Psalmi 132
1 Opomeni se, Gospode, Davida i sve smjernosti njegove,
“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” O LORD! remember David, And all his affliction!
2 Kako se kunijaše Gospodu, i zavjetovaše Bogu Jakovljevu:
How he sware to Jehovah, And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “Neæu uæi u šator doma svojega, niti æu leæi na postelju odra svojega;
“I will not go into my house, Nor lie down on my bed,
4 Neæu dati sna oèima svojima, ni vjeðama svojima drijema;
I will not give sleep to my eyes, Nor slumber to my eyelids,
5 Dok ne naðem mjesta Gospodu, stana Bogu Jakovljevu.”
Until I find a place for Jehovah, A habitation for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
6 Evo, èusmo da je u Jefremovoj zemlji, naðosmo ga na poljima Kirijat-Jarimskim.
Behold, we heard of it at Ephratah; We found it in the fields of the forest.
7 Uðimo u stan njegov, poklonimo se podnožju nogu njegovijeh.
Let us go into his habitation; Let us worship at his footstool!
8 Stani, Gospode, na poèivalištu svojem, ti i kovèeg sile tvoje.
Arise, O LORD! into thy rest, Thou, and the ark of thy strength!
9 Sveštenici tvoji nek se obuku u pravdu, i sveci tvoji nek se raduju.
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness, And thy holy ones shout for joy!
10 Radi Davida sluge svojega nemoj odvratiti lica od pomazanika svojega.
For the sake of thy servant David, Reject not the prayer of thine anointed!
11 Zakle se Gospod Davidu u istini, od koje neæe otstupiti; od poroda tvojega posadiæu na prijestolu tvojemu.
Jehovah hath sworn in truth unto David, And he will not depart from it: “Of the fruit of thy body will I place upon the throne for thee.
12 Ako sinovi tvoji ušèuvaju zavjet moj i otkrivenja moja kojima æu ih nauèiti, onda æe i sinovi njihovi dovijeka sjedjeti na prijestolu svom.
If thy children keep my covenant, And my statutes, which I teach them, Their children also throughout all ages Shall sit upon thy throne.”
13 Jer je izabrao Gospod Sion, i omilje mu živjeti na njemu.
For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it as his dwelling-place.
14 Ovo je poèivalište moje uvijek, ovdje æu se naseliti; jer mi je omiljelo.
“This is my resting-place for ever; Here will I dwell, for I have chosen it.
15 Hranu æu njegovu blagosloviti, nište njegove nasitiæu hljeba.
I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 Sveštenike æu njegove obuæi u spasenje, i sveti æe se njegovi radovati.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her holy ones shall shout aloud for joy.
17 Tu æu uèiniti da uzraste rog Davidu, postaviæu vidjelo pomazaniku svojemu.
There will I cause to spring forth a horn for David; I have prepared a light for mine anointed.
18 Neprijatelje æu njegove obuæi u sramotu; a na njemu æe cvjetati vijenac njegov.
His enemies will I clothe with shame, And the crown shall glitter upon his head.”
