Psalmi 70

1 Bože, pohitaj da me izbaviš, Gospode, da mi pomožeš!

For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me. Draw near, O God, to my help.

2 Nek se postide i posrame koji traže dušu moju! Nek ustupe natrag, i osramote se koji mi zlo žele!

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.

3 Sa stidom nek se vrate natrag koji mi govore: ha! ha!

Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.

4 Nek se tješe i vesele tobom koji traže tebe, i koji ljube spasenje tvoje, neka jednako govore: velik je Bog!

Let all that seek you exult and be glad in you: and let those that love your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

5 A ja sam ništ i ubog, Bože, pohitaj k meni! ti si pomoæ moja i izbavitelj moj, Gospode, ne èasi!

But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: you are my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.
