< Psalmi 72 >

1 Bože, daj caru sud svoj, i pravdu svoju sinu carevu:
God, give your mishpat ·justice· to the King Messiah [Anointed one]; and your righteousness to the Son of David [Beloved] the King.
2 On æe suditi narodu tvojemu po pravdi, i nevoljnicima tvojim po pravici.
He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor afflicted ones with right judgments.
3 Rodiæe narodu gore mirom, i humovi pravdom.
The mountains shall bring peace and prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.
4 On æe suditi nevoljnima u narodu, pomoæi æe sinovima ništega, i nasilnika æe oboriti,
He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.
5 Bojaæe se tebe dok je sunca i mjeseca, od koljena do koljena.
They shall fear you, the King Messiah [Anointed one], while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
6 Siæi æe kao dažd na pokošenu livadu, kao kaplje koje porašaju zemlju.
He will come down like rain on the cut grass of the earth, as showers that water the earth.
7 Procvjetaæe u dane njegove pravednik i svuda mir dokle teèe mjeseca.
In his days, the upright shall be multiplied, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.
8 Vladaæe od mora do mora, i od rijeke do krajeva zemaljskih.
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.
9 Pred njim æe popadati divljaci, i neprijatelji njegovi prah æe lizati.
Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.
10 Carevi Tarsiski i ostrvljani donijeæe dare, carevi Šavski i Savski daæe danak.
The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 Klanjaæe mu se svi carevi, svi narodi biæe mu pokorni.
Yes, all kings shall hawa ·bow low, prostrate· before him. All nations shall serve him.
12 Jer æe izbaviti ubogoga koji cvili i nevoljnoga koji nema pomoænika.
For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.
13 Biæe milostiv ništemu i ubogom, i duše æe jadnima spasti.
He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.
14 Od prijevare i nasilja iskupiæe duše njihove, i skupa æe biti krv njihova pred oèima njegovima.
He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.
15 Oni æe dobro živjeti, i donijeæe mu zlato iz Šave; i svagda æe se moliti za njega, i svaki æe ga dan blagosiljati.
They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long.
16 Biæe pšenice na zemlji izobila; po vrhovima gorskim lelijaæe se klasje njezino kao Livanska šuma, i po gradovima cvjetaæe ljudi kao trava na zemlji.
There shall be an abundance of corn throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field outside the city.
17 Ime æe njegovo biti uvijek; dokle teèe sunca, ime æe njegovo rasti. Blagosloviæe se u njemu, svi æe ga narodi zvati blaženim.
His name endures forever. His name existed before the creation of the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.
18 Blagosloven Gospod Bog, Bog Izrailjev, koji jedan èini èudesa!
Praise be to Adonai God, the God of Israel [God prevails], who alone does marvelous deeds.
19 I blagosloveno slavno ime njegovo uvijek! slave njegove napuniæe se sva zemlja. Amin i amin.
Blessed be his kavod ·weighty glorious· name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his kavod ·weighty glory·! Amen v'Amen ·So be it and So be it·.
20 Svršiše se molitve Davida, sina Jesejeva.
This ends the prayers by David [Beloved], the son of Jesse [My husband].
