1 Potom izide drugi ždrijeb za Simeuna, pleme sinova Simeunovijeh po porodicama njihovijem, i bi našljedstvo njihovo usred našljedstva sinova Judinijeh.
The second/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Simeon. Each clan in that tribe was allotted some land that was inside the area that had been allotted to the tribe of Judah.
2 I dopade im u našljedstvo Vir-Saveja i Saveja i Molada,
Their land included the towns of Beersheba ([which is also named] Sheba), Moladah,
3 I Asar-Sual i Vala i Asem,
Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 I Eltolad i Vetul i Orma,
Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 I Siklag i Vet-Markavot i Asar-Susa,
Ziklag, Beth-Marcaboth. Hazar-Susah,
6 I Vet-Levaot i Saruen; trinaest gradova sa selima svojim;
Beth-Lebaoth, and Sharuhen. Altogether there were 13 towns and the surrounding villages.
7 Ajin, Remon i Eter i Asan, èetiri grada sa selima svojim;
The land allotted to them also included the four cities of Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan, and their surrounding villages.
8 I sva sela što bijahu oko tijeh gradova dori do Valat-Vira, a to je Ramat južni. To je našljedstvo plemena sinova Simeunovijeh po porodicama njihovijem.
They were also allotted some very small villages in an area that extended south to Baalath-Beer (which is [also named] Ramah, in the southern desert). That was the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Simeon.
9 Od dijela sinova Judinijeh dopade našljedstvo sinovima Simeunovijem, jer dio sinova Judinijeh bijaše velik za njih, zato sinovi Simeunovi dobiše našljedstvo na njihovu našljedstvu.
The tribe of Judah had been allotted much more land than they needed, so part of their land was given to the tribe of Simeon.
10 Potom izide treæi ždrijeb za sinove Zavulonove po porodicama njihovijem; i meða našljedstvu njihovu bi do Sarida.
The third/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Zebulun. Each clan of that tribe was allotted some of the land. The southern border started at Sarid [city].
11 A odatle ide meða njihova pokraj mora na Maralu, i dopire do Davaseta, i ide na potok koji je prema Jokneamu,
It extended west to Maralah [city] and on to Dabbesheth [city], and on to the brook just north of Jokneam [city].
12 Pa se okreæe od Sarida na istok do meðe Kislot-Tavorske, i ide na Davrat i izlazi do Jafe;
The border extended east from Sarid to the area near Kisloth-Tabor [city] and on to Daberath [town] and on to Japhia [town].
13 Otuda ide opet k istoku do Gita-Efera, a to je Ita-Kasin, i izlazi na Remon-Metoar, a to je Neja;
From there it extended east to Gath-Hepher [city] and Eth-Kazin [town], and north to Rimmon [city]. From there the border extended [west] to Neah [town].
14 Otuda se savija meða k sjeveru na Anaton, i izlazi u dolinu Jeftail,
From Neah it extended south to Hannathon [city] and from there to Iphtah-El Valley.
15 S Katatom i s Nalalom i Simronom i Idalom i Vitlejemom, dvanaest gradova sa selima svojim.
Their area included the towns of Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. Altogether there were twelve towns and the surrounding villages.
16 To je našljedstvo sinova Zavulonovijeh po porodicama njihovijem, to su gradovi i sela njihova.
That was the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Zebulun.
17 Za Isahara izide ždrijeb èetvrti, za sinove Isaharove po porodicama njihovijem;
The fourth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Issachar. Each of the clans of that tribe was allotted some of the land.
18 A meða im bi: Jezrael i Kesulot i Sunim,
Their land included the cities of Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
19 I Aferajim i Seon i Anaharat,
Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 I Ravit i Kision i Aves,
Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21 I Remet i En-Ganim i En-Ada i Vet-Fasis,
Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez.
22 A otuda ide meða na Tavor i na Sahasimu i Vet-Semes, i udara u Jordan; šesnaest gradova sa selima svojim.
The border of the area that was allotted to the tribe of Issachar was close to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-Shemesh [cities], and ended [in the east] at the Jordan [River]. Altogether there were 16 cities and the surrounding villages.
23 To je našljedstvo plemena sinova Isaharovijeh po porodicama njihovijem; to su gradovi i sela njihova.
Those cities and villages were in the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Issachar.
24 Potom izide ždrijeb peti za pleme sinova Asirovijeh po porodicama njihovijem.
The fifth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Asher. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
25 I meða im bi: Helkat i Alija i Veten, i Ahsaf,
Their land included the towns of Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,
26 I Alameleh i Amad i Misal, i pruža se do Karmela k moru i do Sihor-Livnata,
Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. The western border started at Carmel [Mountain] and Shihor-Libnath.
27 I odatle se savija k istoku na Vet-Dagon, i dopire do Zavulona i do doline Jeftaila k sjeveru, i do Vetemeka i Naila, i ide do Havula nalijevo;
From there it extended [southeast] to Beth-Dagon [town], and then to [the area that was allotted to the tribe of] Zebulun and Iphtah-El Valley. From there the border extended east and then north to Beth-Emek [town] and Neiel and Cabul [towns].
28 I Hevron i Reov i Amon i Kana dori do Sidona velikoga;
From there it extended west to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah [cities], and continued to Sidon, which is a big city.
29 Otuda se savija meða na Ramu i do tvrdoga grada Tira, a otuda se savija na Osu i izlazi na more pokraj dijela Ahsivskoga;
From there the border extended south toward Ramah and to the big city of Tyre that had strong walls around it. From there the border extended [west] to Hosah [town] and ended at the [Mediterranean] Sea. Within their area were the towns of Aczib,
30 I Ama i Afek i Reov; dvadeset i dva grada sa selima svojim.
Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. Altogether there were 22 towns and their surrounding villages.
31 To je našljedstvo plemena sinova Asirovijeh po porodicama njihovijem, to su gradovi i sela njihova.
Those cities and villages were within the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Asher.
32 Za sinove Neftalimove izide ždrijeb šesti, za sinove Neftalimove po porodicama njihovijem,
The sixth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Naphtali. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
33 I meða im bi od Elafa i od Alona do Sananima, i od Adami-Nekeva i Javnila do Lakuma, i izlazi na Jordan;
The border of their land started [in the west] at the [huge] oak tree at Zaanannim, near Heleph [town]. It extended [east] through Adami-Nekeb [city] and Jabneel, and then to Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan [River].
34 Potom se obræe meða na zapad k Aznot-Tavoru, i ide na Ukok, i dopire do Zavulona s juga i do Asira sa zapada i do Jude na Jordanu s istoka.
The western boundary extended through Aznoth-Tabor as far as Hukkok [city]. It extended to the borders of [the tribe of] Zebulun at the south, to [the border of the tribe of] Asher on the west, and the Jordan [River] at the east.
35 A tvrdi su gradovi: Sidim, Ser i Amat, Rakat i Hinerot,
[Within their land were] several cities with strong walls around them. They were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
36 I Adama i Rama i Asor,
Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 I Kedes i Edrej i En-Asor,
Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 I Iron Migdalil, Orem i Vet-Anat i Vet-Semes; devetnaest gradova sa selima svojim.
Iron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh. Altogether there were 19 cities and the surrounding villages.
39 To je našljedstvo plemena sinova Neftalimovijeh po porodicama njihovijem, to su gradovi sa selima svojim.
Those cities and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali.
40 Sedmi ždrijeb izide za pleme sinova Danovijeh po porodicama njihovijem,
The seventh/last tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Dan. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
41 I meða našljedstvu njihovu bi Sara i Estaol i Ir-Semes,
Their land included the towns of Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 I Salavin i Ajalon i Jetla,
Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43 I Elon i Tamnata i Akaron,
Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 I Eltekon i Giveton i Valat,
Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45 I Jud i Vani-Varak i Gat-Rimon,
Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,
46 I Me-Jarkon i Rakon s meðama svojim prema Jopi.
Me-Jarkon, Rakkon, and the area near Joppa.
47 Ali meðe sinova Danovijeh izidoše male za njih; zato izidoše sinovi Danovi i udariše na Lesem i uzeše ga i pobiše oštrijem maèem i osvojiše ga, i naseliše se u njemu, i Lesem prozvaše Dan po imenu Dana oca svojega.
But the people of the tribe of Dan were unable to take control of the land that had been allotted to them. So they went [northeast] and fought against the people in Leshem [city]. They defeated and killed all the people who lived there. Then they began to live in Leshem, and changed the name of the city to Dan, the man from whom their tribe descended.
48 To je našljedstvo plemena sinova Danovijeh po porodicama njihovijem; to su gradovi i sela njihova.
All of those towns and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans in the tribe of Dan.
49 A kad podijeliše zemlju po meðama njezinijem, dadoše sinovi Izrailjevi našljedstvo Isusu sinu Navinu meðu sobom.
After the Israeli leaders divided the land among the tribes, they allotted some land to Joshua.
50 Po zapovijesti Gospodnjoj dadoše mu grad koji zaiska, Tamnat-Sarah u gori Jefremovoj, a on sagradi grad i naseli se u njemu.
They allotted to him Timnath-Serah. Yahweh had said that he could have whatever city he wanted, and that was the city that he chose. It was in the hilly region which was allotted to the tribe of Ephraim. Joshua rebuilt the city and lived there.

Those were the areas that were allotted to the various tribes of Israel. Eleazar the Supreme Priest and Joshua and the leaders of each tribe divided up the land while they were all at Shiloh, by (casting lots/throwing marked stones) [to decide which area each tribe would receive]. They did that while Yahweh was watching, at the entrance of the Sacred Tent. In that way they completed dividing up the land.
