1 Pjevajte Gospodu pjesmu novu, pjevaj Gospodu, sva zemljo!
Sing to Jehovah a new song. Sing to Jehovah, all the earth.
2 Pjevajte Gospodu, blagosiljajte ime njegovo, javljajte od dana na dan spasenje njegovo.
Sing to Jehovah. Bless his name. Proclaim his salvation from day to day.
3 Kazujte po narodima slavu njegovu, po svijem plemenima èudesa njegova.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.
4 Jer je velik Gospod i valja ga hvaliti: strašniji je od svijeh bogova.
For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.
5 Jer su svi bogovi u naroda ništa: a Gospod je nebesa stvorio.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Jehovah made the heavens.
6 Slava je i velièanstvo pred licem njegovijem, (sila) i krasota u svetinji njegovoj.
Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Dajte Gospodu, plemena narodna, dajte Gospodu slavu i èast.
Ascribe to Jehovah, you families of nations, ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength.
8 Dajte Gospodu slavu prema imenu njegovu. Nosite dare i idite u dvore njegove.
Ascribe to Jehovah the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 Poklonite se Gospodu u svetoj krasoti. Strepi pred njim, sva zemljo!
Worship Jehovah in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Recite narodima: Gospod caruje; zato je vasiljena tvrda i neæe se pomjestiti; on æe suditi narodima pravo.
Say among the nations, "Jehovah reigns." The world is also established. It can't be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.
11 Nek se vesele nebesa, i zemlja se raduje; nek pljeska more i što je u njemu;
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness.
12 Neka skaèe polje i sve što je na njemu; tada nek se raduju sva drveta šumska
Let the field and all that is in it exult. Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joy
13 Pred licem Gospodnjim; jer ide, jer ide da sudi zemlji. Sudiæe vasiljenoj po pravdi, i narodima po istini svojoj.
before Jehovah; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.
