1 A poslije te pogibije reèe Gospod Mojsiju i Eleazaru sinu Aronovu svešteniku govoreæi:

And it came to pass, after the plague, that Yahweh spake unto Moses, and unto Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying:

2 Izbrojte sav zbor sinova Izrailjevijeh od dvadeset godina i više po domovima otaca njihovijeh, sve koji mogu iæi na vojsku u Izrailju.

Reckon ye up the sum of all the assembly of the sons of Israel from twenty years old and upwards, by their ancestral houses, —every one able to go forth to war in Israel.

3 I reèe im Mojsije i Eleazar sveštenik u polju Moavskom na Jordanu prema Jerihonu govoreæi:

So then Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them, in the waste plains of Moab, —by the Jordan near Jericho saying:

4 Da se izbroje od dvadeset godina i više, kako zapovjedi Gospod Mojsiju i sinovima Izrailjevijem, koji izaðoše iz zemlje Misirske.

From twenty years old and upwards, As Yahweh commanded Moses, and the sons of Israel, who had come forth out of the land of Egypt.

5 Ruvim bješe prvenac Izrailjev; a sinovi Ruvimovi: od Enoha porodica Enohova; od Faluja porodica Falujeva;

Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, —the sons of Reuben, To Hanoch, pertained the family of the Hanochites; To Pallu, the family of the Palluites;

6 Od Asrona porodica Asronova, od Harmije porodica Harmijina.

To Hezron, the family of the Hezronites, —To Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

7 To su porodice Ruvimove; a izbrojenijeh bješe meðu njima èetrdeset i tri tisuæe i sedam stotina i trideset.

These, are the families of the Reubenites, —and they who were numbered of them were found to be—forty-three thousand, and seven hundred, and thirty.

8 Sin Falujev bješe Elijav.

Now, the sons of Pallu, were Eliab;

9 A sinovi Elijavovi: Namuilo i Datan i Aviron. Ovaj Datan i ovaj Aviron, koji bijahu od onijeh što se sazivahu na zbor, ustaše na Mojsija i Arona u buni Korejevoj, kad bješe buna na Gospoda;

and the sons of Eliab, Nemuel, and Dathan and Abiram, —The same, Dathan and Abiram, notable men of the assembly, who contended against Moses and against Aaron in the assembly of Korah, when they contended against Yahweh;

10 I zemlja otvorivši usta svoja proždrije njih i Koreja, i izgibe ta gomila, i spali ih oganj dvjesta i pedeset ljudi, koji postaše ugled.

and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up—with Korah also, when the assembly died, —when the fire consumed two hundred and fifty men, and they became a warning;

11 A sinovi Korejevi ne pogiboše.

But, the sons of Korah, died not.

12 Sinovi Simeunovi po porodicama svojim: od Namuila porodica Namuilova; od Jamina porodica Jaminova; od Jahina porodica Jahinova;

The sons of Simeon, by their families, To Nemuel, pertained the family of the Nemuelites, To Jamin, the family of the Jaminites, —To Jachin, the family of the Jachinites:

13 Od Zare porodica Zarina, od Saula porodica Saulova.

To Zerah, the family of the Zerahites, —To Shaul, the family of the Shaulites:

14 To su porodice Simeunove; od njih bješe dvadeset i dvije tisuæe i dvije stotine.

These, are the families of the Simeonites, —two and twenty thousand and two hundred.

15 A sinovi Gadovi po porodicama svojim: od Sifona porodica Sifonova; od Agija porodica Agijeva; od Sunija porodica Sunijeva;

The sons of Gad, by their families, To Zephon, pertained the family of the Zephonites; To Haggi, the family of the Haggites, —To Shuni, the family of the Shunites;

16 Od Azena porodica Azenova; od Irija porodica Irijeva;

To Ozni, the family of the Oznites, —To Eri, the family of the Erites;

17 Od Aroda porodica Arodova; od Arilija porodica Arilijeva.

To Arod, the family of the Arodites, —To Arelites, the family of the Arelites:

18 To su porodice sinova Gadovijeh, a meðu njima bješe izbrojenijeh èetrdeset tisuæa i pet stotina.

These, are the families of the sons of Gad, as to them who were numbered of them, —forty thousand and five hundred.

19 Sinovi Judini: Ir i Avnan; ali umriješe Ir i Avnan u zemlji Hananskoj.

The sons of Judah, Er and Onan, —but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

20 Bijahu pak sinovi Judini po porodicama svojim: od Siloma porodica Silomova; od Faresa porodica Faresova; od Zare porodica Zarina.

And so, as to the sons of Judah, by their families, it was found that—To Shelah, pertained the family of the Shelanites, To Perez, the family of the Perezites, —To Zerah, the family of the Zerahites;

21 A sinovi Faresovi bjehu: od Asrona porodica Asronova; od Jamuila porodica Jamuilova.

And, as to the sons of Perez, it was found that—To Hezron, pertained the family of the Hezronites, —To Hamul, the family of the Hamulites:

22 To su porodice Judine, a meðu njima bješe izbrojenijeh sedamdeset i šest tisuæa i pet stotina.

These, are the families of Judah, as to them who were numbered of them, —seventy-six thousand, and five hundred,

23 A sinovi Isaharovi po porodicama svojim: od Tole porodica Tolina; od Fuve porodica Fuvina;

The sons of Issachar, by their families, Unto Tola, pertained the family of the Tolaites, —To Puvah, the family of the Puvites;

24 Od Jasuva porodica Jasuvova; od Amrama porodica Amramova.

To Jashub, the family of the Jashubites, —To Shimron, the family of the Shimronites:

25 To su porodice Isaharove; a meðu njima bješe izbrojenijeh šezdeset i èetiri tisuæe i tri stotine.

These, are the families of Issachar. as to them who were numbered of them, —sixty-four thousand, and three hundred.

26 Sinovi Zavulonovi po porodicama svojim: od Sareda porodica Saredova; od Alona porodica Alonova; od Alila porodica Alilova.

The sons of Zebulun, by their families, To Sered, pertained the family of the Seredites, To Elon, the family of the Elonites, —To Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites:

27 To su porodice Zavulonove, a meðu njima bješe izbrojenijeh šezdeset tisuæa i pet stotina.

These are the families of the Zebulunites as to them who were numbered of them, —sixty thousand, and five hundred.

28 Sinovi Josifovi po porodicama svojim: Manasija i Jefrem;

The sons of Joseph by their families, —Manasseh, and Ephraim.

29 Sinovi Manasijini: od Mahira porodica Mahirova; a Mahir rodi Galada, od kojega je porodica Galadova.

The sons of Manasseh, To Machir, pertained the family of the Machirites, and, Machir, begat Gilead, —To Gilead, pertained the family of the Gileadites.

30 Ovo su sinovi Galadovi: od Ahijezera porodica Ahijezerova; od Heleka porodica Helekova;

These are the sons of Gilead: Iezer, the family of the Iezerites, —To Helek, the family of the Helekites;

31 Od Esrila porodica Esrilova; od Sihema porodica Sihemova;

And Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; And, Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;

32 Od Simaera porodica Simaerova; od Ofera porodica Oferova;

And Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; And, Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

33 A Salpad sin Oferov nemaše sinova nego kæeri, kojima su imena Mala i Nuja i Egla i Melha i Tersa.

Now Zelophehad, son of Hepher, had no sons, but only, daughters, —and, the names of the daughters of Zelophehad, were Mahlah and Noah, Hoglah Milcah, and Tirzah.

34 To su porodice Manasijine, a od njih bješe izbrojenijeh pedeset i dvije tisuæe i sedam stotina.

These, are the families of Manasseh, —and, they who were numbered of them, —fifty-two thousand, and seven hundred.

35 Sinovi pak Jefremovi po porodicama svojim: od Sutala porodica Sutalova; od Vehera porodica Veherova; od Tahana porodica Tahanova.

These are the sons of Ephraim by their families, To Shuthelah, pertained the family of the Shuthelahites, To Becher, the family of the Becherites, —To Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

36 A ovo su sinovi Sutalovi: od Erana porodica Eranova.

And, these, are the sons of Shuthelah, To Eran, pertained the family of the Eranites.

37 To su porodice sinova Jefremovijeh; a meðu njima bješe izbrojenijeh trideset i dvije tisuæe i pet stotina. To su sinovi Josifovi po porodicama svojim.

These, are the families of the sons of Ephraim, as to them who were numbered of them, —thirty-two thousand, and five hundred, These, are the sons of Joseph by their families.

38 A sinovi Venijaminovi po porodicama svojim: od Vele porodica Velina; od Asvila porodica Asvilova; od Ahirama porodica Ahiramova;

The sons of Benjamin by their families, To Bela, pertained the family of the Belaites, To Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites, —To Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

39 Od Sufama porodica Sufamova; od Ufama porodica Ufamova.

To Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites, —To Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

40 A Velini sinovi bjehu: Ader i Naman; od Adera porodica Aderova; od Namana porodica Namanova.

And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman, —[To Ard, pertained] the family of the Ardites, To Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

41 To su sinovi Venijaminovi po porodicama svojim, a meðu njima bješe izbrojenijeh èetrdeset i pet tisuæa i šest stotina.

These, are the sons of Benjamin by their families, —and they who were numbered of them, —were forty-five thousand and six hundred.

42 A ovo su sinovi Danovi po porodicama svojim: od Sameja porodica Samejeva; to je rod Danov po porodicama svojim.

These, are the sons of Dan, by their families: To Shuham, pertained the family of the Shuhamites, —These, are the families of Dan by their families:

43 U svijem porodicama Samejevijem bješe izbrojenijeh šezdeset i èetiri tisuæe i èetiri stotine.

All the families of the Shuhamites, as to them who were numbered of them, were, sixty-four thousand, and four hundred.

44 Sinovi Asirovi po porodicama svojim: od Jamina porodica Jaminova; od Jesuja porodica Jesujeva; od Verija porodica Verijina.

The sons of Asher, by their families: To Imnah, pertained the family of the Imnites, To Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites, —To Beriah, the family of the Beriites;

45 Sinovi Verijini: od Hovera porodica Hoverova; od Melhila porodica Melhilova.

To the sons of Beriah, To Heber, pertained the family of the Heberites, To Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites;

46 A kæeri Asirovoj bješe ime Sara.

And, the name of the daughter of Asher, was Serah.

47 To su porodice sinova Asirovijeh; a meðu njima bješe izbrojenijeh pedeset i tri tisuæe i èetiri stotine.

These, are the families of the sons of Asher as to them who were numbered of them, —fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

48 Sinovi Neftalimovi po porodicama svojim: od Asila porodica Asilova; od Gunija porodica Gunijeva;

The sons of Naphtali, by their families, To Jahzeel, pertained the family of the Jahzeelites; To Guni, the family of the Gunites:

49 Od Jesera porodica Jeserova; od Selima porodica Selimova.

To Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; To Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

50 To je rod Neftalimov po porodicama svojim, a meðu njima bješe izbrojenih èetrdeset i pet tisuæa i èetiri stotine.

These are the families of Naphtali, by their families, —and they who were numbered of them, were forty-five thousand and four hundred.

51 To su izbrojeni meðu sinovima Izrailjevijem, šest stotina i jedna tisuæa i sedam stotina i trideset.

These, are they who were numbered of the sons of Israel, six hundred and one thousand, —seven hundred and thirty,

52 A Gospod reèe Mojsiju govoreæi:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

53 Tijem neka se podijeli zemlja u našljedstvo prema broju imena;

Unto these, shall be apportioned the land as an inheritance by the number of names.

54 Kojih ima više, podaj im veæe našljedstvo, a kojih ima manje, njima manje; svi prema broju izbrojenijeh svojih neka imaju našljedstvo.

For the large one, thou shalt make large his inheritance, and for the small one, thou shalt make small his inheritance, —unto each one, in proportion to them who were numbered of him, shall be given his inheritance.

55 Ali ždrijebom neka se podijeli zemlja: po imenima plemena otaca svojih neka dobiju našljedstvo.

Nevertheless by lot, shall the land be apportioned, —by the names of the tribes of their fathers, shall they inherit.

56 Ždrijebom neka se podijeli svakome plemenu, bilo veliko ili malo.

At the bidding of the lot, shall be apportioned his inheritance, —between large and small.

57 A ovo su izbrojeni izmeðu Levita po porodicama svojim: od Girsona porodica Girsonova; od Kata porodica Katova; od Merarija porodica Merarijeva.

And these, are they who were numbered of the Levites by their families, To Gershon, pertained the family of the Gershonites, To Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; To Merari, the family of the Merarites.

58 Ovo su porodice Levijeve: porodica Lovenijeva, porodica Hevronova, porodica Malijeva, porodica Musijeva, porodica Korejeva. A Kat je rodio Amrama.

These, are the families of Levi—The family of the Libnites, The family of the Hebronites, The family of the Mahlites, The family of the Mushites, The family of the Korahites, —And, Kohath, begat Amram;

59 A ime je ženi Amramovoj Johaveta, kæi Levijeva, koja mu se rodila u Misiru; a ona rodi Amramu Arona i Mojsija, i Mariju sestru njihovu.

and the name of the wife of Amram, was Jochebed daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt, —and she bare to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister:

60 A Aronu se rodi Nadav i Avijud i Eleazar i Itamar.

And, there were born to Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, —Eleazar and Ithamar;

61 Ali Nadav i Avijud pogiboše kad prinesoše tuð oganj pred Gospodom.

But Nadab and Abihu died, —when they brought near strange fire before Yahweh:

62 I bješe ih izbrojenijeh dvadeset i tri tisuæe, svega muškinja od jednoga mjeseca i više; i ne biše brojeni meðu sinove Izrailjeve, jer im nije dano našljedstvo meðu sinovima Izrailjevijem.

And they who were numbered of them were found to be—twenty-three thousand, all the males from one month old and upwards—for they had not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel, because there was given unto them no inheritance, in the midst of the sons of Israel.

63 To su izbrojeni, kad Mojsije i Eleazar sveštenik izbrojiše sinove Izrailjeve u polju Moavskom na Jordanu prema Jerihonu.

These, are they who were numbered by Moses, and Eleazar, the priest, —when they numbered the sons of Israel, in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan, near Jericho.

64 A meðu njima ne bješe nijedan od onijeh koje izbrojiše Mojsije i Aron sveštenik kad brojiše sinove Izrailjeve u pustinji Sinajskoj.

And among these, was there not found a man of them who had been numbered by Moses, and Aaron the priest, —when they numbered the sons of Israel in the desert of Sinai.

65 Jer Gospod bješe rekao za njih: pomrijeæe u pustinji. I ne osta ih ni jedan osim Haleva sina Jefonijina i Isusa sina Navina.

For Yahweh had said of them, They shall surely die, in the desert. And there was not left of them a man, save only, Caleb son of Jephunneh, and Joshua son of Nun.
