Luki 17
1 A uèenicima reèe: nije moguæe da ne doðu sablazni; ali teško onome s koga dolaze;
And He said to the disciples, “It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but woe [to him] through whom they come;
2 Bolje bi mu bilo da mu se vodenièni kamen objesi o vratu, i da ga bace u more, nego da sablazni jednoga od ovijeh malijeh.
it is more profitable to him if a weighty millstone is put around his neck, and he has been cast into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Èuvajte se. Ako ti sagriješi brat tvoj, nakaraj ga; pa ako se pokaje, oprosti mu.
Take heed to yourselves, and if your brother may sin in regard to you, rebuke him, and if he may change his mind, forgive him,
4 I ako ti sedam puta na dan sagriješi, i sedam puta na dan doðe k tebi i reèe: kajem se, oprosti mu.
and if seven times in the day he may sin against you, and seven times in the day may return to you, saying, I change my mind, you will forgive him.”
5 I rekoše apostoli Gospodu: dometni nam vjere.
And the apostles said to the LORD, “Add to us faith”;
6 A Gospod reèe: kad biste imali vjere koliko zrno gorušièno, i rekli biste ovome dubu: išèupaj se i usadi se u more, i poslušao bi vas.
and the LORD said, “If you had faith as a grain of mustard, you would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.
7 Koji pak od vas kad ima slugu koji ore ili èuva stoku pa kad doðe iz polja, reèe mu: hodi brzo i sjedi za trpezu?
But who is he of you—having a servant plowing or feeding—who, to him having come in out of the field, will say, Having come, recline at once?
8 Nego ne kaže li mu: ugotovi mi da veèeram, i zapregni se te mi služi dok jedem i pijem, pa onda i ti jedi i pij?
But will not [rather] say to him, Prepare what I may dine, and having girded yourself around, minister to me, until I eat and drink, and after these things you will eat and drink?
9 Eda li æe on zahvaliti sluzi tome kad svrši što mu se zapovjedi? Ne vjerujem.
Does he have favor to that servant because he did the things directed? I think not.
10 Tako i vi kad svršite sve što vam je zapovjeðeno, govorite: mi smo zaludne sluge, jer uèinismo što smo bili dužni èiniti.
So also you, when you may have done all the things directed you, say, We are unprofitable servants, because that which we owed to do we have done.”
11 I kad iðaše u Jerusalim, on prolažaše izmeðu Samarije i Galileje.
And it came to pass, in His going on to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee,
12 I kad ulažaše u jedno selo sretoše ga deset gubavijeh ljudi, koji staše izdaleka,
and He entering into a certain village, there ten leprous men met Him, who stood far off,
13 I podigoše glas govoreæi: Isuse uèitelju! pomiluj nas.
and they lifted up the voice, saying, “Jesus, Master, deal kindly with us”;
14 I vidjevši ih reèe im: idite i pokažite se sveštenicima. I oni iduæi oèistiše se.
and having seen [them], He said to them, “Having gone on, show yourselves to the priests”; and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,
15 A jedan od njih vidjevši da se iscijeli povrati se hvaleæi Boga iza glasa,
and one of them having seen that he was healed turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,
16 I pade nièice pred noge njegove, i zahvali mu. I to bješe Samarjanin.
and he fell on [his] face at His feet, giving thanks to Him, and he was a Samaritan.
17 A Isus odgovarajuæi reèe: ne iscijeliše li se desetorica? Gdje su dakle devetorica?
And Jesus answering said, “Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine—where?
18 Kako se meðu njima koji ne naðe da se vrati da zahvali Bogu, nego sam ovaj tuðin?
There were none found who turned back to give glory to God, except this foreigner”;
19 I reèe mu: ustani, idi; vjera tvoja pomože ti.
and He said to him, “Having risen, be going on, your faith has saved you.”
20 A kad ga upitaše fariseji: kad æe doæi carstvo Božije? odgovarajuæi reèe im: carstvo Božije neæe doæi da se vidi;
And having been questioned by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God comes, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;
21 Niti æe se kazati: evo ga ovdje ili ondje; jer gle, carstvo je Božije unutra u vama.
nor will they say, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
22 A uèenicima reèe: doæi æe vrijeme kad æete zaželjeti da vidite jedan dan sina èovjeèijega, i neæete vidjeti.
And He said to His disciples, “Days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man and you will not behold [it];
23 I reæi æe vam: evo ovdje je, ili: eno ondje; ali ne izlazite, niti tražite.
and they will say to you, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; you may not go away, nor follow;
24 Jer kako što munja sine s neba, i zasvijetli se preko svega što je pod nebom, tako æe biti i sin èovjeèij u svoj dan.
for as the lightning is flashing out of one [part] under the sky [and] shines to the other [part] under the sky, so will the Son of Man also be in His day;
25 Ali mu najprije treba mnogo postradati, i okrivljenu biti od roda ovoga.
and first it is necessary for Him to suffer many things, and to be rejected by this generation.
26 I kako je bilo u vrijeme Nojevo onako æe biti u dane sina èovjeèijega:
And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man;
27 Jeðahu, pijahu, ženjahu se, udavahu se do onoga dana kad Noje uðe u kovèeg, i doðe potop i pogubi sve.
they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the Ark, and the flood came, and destroyed all;
28 Tako kao što bi u dane Lotove: jeðahu, pijahu, kupovahu, prodavahu, saðahu, zidahu;
in like manner also, as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29 A u dan kad iziðe Lot iz Sodoma, udari oganj i sumpor iz neba i pogubi sve.
and on the day Lot went forth from Sodom, He rained fire and brimstone from the sky, and destroyed all.
30 Tako æe biti i u onaj dan kad æe se javiti sin èovjeèij.
According to these things it will be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed;
31 U onaj dan koji se desi na krovu a pokuæstvo njegovo u kuæi, neka ne silazi da ga uzme; i koji se desi u polju, tako neka se ne vraæa natrag.
in that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his vessels in the house, do not let him come down to take them away; and he in the field, in like manner, do not let him turn backward;
32 Opominjite se žene Lotove.
remember the wife of Lot.
33 Koji poðe da saèuva dušu svoju, izgubiæe je; a koji je izgubi, oživljeæe je.
Whoever may seek to save his life, will lose it; and whoever may lose it, will preserve it.
34 Kažem vam: u onu noæ biæe dva na jednome odru, jedan æe se uzeti a drugi æe se ostaviti;
I say to you, in that night there will be two [men] on one bed: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
35 Dvije æe mljeti zajedno, jedna æe se uzeti a druga æe se ostaviti;
two [women] will be grinding at the same place together: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
36 Dva æe biti na njivi, jedan æe se uzeti a drugi æe se ostaviti.
[[two [men] will be in the field: one will be taken, and the other left.”]]
37 I odgovarajuæi rekoše mu: gdje, Gospode? A on im reèe: gdje je strvina onamo æe se i orlovi skupiti.
And they answering say to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body [is], there the eagles will be gathered together.”
