Psalmi 48

1 Velik je Gospod i slavan veoma u gradu Boga našega, na svetoj gori svojoj.

A song a psalm of [the] sons of Korah. [is] great Yahweh and [is] to be praised exceedingly in [the] city of God our [the] mountain of holiness his.

2 Prekrasna je visina, utjeha svoj zemlji gora Sion, na sjevernoj strani njezinoj grad cara velikoga.

[it is] beautiful of Height [the] joy of all the earth [the] mountain of Zion [the] remotest parts of Zaphon [the] town of [the] king great.

3 Bog u dvorima njegovijem zna se da je braniè.

God [is] in fortresses its he has made himself known to a refuge.

4 Jer, gle, carevi se zemaljski sabraše, ali proðoše svi.

5 Vidješe i zaèudiše se, prepadoše se i pobjegoše.

6 Trepet obuze ih ondje, muèiše se kao porodilja.

7 Vjetrom istoènim razbio si korablje Tarsiske.

With a wind of [the] east you shatter ships of Tarshish.

8 Što slušamo to i vidimo u gradu Gospoda nad vojskama, u gradu Boga našega. Bog ga utvrdi dovijeka.

Just as we have heard - so we have seen in [the] city of Yahweh of hosts in [the] city of God our God he will establish it until perpetuity (Selah)

9 Kazujemo, Bože, milost tvoju usred crkve tvoje.

We have reflected on O God covenant loyalty your in [the] midst of temple your.

10 Kao što je ime tvoje, Bože, tako je i hvala tvoja na krajevima zemaljskim; pravde je puna desnica tvoja.

Like name your O God so praise your [is] over [the] ends of [the] earth righteousness it is full right [hand] your.

11 Nek se veseli gora Sion, nek se raduju kæeri Judejske sudova radi tvojijeh.

It will rejoice - [the] mountain of Zion they will be glad [the] daughters of Judah on account of judgments your.

12 Poðite oko Siona i obiðite ga, izbrojte kule njegove;

Go around Zion and go round it count towers its.

13 Pogledajte bedeme njegove, razmotrite dvorove njegove, da pripovijedate mlaðim naraštajima.

Set heart your - to rampart its walk through fortresses its so that you may recount [it] to a generation later.

14 Jer je ovaj Bog naš Bog uvijek i dovijeka, on æe biti voð naš dovijeka.
