Psalmi 75

1 Hvalimo te, Bože, hvalimo; blizu je ime tvoje. Za tebe kazuju èudesa tvoja.

“To the chief musician, Al-tashcheth, a psalm or song of Asaph.” We give thanks unto thee, O God, we give thanks, and nigh is thy name: men relate thy wondrous deeds.

2 “Kad vidim da je vrijeme, sudiæu pravo.

“For I will take up a fixed time when I will judge uprightly.

3 Njiha se zemlja sa svijema koji žive na njoj, ja utvrðujem stupove njezine.”

The earth and all her inhabitants are melting away: I myself establish firmly her pillars.” (Selah)

4 Kažem hvališama: ne hvalite se, i bezakonicima: ne dižite roga.

I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn.

5 Ne dižite u vis roga svojega, ne govorite tvrdoglavo.

Lift not up on high your horn, speak not with a stiffly erect neck.

6 Jer uzvišivanje ne dolazi ni od istoka ni od zapada ni od pustinje;

For neither from the rising [of the sun], nor from [his] setting, nor from the wilderness of mountains [cometh this];

7 Nego je Bog sudija, jednoga ponižuje a drugoga uzvišuje.

But God is the judge: he lowereth one, and lifteth up another,

8 Jer je èaša u ruci Gospodu, vino vri, natoèio je punu, i razdaje iz nje. I talog æe njezin progutati, ispiæe svi bezbožnici na zemlji.

For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foameth, it is full of mixture: and he poureth out of the same; but its lees they drain, they drink—all the wicked of the earth.

9 A ja æu kazivati dovijeka, pjevaæu Bogu Jakovljevu.

But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 “Sve æu rogove bezbožnicima polomiti, a rogovi pravednikovi uzvisiæe se.”

And all the horns of the wicked will I hew off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
