Nehemija 12
1 A ovo su sveštenici i Leviti koji doðoše sa Zorovaveljem sinom Salatilovijem i Isusom: Seraja, Jeremija, Jezdra,
Now, these, are the priests and the Levites, who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua, —Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra;
2 Amarija, Maluh, Hatus,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush;
3 Sehanija, Reum, Lerimot,
Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth;
4 Ido, Gineto, Avija,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah;
5 Mijamin, Madija, Vilga,
Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah;
6 Semaja, Jojariv, Jedaja,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah;
7 Saluj, Amok, Helkija, Jedaja. To bjehu glavari izmeðu sveštenika i braæe svoje za vremena Isusova.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah, —these, were the chiefs of the priests and their brethren, in the days of Jeshua.
8 A Leviti: Isus, Vinuj, Kadmilo, Serevija, Juda i Matanija, koji s braæom svojom bješe nad pjevanjem.
And, the Levites, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, —over the choirs, he and his brethren;
9 A Vakvukija i Unije braæa njihova bijahu prema njima u redovima svojim.
and Bakbukiah and Unno their brethren, were over against them, in wards.
10 A Isus rodi Joakima, a Joakim rodi Elijasiva, a Elijasiv rodi Jojadu;
And Jeshua, begat Joiakim, —and Joiakim, begat Eliashib, and, Eliashib, [begat] Joiada;
11 A Jojada rodi Jonatana, a Jonatan rodi Jadvu.
and, Joiada, begat Jonathan, —and, Jonathan, begat Jaddua.
12 A za vremena Joakimova bjehu sveštenici, glavari domova otaèkih: od doma Serajina Meraja, od Jeremijina Ananija,
And, in the days of Joiakim, were priests, ancestral chiefs, —of Seraiah, Meraiah, of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 Od Jezdrina Mesulam, od Amarijina Joanan,
of Ezra, Meshullam, —of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 Od Melihujeva Jonatan, od Sevanijina Josif,
of Malluchi, Jonathan, —of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 Od Harimova Adna, od Merajotova Elkaj,
of Harim, Adna, —of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 Od Idova Zaharija, od Ginetova Mesulam,
of Iddo, Zechariah, —of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 Od Avijina Zihrije, od Minijaminova i Moadijina Filtaj,
of Abijah, Zichri, —of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;
18 Od Vilžina Samuja, od Semajina Jonatan,
of Bilgah, Shammua, —of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 Od Jojarivova Matenaj, od Jedajina Ozije,
and, of Joiarib, Mattenai, —of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 Od Salajeva Kalaj, od Amokova Ever,
of Sallai, Kallai, —of Amok, Eber;
21 Od Helkijina Asavija, od Jedajina Natanailo.
of Hilkiah, Hashabiah, —of Jedaiah, Nethanel.
22 A Leviti, glavari domova otaèkih, za vremena Elijasiva, Jojade, Joanana i Jadve biše popisani sa sveštenicima do carovanja Darija cara Persijskoga;
The Levites—in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded as ancestral chiefs, —also the priests, unto the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 Sinovi Levijevi, glavari domova otaèkih, biše popisani u knjizi dnevnika do vremena Joanana sina Elijasivova;
the sons of Levi, ancestral heads, were written in the book of Chronicles, —even until the days of Johanan, son of Eliashib.
24 I glavari Levitski bjehu: Asavija, Serevija i Isus sin Kadmilov i braæa njihova prema njima da hvale i slave Boga po zapovijesti Davida èovjeka Božijega, red prema redu;
And, the chiefs of the Levites, Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise—to give thanks, by the commandment of David the man of God, —ward joined to ward.
25 Matanija i Vakvukija, Ovadija, Mesulam, Talmon, Akuv, bijahu vratari koji èuvahu stražu kod riznica na vratima.
Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were watchers, doorkeepers of the ward, in the storehouses of the gates.
26 Ti bijahu za vremena Joakima sina Isusa sina Josedekova i za vremena Nemije kneza i sveštenika Jezdre književnika.
These, were in the days of Joiakim, son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, —and in the days of Nehemiah the pasha, and Ezra the priest the scribe.
27 A kad se osveæivaše zid Jerusalimski, tražiše Levite po svijem mjestima njihovijem da ih dovedu u Jerusalim da se svrši posveæenje s veseljem, hvalom i pjesmama uz kimvale, psaltire i gusle.
And, at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites, out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, —to keep the dedication and the rejoicing, both with thanksgiving and with music, cymbals, harps, and with lyres.
28 I skupiše se sinovi pjevaèki i iz ravnica oko Jerusalima i iz sela Netofatskih,
So the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, —both out of the circuit round about Jerusalem, and out of the villages of the Netophathites;
29 I iz Vet-Gilgala i iz polja Gevskih i Azmavetskih, jer pjevaèi bijahu naselili sela oko Jerusalima.
also out of Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba, and Azmaveth, —for, villages, had the singers builded for themselves, round about Jerusalem.
30 I oèistiše se sveštenici i Leviti, i oèistiše narod i vrata i zid.
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, —and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Iza toga zapovjedih knezovima Judejskim da izaðu na zid, i postavih dva velika zbora pjevaèka, i jedan od njih iðaše nadesno s gornje strane zida k vratima gnojnijem.
Then brought I up the rulers of Judah upon the wall, —and I appointed two large choirs, even to go in procession to the right, upon the wall, towards the dung-gate;
32 A za njima iðaše Osaja i polovina knezova Judinijeh,
and after them went Hoshaiah, and half the rulers of Judah;
33 I Azarija, Jezdra i Mesulam,
then Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam;
34 Juda i Venijamin i Semaja i Jeremija,
Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;
35 I od sinova sveštenièkih s trubama Zaharija sin Jonatana, sina Semaje, sina Matanije, sina Zahura, sina Asafova,
and, of the sons of the priests, with trumpets, Zechariah—son of Jonathan—son of Shemaiah—son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph;
36 I braæa njegova Semaja i Azareilo, Milalaj, Gilalaj, Maj, Natanilo i Juda i Ananije sa spravama muzièkim Davida èovjeka Božijega, a Jezdra književnik pred njima;
and his brethren—Shemaiah and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the instruments of music of David, the man of God, —with Ezra the scribe before them;
37 Potom k vratima kod studenca, koja bijahu prema njima, iðahu uz basamake grada Davidova kuda se ide na zid, iznad doma Davidova pa do vrata vodenijeh k istoku.
and, over they fountain gate and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, —above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.
38 A drugi zbor pjevaèki iðaše prema onima, i ja za njim, i polovica naroda po zidu iznad kule peæske do širokoga zida,
And, the second choir, was going over against them, I, following it, —with the half of the people upon the wall, above the tower of the ovens, even as far as the broad wall;
39 I iznad vrata Jefremovijeh k vratima starijem i k vratima ribljim i ka kuli Ananeilovoj i kuli Meji, pa do vrata ovèijih; i stadoše kod vrata tamnièkih.
and above the gate of Ephraim, and upon the old gate, and upon the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even as far as the sheep-gate, —and they came to a stand, at the gate of the guard.
40 Potom stadoše oba zbora pjevaèka u domu Božijem, i ja i polovica glavara sa mnom,
So the two choirs, came to a stand, at the house of God, —and I, and half the deputies with me;
41 I sveštenici Elijakim, Masija, Minijamin, Mihaja, Elioinaj, Zaharija, Ananija s trubama,
and, the priests—Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 I Masija i Semaja i Eleazar i Ozije i Joanan i Malhija i Elam i Eser. I pjevaèi pjevahu glasno s Jezrajom naèelnikom svojim.
and Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer, —and the musicians sounded, aloud with Jezrahiah who was over them.
43 I prinesoše velike žrtve taj dan, i veseliše se; jer ih Bog razveseli veseljem velikim; i žene i djeca veseliše se, i veselje Jerusalimsko èujaše se daleko.
And they sacrificed, on that day, great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for, God, had caused them to rejoice with great joy, moreover also, the women and children, rejoiced, —so that the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
44 I postavljeni biše taj dan ljudi nad klijetima u kojima se ostavljahu prinosi, prvine i desetak, da sabiraju u njih s njiva gradskih zakonite dijelove za sveštenike i za Levite, jer se Juda radovaše sveštenicima i Levitima što stajahu na poslu,
And there were set in charge, on that day, certain men, over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law, for the priests, and for the Levites, —for, the joy of Judah, was over the priests and over the Levites, who were remaining.
45 I izvršivahu što im je Bog njihov zapovjedio da izvršuju i što trebaše izvršivati za oèišæenje, kao i pjevaèi i vratari po zapovijesti Davida i Solomuna sina njegova.
So they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and [so did] the singers and the doorkeepers, —according to the commandment of David and of Solomon his son.
46 Jer otprije, za vremena Davidova i Asafova biše postavljeni glavari pjevaèki i pjesme u hvalu i slavu Bogu.
For, in the days of David and Asaph, of old, there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving, unto God.
47 I zato sav Izrailj za vremena Zorovaveljeva i za vremena Nemijina davaše dijelove pjevaèima i vratarima, svakidašnji obrok, i Levitima što bješe njima posveæeno, a Leviti sinovima Aronovijem što njima bješe posveæeno.
Now, all Israel—in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, used to give the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, the need of a day upon its day, —and they hallowed them unto the Levites, and, the Levites, hallowed them unto the sons of Aaron.
