Psalmi 25
1 K tebi, Gospode, podižem dušu svoju.
א To you, Adonai, do I lift up my soul.
2 Bože moj! u tebe se uzdam; ne daj da se osramotim, da mi se ne svete neprijatelji moji.
בּ My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
3 I koji se god u te uzdaju, neæe se osramotiti; osramotiæe se oni koji se odmeæu od tebe besputno.
גּ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 Pokaži mi, Gospode, putove svoje, nauèi me hoditi stazama tvojim.
דּ Show me your ways, Adonai. Teach me your paths.
5 Uputi me istini svojoj, i nauèi me; jer si ti Bog spasenja mojega, tebi se nadam svaki dan.
ה Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my yesha' ·salvation·, I wait for you all day long.
6 Opomeni se milosrða svojega, Gospode, i milosti svoje; jer su otkako je vijeka.
ז Adonai, remember your tender rachamim ·merciful loves· and your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for they are from old times.
7 Grijehova mladosti moje, i mojih prijestupa ne pominji; po milosti svojoj pomeni mene, radi dobrote svoje, Gospode!
ח Don’t remember the habitual sins ·missing the marks· of my youth, nor my rebellious breaches of relationships. Remember me according to your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for your goodness’ sake, Adonai.
8 Dobar je i pravedan Gospod; toga radi pokazuje grješnicima put.
ט Good and upright is Adonai, therefore he will instruct people who sin ·intentionally miss the mark goal· in the way.
9 Upuæuje krotke istini, uèi krotke hoditi putem njegovijem.
י He will guide the humble in mishpat ·justice·. He will teach the humble his way.
10 Svi su putovi Gospodnji milost i istina onima koji drže zavjet njegov i otkrivenje njegovo.
כּ All the paths of Adonai are chesed ·loving-kindness· and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 Radi imena svojega, Gospode, oprosti grijeh moj, jer je velik.
ל For your name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my depravity (moral evil), for it is great.
12 Koji se èovjek boji Gospoda? On æe mu pokazati koji put da izbere.
מ What man is he who fears Adonai? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
13 Duša æe njegova u dobru poèivati, i sjeme æe njegovo vladati zemljom.
נ His soul shall dwell at ease. His offspring shall inherit the land.
14 Tajna je Gospodnja u onijeh koji ga se boje, i zavjet svoj javlja im.
ס The friendship of Adonai is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
15 Oèi su mi svagda upravljene ka Gospodu, jer on izvlaèi iz zamke noge moje.
ע My eyes are ever on Adonai, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Pogledaj me i smiluj se na me, jer sam inokosan i nevoljnik.
פ Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.
17 Nek se raširi stisnuto srce moje, iz tjeskobe moje izvadi me.
צ The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.
18 Vidi jade moje i muku moju, i oprosti mi sve grijehe moje.
ר Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my habitual sins ·missing the marks·.
19 Pogledaj neprijatelje moje kako ih je mnogo i kakvom me pakosnom nenavišæu nenavide.
ר Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Saèuvaj dušu moju i izbavi me; ne daj da se osramotim, jer se u tebe uzdam.
שׁ Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
21 Bezazlenost i pravda neka me saèuva, jer se u tebe uzdam.
תּ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
22 Izbavi, Bože, Izrailja od svijeh nevolja njegovijeh.
Redeem Israel [God prevails], God, out all of his troubles.
