< Psalmi 105 >
1 Hvalite Gospoda; glasite ime njegovo; javljajte po narodima djela njegova.
Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his Name, Make known, among the peoples, his doings;
2 Pjevajte mu i slavite ga; kazujte sva èudesa njegova.
Sing ye to him, Make ye music to him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
Make your boast in his holy Name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
4 Tražite Gospoda i silu njegovu, tražite lice njegovo bez prestanka.
Search out Yahweh and his strength, Seek diligently his face at all times.
Remember his wonders which he hath done, His portents, and the just decisions of his mouth.
6 Sjeme Avramovo sluge su njegove, sinovi Jakovljevi izbrani njegovi.
O ye Seed of Abraham—his servants, Sons of Jacob—his chosen ones:
7 On je Gospod Bog naš, po svoj su zemlji sudovi njegovi.
Yahweh himself, is our God, Through all the land, are his just decision.
He hath remembered, unto times age-abiding, his covenant, The word he commanded, to a thousand generations;
Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
And confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel, as a covenant age-abiding;
11 Govoreæi: tebi æu dati zemlju Hanansku u našljedni dio.
Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, As your inherited portion;
12 Tada ih još bijaše malo na broj, bijaše ih malo, i bjehu došljaci.
While as yet they were men easily counted, —A very few, and sojourners therein;
And they wandered from nation to nation, From a kingdom, to another people.
He suffered no son of earth to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—[even] kings!
15 “Ne dirajte u pomazanike moje, i prorocima mojim ne èinite zla.”
Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
Then called he a famine over the land, All the staff of bread, he brake;
17 Posla pred njima èovjeka; u roblje prodan bi Josif.
He sent before them a man, For a slave, was he sold—[even] Joseph;
18 Okovima stegoše noge njegove, gvožðe tištaše dušu njegovu,
They forced, into a fetter, his foot, Into the iron, entered his soul;
19 Dok se steèe rijeè njegova, i rijeè Gospodnja proslavi ga.
Until the time when his word came to pass, Speech of Yahweh, proved him;
20 Posla car i odriješi ga; gospodar nad narodima, i pusti ga.
The king sent, and set him free, One having dominion over peoples, yet loosed he his bonds;
21 Postavi ga gospodarem nad domom svojim, i zapovjednikom nad svijem što imaše.
He appointed him lord to his household, And one having dominion over all he possessed;
That he might bind his rulers as he pleased, And, his elders, he might embue with wisdom.
23 Tada doðe Izrailj u Misir, i Jakov se preseli u zemlju Hamovu.
So Israel came into Egypt, And, Jacob, sojourned in the land of Ham;
24 I namnoži Bog narod svoj i uèini ga jaèega od neprijatelja njegovijeh.
And he made his people exceeding fruitful, —And caused them to become stronger than their adversaries.
He let them turn their heart—To hate his people, To deal treacherously with his servants;
26 Posla Mojsija, slugu svojega, Arona izbranika svojega.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 Pokazaše meðu njima èudotvornu silu njegovu i znake njegove u zemlji Hamovoj.
He set among them his threatening signs, And his wonders, in the land of Ham;
28 Pusti mrak i zamraèi, i ne protiviše se rijeèi njegovoj.
He sent darkness, and made it dark, But they rebelled against his words;
29 Pretvori vodu njihovu u krv, i pomori ribu njihovu.
He turned their waters into blood, And so caused their fish to die;
30 Provre zemlja njihova žabama, i klijeti careva njihovijeh.
Their land swarmed with frogs, In the chambers of their kings!
31 Reèe, i doðoše bubine, uši po svijem krajevima njihovijem.
He spake, and there came in the gad-fly, Gnats, in all their bounds;
32 Mjesto dažda posla na njih grad, živi oganj na zemlju njihovu.
He made their showers—hail, A fire flaming throughout their land;
33 I pobi èokote njihove i smokve njihove, i potr drveta u krajevima njihovijem.
And he smote their vines, and their fig-trees, And brake in pieces the trees of their bounds;
34 Reèe, i doðoše skakavci i gusjenice nebrojene;
He spake—then came the swarming locust, —The devouring locust, and that without number;
35 I izjedoše svu travu po zemlji njihovoj, i pojedoše rod u polju njihovu.
And devoured all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 I pobi sve prvence u zemlji njihovoj, prvine svakoga truda njihova.
Then smote he every firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength;
Thus brought he them forth, with silver and gold, Nor was there, throughout his tribes, one that faltered;
Egypt rejoiced when they went out, For the dread of them had fallen upon them.
He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,
40 Moliše, i posla im prepelice, i hljebom ih nebeskim hrani.
They asked, and he brought in the quail, —And, with the bread of the heavens, he satisfied them;
41 Otvori kamen i proteèe voda, rijeke protekoše po suhoj pustinji.
He opened the rock, and there gushed forth waters, They flowed along, through parched places, as a river;
42 Jer se opominjaše svete rijeèi svoje k Avramu, sluzi svojemu.
For he remembered his holy word, With Abraham his servant.
43 I izvede narod svoj u radosti, izbrane svoje u veselju.
Thus brought he forth his people with gladness, —With shouts of triumph, his chosen ones;
44 I dade im zemlju naroda i trud tuðinaca u našljedstvo.
And gave them, the lands of the nations, And, of the toil of the peoples, took they possession:
45 Da bi èuvali zapovijesti njegove, i zakone njegove pazili. Aliluja.
In order that they might observe his statutes, And, over his laws, might keep watch, Praise ye Yah.
