7 А синови Јаванови: Елиса и Тарсис, Китим и Доданим,
The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 А синови Хамови: Хус и Мисраим, Фут и Ханан.
The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 А синови Хусови: Сава и Авила и Савата и Регма и Саватака. А синови Регмини: Сава и Дедан.
The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raama, Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
10 И Хус роди Неврода. Он први би силан на земљи.
Cush became the father of Nimrod. He began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 А Мисраим роди Лудеје и Анамеје и Леавеје и Нафтухеје,
Mizraim became the father of Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,
12 И Патросеје и Хаслухеје, од којих изиђоше Филистеји и Кафтореји.
Pathrusim, Casluhim (where the Philistines came from), and Caphtorim.
13 А Ханан роди Сидона првенца свог, и Хета,
Canaan became the father of Sidon his firstborn, Heth,
14 И Јевусеје и Амореје и Гергесеје,
the Jebusite, the Amorite, the Girgashite,
15 И Јевеје и Арукеје и Асенеје,
the Hivite, the Arkite, the Sinite,
16 И Арвадеје и Самареје и Аматеје.
the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Синови Симови: Елам и Асур и Арфаксад и Луд и Арам и Уз и Ул и Гетер и Месех.
The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.
18 А Арфаксад роди Салу, а Сала роди Евера.
Arpachshad became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber.
19 А Еверу се родише два сина; једном беше име Фалек, јер се у његово време раздели земља; а име брату његовом Јектан.
To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
20 А Јектан роди Алмодада и Салефа и Асармота и Јараха,
Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
21 И Адорама и Узала и Диклу,
Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
22 И Евала и Авимаила и Саву,
Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,
23 И Офира и Евилу и Јовава: ти сви беху синови Јектанови.
Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 Сим, Арфаксад, Сала,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 Евер, Фалет, Рагав,
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Серух, Нахор, Тара,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Аврам, то је Авраам.
Abram (also called Abraham).
28 Синови Аврамови: Исак и Исмаило.
The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
29 Ово је племе њихово: првенац Исмаилов Навајот, па Кидар и Авдеило и Мивсам.
These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
30 Мисма и Дума, Маса, Адад и Тема,
Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,
31 Јетур, Нафис и Кедма; то су синови Исмаилови.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 А синови Хетуре, иноче Аврамове: она роди Земрана и Јоксана и Мадана и Мадијана и Јесвока и Суја. А синови Јоксанови: Сава и Дедан.
The sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bore Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
33 А синови Мадијанови: Гефа и Ефер и Енох и Авида и Елдага. Ти сви беху синови Хетурини.
The sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34 Тако Аврам роди Исака; а синови Исакови беху Исав и Израиљ.
Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
35 Синови Исавови: Елифас, Рагуило и Јеус и Јеглом и Кореј.
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
36 Синови Елифасови: Теман и Омар, Софар и Готом, Кенез и Тамна и Амалик.
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.
37 Синови Рагуилови: Нахат, Зара и Сома и Моза.
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 А синови Сирови: Лотан и Совал и Севегон и Ана и Дисон и Есер и Дисан.
The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.
39 А синови Лотанови: Хорије и Емам; а сестра Лотанова Тамна.
The sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam; and Timna was Lotan’s sister.
40 Синови Совалови: Елан и Манахат и Евал, Сефија и Онам. А синови Севегонови: Аије и Ана.
The sons of Shobal: Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.
41 Синови Анини: Дисон, и синови Дисонови Амрам и Асван и Итран и Харан.
The son of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Синови Есерови: Валан и Заван и Јакан. Синови Дисанови: Уз и Аран.
The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
43 А ово су цареви који цароваше у земљи едомској пре него се зацари цар над синовима Израиљевим: Валак син Веоров, а граду му беше име Денава.
Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before any king reigned over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 А кад умре Валак, зацари се на његово место Јовав, син Зарин од Восоре.
Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.
45 А кад умре Јовав, зацари се на његово место Асом од земље темановске.
Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
46 А кад умре Асом, зацари се на његово место Адад син Варадов, који исече Мадијане у пољу моавском; а граду му беше име Гетем.
Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.
47 А кад умре Адад, зацари се на његово место Самада из Масекаса.
Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
48 А кад умре Самада, зацари се на његово место Саул из Ровота на реци.
Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his place.
49 А кад умре Саул, зацари се на његово место Валенон, син Аховоров.
Shaul died, and Baal Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.
50 А кад умре Валенон, зацари се на његово место Адад; а град му се зваше Фогор, а жени му беше име Метевеила кћи Матраиде, кћери Мезовове.
Baal Hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pai. His wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51 А кад умре Адад, насташе кнезови у едомској: кнез Тамна, кнез Алва, кнез Јетет,
Then Hadad died. The chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
52 Кнез Оливема, кнез Ила, кнез Финон,
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53 Кнез Кенез, кнез Теман, кнез Мивсар,
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
54 Кнез Магедило, кнез Ирам. То беху кнезови едомски.
chief Magdiel, and chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
