1 I dopade dio sinovima Josifovijem od Jordana kod Jerihona, od vode Jerihonske k istoku, na pustinju koja ide od Jerihona na goru Vetiljsku,
The lot came out for the descendants of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.
2 A od Vetilja ide na Luz i dolazi do meðe Arhijske do Atarota,
It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites at Ataroth;
3 Potom ide na zapad do meðe Jafletske pa do meðe donjega Vet-Orona i do Gezera, i izlazi na more.
and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Lower Beth Horon, even to Gezer; and ended at the sea.
4 Tako dobiše našljedstvo sinovi Josifovi, Manasija i Jefrem.
The descendants of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5 A bješe meða sinovima Jefremovijem po porodicama njihovijem, bješe meða našljedstva njihova k istoku Atarot-Adar do gornjega Vet-Orona,
This was the border of the descendants of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Upper Beth Horon.
6 I izlazi meða na more kod Mihmete sa sjeverne strane, pa se obræe meða k istoku do Tanat-Silona, i prolazi s istoka do Janohe,
The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north of Termah. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.
7 Potom slazi od Janohe do Atarota i Narata, i došavši do Jerihona udara u Jordan.
It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naaratah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.
8 Od Tafuje ide meða k istoku do potoka Kane i izlazi na more. To je našljedstvo plemena sinova Jefremovijeh po porodicama njihovijem.
From Tappuah the border went along westward to Wadi Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Ephraim according to their families;
9 A gradovi bijahu odvojeni sinovima Jefremovijem u našljedstvu sinova Manasijinih, svi gradovi sa selima svojim.
together with the cities which were set apart for the descendants of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the descendants of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10 A ne izagnaše Hananejina koji življaše u Gezeru; zato ostaše Hananeji meðu sinovima Jefremovijem do danas plaæajuæi danak.
They did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.
