Psalmi 113

1 Hvalite, sluge Gospodnje, hvalite ime Gospodnje,

Alleluia. Praise the Lord, children. Praise the name of the Lord.

2 Da bude ime Gospodnje blagosloveno otsad i dovijeka.

Blessed is the name of the Lord, from this time forward and even forever.

3 Od istoka sunèanoga do zapada da se slavi ime Gospodnje.

From the rising of the sun, even to its setting, praiseworthy is the name of the Lord.

4 Uzvišen je nad svima narodima Gospod; svrh nebesa je slava njegova.

The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory is high above the heavens.

5 Ko je kao Gospod, Bog naš, koji sjedi na visini;

Who is like the Lord, our God, who dwells on high,

6 Koji se sagiba da vidi što je na nebesima i na zemlji;

and who gazes upon the humble things in heaven and on earth?

7 Koji iz praha podiže ubogoga, i iz kala uzvišuje ništega;

He lifts up the needy from the ground, and he urges the poor away from filth,

8 I posaðuje ga s knezovima, s knezovima u narodu njegovu;

so that he may place him with the leaders, with the leaders of his people.

9 Od nerotkinje naseljava kuæu, uèinivši je radosnom majkom sinovima. Aliluja!

He causes a barren woman to live in a house, as the joyful mother of sons.
