Isaija 12

1 I reæi æeš u ono vrijeme: hvalim te, Gospode, jer si se bio razgnjevio na me, pa se odvratio gnjev tvoj, i utješio si me.

Thou shalt say, therefore, in that day, I will praise thee, O Yahweh! Though thou hast been angry with me, Thine anger turneth back. And thou dost comfort me.

2 Gle, Bog je spasenje moje, uzdaæu se i neæu se bojati, jer mi je sila i pjesma Gospod Bog, on mi bi spasitelj.

Lo, GOD is my salvation! I will trust and not dread, —For, my might and melody, is Yah, Yahweh, And he hath become mine, by salvation.

3 S radošæu æete crpsti vodu iz izvora ovoga spasenja.

Therefore shall ye draw water, with rejoicing, —out of the fountains of salvation.

4 I tada æete reæi: hvalite Gospoda, glasite ime njegovo, javljajte po narodima djela njegova, napominjite da je visoko ime njegovo.

And ye shall say in that day, Praise Yahweh. Call upon his Name, Make known among the peoples, his doings, —Bring to remembrance that, exalted, is his Name!

5 Pojte Gospodu, jer uèini velike stvari, neka se zna po svoj zemlji.

Praise in song Yahweh, For a splendid thing, hath he done, —Well known, is this in all the earth.

6 Klikuj i pjevaj, koja sjediš u Sionu, jer je svetac Izrailjev velik posred vas.

Make shrill thy voice and sing out thou inhabitress of Zion, —That great in the midst of thee, is the Holy One of Israel.
