Psalmi 92
1 Lijepo je hvaliti Gospoda, i pjevati imenu tvojemu, višnji,
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 Javljati jutrom milost tvoju, i istinu tvoju noæu,
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 Uz deset žica i uz psaltir, i uz jasne gusle!
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Jer si me razveselio, Gospode, djelima svojim, s djela ruku tvojih radujem se.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Kako su velika djela tvoja, Gospode! Veoma su duboke pomisli tvoje.
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Bezumnik ne zna, i neznalica ne razumije toga.
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 Kad bezbožnici nièu kao trava i cvjetaju svi koji èine bezakonje, to biva zato da bi se istrijebili dovijeka.
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 A ti si, Gospode, visok uvijek.
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Jer evo neprijatelji tvoji, Gospode, jer evo neprijatelji tvoji ginu, i rasipaju se svi koji èine bezakonje;
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 A moj rog ti uzvišuješ kao rog u jednoroga, ja sam pomazan novijem uljem.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 I oko moje vidi neprijatelje moje, i o bezakonicima, koji ustaju na mene, slušaju uši moje.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 Pravednik se zeleni kao finik, kao kedar na Livanu uzvišuje se.
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Koji su zasaðeni u domu Gospodnjem, zelene se u dvorovima Boga našega;
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Rodni su i u starosti, jedri i zeleni,
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 Javljajuæi da je pravedan Gospod, braniè moj, i da nema u njemu nepravde.
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
