Psalmi 6

1 Gospode! nemoj me pokarati u jarosti svojoj, niti me u gnjevu svojem nakazati.

“For the leader of the music; to be accompanied with stringed instruments; to the octave. A psalm of David.” O LORD! rebuke me not in thine anger; Chasten me not in thy hot displeasure!

2 Smiluj se na me, Gospode, jer sam iznemogao; iscijeli me, jer su kosti moje ustreptale,

Have pity upon me, O LORD! for I am weak; Heal me, O LORD! for my bones tremble!

3 I duša se moja vrlo uzdrhtala. A ti, Gospode, dokle æeš?

My soul, also, is sore troubled; And thou, O LORD! how long—?

4 Obrati se, Gospode, izbavi dušu moju, pomozi mi radi milosti svoje.

Return, O LORD! and deliver me; Oh, save me according to thy mercy!

5 Jer mrtvi ne spominju tebe; u grobu ko æe te slaviti? (Sheol h7585)

For in death no praise is given to thee; In the underworld who can give thee thanks? (Sheol h7585)

6 Iznemogoh uzdišuæi; svaku noæ kvasim odar svoj, suzama svojim natapam postelju svoju.

I am weary with my groaning; All the night I make my bed to swim, And drench my couch with my tears.

7 Usahnu od žalosti oko moje, postara se od množine neprijatelja mojih.

Mine eye is wasted with grief; It hath become old because of all my enemies.

8 Idite od mene svi koji èinite bezakonje, jer Gospod èu plaè moj.

Depart from me, all ye that do iniquity; For the LORD heareth the voice of my weeping.

9 Èu Gospod molbu moju, Gospod molitvu moju primi.

The LORD heareth my supplication; The LORD accepteth my prayer.

10 Nek se postide i prepadnu svi neprijatelji moji, neka se povrate i postide odmah.

All my enemies shall be ashamed and utterly confounded; They shall be turned back, and put to shame suddenly.
