Psalmi 27
1 Gospod je vidjelo moje i spasenje moje; koga da se bojim? Gospod je krjepost života mojega; koga da se strašim?
A Psalme of David. The Lord is my light and my saluation, whom shall I feare? the Lord is the strength of my life, of whome shall I be afraide?
2 Ako navale na me zlikovci da pojedu tijelo moje, protivnici i neprijatelji moji, spotaæi æe se i pašæe.
When the wicked, euen mine enemies and my foes came vpon mee to eate vp my flesh; they stumbled and fell.
3 Ako protiv mene vojska u oko stane, neæe se uplašiti srce moje; ako se na me rat digne, ja se ni onda neæu bojati.
Though an hoste pitched against me, mine heart should not be afraide: though warre be raised against me, I will trust in this.
4 Za jedno samo molim Gospoda, samo to ištem, da živim u domu Gospodnjem sve dane života svojega, da gledam krasotu Gospodnju i ranim u crkvu njegovu.
One thing haue I desired of the Lord, that I will require, euen that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the dayes of my life, to beholde the beautie of the Lord, and to visite his Temple.
5 Jer bi me sakrio u kolibi svojoj u zlo doba; sklonio bi me pod krovom šatora svojega; na kamenu goru popeo bi me.
For in the time of trouble hee shall hide mee in his Tabernacle: in the secrete place of his pauillion shall he hide me, and set me vp vpon a rocke.
6 Tada bih podigao glavu svoju pred neprijateljima koji bi me opkolili; prinio bih u njegovu šatoru žrtvu hvale; zapjevao bih i hvalio Gospoda.
And nowe shall hee lift vp mine head aboue mine enemies rounde about mee: therefore wil I offer in his Tabernacle sacrifices of ioy: I wil sing and praise the Lord.
7 Èuj, Gospode, glas moj, tebe prizivljem, smiluj se na me i usliši me.
Hearken vnto my voyce, O Lord, when I crie: haue mercie also vpon mee and heare mee.
8 Srce moje govori pred tobom što si rekao: “tražite lice moje”; tražim lice tvoje, Gospode!
When thou saidest, Seeke ye my face, mine heart answered vnto thee, O Lord, I will seeke thy face.
9 Nemoj odvratiti od mene lica svojega, nemoj u gnjevu ostaviti sluge svojega; budi pomoænik moj; nemoj me odbiti, i nemoj me ostaviti, Bože, spasitelju moj!
Hide not therefore thy face from mee, nor cast thy seruat away in displeasure: thou hast bene my succour: leaue me not, neither forsake mee, O God of my saluation.
10 Jer otac moj i mati moja ostaviše me; ali Gospod neka me prihvati.
Though my father and my mother shoulde forsake me, yet the Lord will gather me vp.
11 Uputi me, Gospode, na put svoj i vodi me pravom stazom poradi onijeh koji me vrebaju.
Teache mee thy way, O Lord, and leade me in a right path, because of mine enemies.
12 Nemoj me dati na volju neprijateljima mojim; jer ustaše na me lažni svjedoci; ali zloba govori sama protiv sebe.
Giue me not vnto the lust of mine aduersaries: for there are false witnesses risen vp against me, and such as speake cruelly.
13 Vjerujem da æu vidjeti dobrotu Gospodnju na zemlji živijeh.
I should haue fainted, except I had beleeued to see the goodnes of the Lord in the land of the liuing.
14 Uzdaj se u Gospoda, budi slobodan; neka bude srce tvoje krjepko, uzdaj se u Gospoda.
Hope in the Lord: be strong, and he shall comfort thine heart, and trust in the Lord.
