Psalmi 104
1 Blagosiljaj, dušo moja, Gospoda! Gospode, Bože moj, velik si veoma, obukao si se u velièanstvo i krasotu.
Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
2 Obukao si svjetlost kao haljinu, razapeo nebo kao šator;
Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
3 Vodom si pokrio dvorove svoje, oblake naèinio si da su ti kola, ideš na krilima vjetrnijem.
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
4 Èiniš vjetrove da su ti anðeli, plamen ognjeni da su ti sluge.
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
5 Utvrdio si zemlju na temeljima njezinim, da se ne pomjesti va vijek vijeka.
Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
6 Bezdanom kao haljinom odjenuo si je; na gorama stoje vode.
Thou didst cover it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7 Od prijetnje tvoje bježe, od gromovnoga glasa tvojega teku.
At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
8 Izlaze na gore i slaze u doline, na mjesto koje si im utvrdio.
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys to the place which thou hast founded for them.
9 Postavio si meðu, preko koje ne prelaze, i ne vraæaju se da pokriju zemlju.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 Izveo si izvore po dolinama, izmeðu gora teku vode.
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
11 Napajaju sve zvijeri poljske; divlji magarci gase žeðu svoju.
They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 Na njima ptice nebeske žive; kroz grane razliježe se glas njihov.
By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
13 Napajaš gore s visina svojih, plodima djela tvojih siti se zemlja.
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14 Daješ te raste trava stoci, i zelen na korist èovjeku, da bi izvodio hljeb iz zemlje.
He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 I vino veseli srce èovjeku, i lice se svijetli od ulja, i hljeb srce èovjeku krijepi.
And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.
16 Site se drveta Božija, kedri Livanski, koje si posadio.
The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17 Na njima ptice viju gnijezda; stanak je rodin na jelama.
Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
18 Gore visoke divokozama, kamen je utoèište zeèevima.
The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
19 Stvorio si mjesec da pokazuje vremena, sunce poznaje zapad svoj.
He appointeth the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20 Stereš tamu, i biva noæ, po kojoj izlazi sve zvijerje šumsko;
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: in which all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
21 Lavovi rièu za plijenom, i traže od Boga hrane sebi.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
22 Sunce grane, i oni se sakrivaju i liježu u lože svoje.
The sun ariseth, they withdraw, and lay themselves down in their dens.
23 Izlazi èovjek na posao svoj, i na rad svoj do veèera.
Man goeth forth to his work and to his labour until the evening.
24 Kako je mnogo djela tvojih, Gospode! Sve si premudro stvorio; puna je zemlja blaga tvojega.
O LORD, how many are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 Gle, more veliko i široko, tu gmižu bez broja, životinja mala i velika;
So is this great and wide sea, in which are creeping things innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26 Tu laðe plove, krokodil, kojega si stvorio da se igra po njemu.
There go the ships: there is that leviathan, which thou hast made to play in it.
27 Sve tebe èeka, da im daješ piæu na vrijeme.
These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their food in due season.
28 Daješ im, primaju; otvoriš ruku svoju, site se dobra.
That which thou givest them they gather: thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good.
29 Odvratiš lice svoje, žaloste se; uzmeš im duh, ginu, i u prah svoj povraæaju se.
Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
30 Pošlješ duh svoj, postaju, i ponavljaš lice zemlji.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 Slava Gospodu uvijek; nek se veseli Gospod za djela svoja!
The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
32 On pogleda na zemlju, i ona se trese; dotakne se gora, i dime se.
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
33 Pjevaæu Gospodu za života svojega; hvaliæu Boga svojega dok sam god.
I will sing to the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 Neka mu bude mila besjeda moja! veseliæu se o Gospodu.
My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
35 Neka nestane grješnika sa zemlje, i bezbožnika neka ne bude više! Blagosiljaj, dušo moja, Gospoda! Aliluja!
Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
