Psalmi 114

1 Kad izaðe Izrailj iz Misira, dom Jakovljev iz naroda tuðega,

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign language,

2 Judeja postade svetinja Božija, Izrailj oblast njegova.

Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

3 More vidje i pobježe; Jordan se obrati natrag.

The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.

4 Gore skakaše kao ovnovi, brdašca kao jaganjci.

The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.

5 Što ti bi, more, te pobježe i tebi, Jordane, te se obrati natrag?

What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Jordan, that you turned back?

6 Gore, što skaèete kao ovnovi, i brdašca, kao jaganjci?

You mountains, that you skipped like rams? You little hills, like lambs?

7 Pred licem Gospodnjim drkæi, zemljo, pred licem Boga Jakovljeva.

Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

8 Koji pretvara kamen u jezero vodeno, granit u izvor vodeni.

who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of waters.
