1 А после тога поби Давид Филистеје и покори их, и узе Гат и села његова из руку филистејских.
And it was after thus and he struck down David [the] Philistines and he subdued them and he took Gath and daughters its from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
2 Поби и Моавце, и посташе Моавци слуге Давидове и плаћаше му данак.
And he struck down Moab and they became Moab subjects of David bearers of tribute.
3 Разби Давид и Адад-Езера цара совског у Емату изашав да рашири власт своју до реке Ефрата.
And he struck down David Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah Hamath towards when went he to establish monument his at [the] river of Euphrates.
4 И узе му Давид хиљаду кола и седам хиљада коњика и двадесет хиљада пешака, и подреза Давид жиле свим коњима колским, само остави за сто кола.
And he captured David from him one thousand chariot[s] and seven thousand horsemen and twenty thousand man on foot and he hamstrung David all the chariotry and he left of it one hundred chariot[s].
5 А беху дошли Сирци из Дамаска у помоћ Адад-Езеру цару совском, и Давид поби двадесет и две хиљаде Сираца.
And it came Aram Damascus to help Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah and he struck down David in Aram twenty and two thousand man.
6 И намести Давид војску у Сирији што је под Дамаском, и Сирци посташе слуге Давидове плаћајући му данак. И Господ чуваше Давида куда год иђаше.
And he put David in Aram Damascus and it became Aram of David subjects bearers of tribute and he gave victory Yahweh to David in every where he went.
7 И Давид узе златне штитове које имаху слуге Адад-Езерове, и донесе их у Јерусалим.
And he took David [the] shields of gold which they were on [the] servants of Hadadezer and he brought them Jerusalem.
8 И из Тивата и из Хуна градова Адад-Езерових однесе Давид силну бронзу, од које Соломун начини море бронзано и ступове и посуђе бронзано.
And from Tibhath and from Kun [the] cities of Hadadezer he took David bronze much very with it - he made Solomon [the] sea of bronze and the pillars and [the] articles of bronze.
9 А кад ћу Тоја цар ематски да је Давид побио сву војску Адад-Езера, цара совског,
And he heard Tou [the] king of Hamath that he had struck down David all [the] army of Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah.
10 Посла Адорама, сина свог к цару Давиду да га поздрави и да му честита што је војевао на Адад-Езера и убио га, јер Тоја имаше рат са Адад-Езером и свакојаких заклада златних и сребрних и бронзаних.
And he sent Hadoram son his to the king David (to ask *Q(k)*) of him to welfare and to bless him on that he had fought against Hadadezer and he had defeated him for man of wars of Tou he was Hadadezer and all articles of gold and silver and bronze.
11 Па и то цар Давид посвети са сребром и златом што беше узео од свих народа, од Едомаца и од Моаваца и од синова Амонових и од Филистеја и од Амалика.
Also them he consecrated the king David to Yahweh with the silver and the gold which he had taken away from all the nations from Edom and from Moab and from [the] people of Ammon and from [the] Philistines and from Amalek.
12 И Ависај син Серујин поби осамнаест хиљада Идумејаца у сланој долини.
And Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah he struck down Edom in [the] Valley of Salt eight-teen thousand.
13 И намести војску по Идумеји, и сви Идумејци посташе слуге Давидове. И Господ чуваше Давида куда год иђаше.
And he put in Edom garrisons and they became all Edom subjects of David and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
14 Тако царова Давид над свим Израиљем судећи и дајући правду свему народу свом.
And he reigned David over all Israel and he was doing justice and righteousness for all people his.
15 И Јоав, син Серујин беше над војском, а Јосафат син Ахилудов паметар,
And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah [was] over the army and Jehoshaphat [the] son of Ahilud [was the] recorder.
16 А Садок син Ахитовов и Авимелех син Авијатаров свештеници, а Суса писар,
And Zadok [the] son of Ahitub and Abimelech [the] son of Abiathar [were] priests and Shavsha [was the] scribe.
17 А Венаја, син Јодајев беше над Херетејима и Фелетејима, а синови Давидови први до цара.
And Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] over the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and [the] sons of David [were] the first to [the] side of the king.
