Psalmi 36
1 Bezakoniku je bezbožna rijeè u srcu; nema straha Božijega pred oèima njegovijem.
[For the Chief Musician. By David, the servant of the LORD.] Transgression speaks to the wicked within his heart. There is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 Ali laže sebi u oèi, mjesto da prizna svoje bezakonje i omrzne na nj.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin.
3 Rijeèi su usta njegovijeh nepravda i lukavstvo, neæe da se opameti da tvori dobro.
The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.
4 Bezakonje smišlja na postelji svojoj, stoji na putu rðavom, zlo mu nije mrsko.
He plots iniquity on his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good. He doesn't abhor evil.
5 Gospode! do neba je milost tvoja, i istina tvoja do oblaka.
Your loving kindness, LORD, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
6 Pravda je tvoja kao gore Božije, sudovi tvoji bezdana velika; ljude i stoku ti èuvaš, Gospode!
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. LORD, you preserve man and animal.
7 Kako je dragocjena milost tvoja, Bože! sinovi ljudski u sjenu krila tvojih ne boje se.
How precious is your loving kindness, God. The descendants of Adam take refuge under the shadow of your wings.
8 Hrane se od izobila doma tvojega, i iz potoka sladosti svojih ti ih napajaš.
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures.
9 Jer je u tebe izvor životu, tvojom svjetlošæu vidimo svjetlost.
For with you is the spring of life. In your light shall we see light.
10 Raširi milost svoju na one koji te znadu, i pravdu svoju na dobra srca.
Oh continue your loving kindness to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 Ne daj da stane na mene noga ohola, i ruka bezbožnièka da me zaljulja.
Do not let the foot of pride come against me. Do not let the hand of the wicked drive me away.
12 Onamo neka padnu koji èine bezakonje, neka se stropoštaju i ne mogu ustati.
There evildoers are fallen. They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise.
