Бог да згрешим Господу и престанем молити се за вас; него ћу вас упућивати на пут добар и прав.
also I forbid to/for me from to sin to/for LORD from to cease to/for to pray about/through/for you and to show [obj] you in/on/with way: conduct [the] pleasant and [the] upright
24 Само се Бојте Господа и служите му истинито, свим срцем својим, јер видите, какве је велике ствари учинио за вас.
surely to fear: revere [obj] LORD and to serve [obj] him in/on/with truth: faithful in/on/with all heart your for to see: examine [obj] which to magnify with you
25 Ако ли зло ушчините, пропашћете и ви и цар ваш.
