1 A ovo su glavari domova otaèkih i pleme onijeh što poðoše sa mnom iz Vavilona za vlade cara Artakserksa:

2 Od sinova Finesovijeh Girsom; od sinova Itamarovijeh Danilo; od sinova Davidovijeh Hatus;
Of the sones of Phynees, Gerson; of the sones of Ythamar, Danyel; of the sones of Dauid, Arcus;
3 Od sinova Sehanije, koji bješe od sinova Farosovijeh, Zaharija i s njim na broj muškinja sto i pedeset;
of the sones of Sechemye and of the sones of Pharos, Zacarie, and with hym weren noumbrid an hundrid and fifti men;
4 Od sinova Fat-Moavovijeh Elioinaj sin Zerajin i s njim muškinja dvjesta;
of the sones of Phet, Moab, and Elioneay, the sone of Zacharie, and with hym two hundrid men;
5 Od sinova Sehanijinih sin Jasilov i s njim muškinja tri stotine;
of the sones of Sechemye, the sone of Ezechiel, and with hym thre hundrid men;
6 I od sinova Adinovijeh Eved sin Jonatanov i s njim muškinja pedeset;
of the sones of Addam, Nabeth, the sone of Jonathan, and with hym fifti men;
7 I od sinova Elamovijeh Isaija sin Atalijin i s njim muškinja sedamdeset;
of the sones of Elam, Ysaie, the sone of Italie, and with him seuenti men;
8 I od sinova Sefatijinih Zevadija sin Mihailov i s njim muškinja osamdeset;
of the sones of Saphacie, Zebedie, the sone of Mycael, and with him fourescore men;
9 Od sinova Joavovijeh Ovadija sin Jehilov i s njim muškinja dvjesta i osamdeset;
of the sones of Joab, Obedie, the sone of Jehiel, and with him two hundrid and eiytene men;
10 I od sinova Selomitovijeh sin Josifijin i s njim muškinja sto i šezdeset;
of the sones of Salomyth, the sone of Josphie, and with hym an hundrid and sixti men; of the sones of Belbai,
11 I od sinova Vivajevih Zaharija sin Vivajev i s njim muškinja dvadeset i osam;
Zacarie, the sone of Belbai, and with hym twenti and eiyte men;
12 I od sinova Azgadovijeh Joanan sin Akatanov i s njim muškinja sto i deset;
of the sones of Ezead, Johannam, the sone of Ezethan, and with hym an hundrid and ten men;
13 I od sinova Adonikamovijeh pošljednjih po imenu Elifelet, Jeilo i Semaja i s njima muškinja šezdeset;
of the sones of Adonycam, that weren the laste, and these ben the names of hem, Eliphelech, and Eihel, and Samaie, and with hem weren sexti men;
14 I od sinova Vigvajevijeh Gutaj i Zavud, i s njima muškinja sedamdeset.

15 I sabrah ih kod rijeke koja teèe u Avu, i ondje stajasmo u okolu tri dana; poslije pregledah narod i sveštenike, ali ne naðoh ondje nijednoga od sinova Levijevih.

16 Zato poslah Elijezera, Arila, Semaju i Elnatana i Jariva i Elnatana i Natana i Zahariju i Mesulama glavare, i Jojariva i Elnatana uèitelje,

17 I opravih ih k Idu poglavaru u mjestu Kasifiji, i nauèih ih šta æe govoriti Idu i braæi njegovoj Netinejima u mjestu Kasifiji da bi nam doveli sluge za dom Boga našega.

18 I dovedoše nam, jer dobra ruka Božija bješe nad nama, èovjeka razumna izmeðu sinova Malija sina Levija sina Izrailjeva, Sereviju sa sinovima njegovijem i braæom njegovom, njih osamnaest;

19 I Asaviju i s njim Isaiju od sinova Merarijevih, s braæom njegovom i njihovijem sinovima, njih dvadeset,
and Azabie, and Isaie, with him of the sones of Merari, thei brouyten his britheren, and his sones, twenti;

21 Tada oglasih ondje na rijeci Avi post, da bismo se ponizili pred Bogom svojim i izmolili u njega sreæan put sebi i djeci svojoj i svemu blagu svojemu.

22 Jer me bijaše stid iskati od cara vojske i konjika da nas brane od neprijatelja putem, jer bijasmo rekli caru govoreæi: ruka je Boga našega na dobro nad svima koji ga traže, i jaèina je njegova i gnjev na sve koji ga ostavljaju.
For Y schamede to axe of the kyng help, and horse men, that schulden defende vs fro enemyes in the weie, for we hadden seid to the king, The hond of oure God is on alle men that seken hym in goodnesse; and his lordschip, and his strengthe, and strong veniaunce ben on alle men that forsaken hym.
23 Tako postismo i molismo Boga svojega za to, i umolismo ga.

24 Tada odvojih izmeðu glavara sveštenièkih dvanaest, Sereviju, Asaviju i s njima desetoricu braæe njihove.

25 I izmjerih im srebro i zlato i sudove, priloge domu Boga našega što priloži car i savjetnici njegovi i knezovi njegovi i sav narod Izrailjev koji se naðe;
and Y bitook vndur certeyn weiyte and noumbre to hem the siluer and gold, and the halewid vessels of the hows of oure God, whiche the kyng hadde offrid, and hise counseleris, and hise princes, and `al Israel, of hem that weren foundun.
26 Izmjerih im u ruke šest stotina i pedeset talanata srebra, i sudova srebrnijeh sto talanata, i sto talanata zlata,
And Y bitook vndur certeyn weiyte and noumbre in the hondis of hem sixe hundrid and fifti talentis of siluer, and an hundrid siluerne vessels; an hundrid talentis of gold,
27 I dvadeset èaša zlatnijeh od tisuæu drama, i dva suda od mjedi dobre i skupocjene kao zlato.
and twenti goldun cuppis, that hadden a thousynde peesis of gold; and twei faire vessels of best bras, schynynge as gold.
28 I rekoh im: vi ste sveti Gospodu i ovi su sudovi sveti, i ovo srebro i zlato dragovoljan je prilog Gospodu Bogu otaca vaših.
And Y seide to hem, Ye ben the hooli men of the Lord,
29 Pazite i èuvajte dokle ne izmjerite pred glavarima sveštenièkim i Levitima i glavarima otaèkih domova Izrailjevijeh u Jerusalimu u klijetima doma Gospodnjega.
and wake ye, and kepe the hooli vessels, and siluer and gold, which is offrid bi fre wille to the Lord God of oure fadris, til ye yelde vndur certeyn weiyte and noumbre bifor th princes of prestis, and of dekenes, and bifor the duykis of meynees of Israel in Jerusalem, in to the tresour of Goddis hows.
30 I tako primiše sveštenici i Leviti izmjereno srebro i zlato i sudove da odnesu u Jerusalim u dom Boga našega.
Sotheli the preestis and dekenes token the weiyte of siluer, and of gold, and of vessels, for to bere in to Jerusalem, in to the hows of oure God.
31 I poðosmo od rijeke Ave dvanaestoga dana prvoga mjeseca da idemo u Jerusalim, i ruka Boga našega bijaše nad nama i izbavi nas iz ruku neprijateljskih i zasjedaèkih na putu.
Therfor we mouyden forth fro the flood of Hanna, in the tweluethe dai of the firste monethe, for to go in to Jerusalem; and the hond of oure God was on vs, and delyuerde vs fro the hond of enemye and of aspiere in the weie.
32 I doðosmo u Jerusalim i stajasmo ondje tri dana.
And we camen to Jerusalem, and we dwelliden there thre daies.
33 A èetvrti dan izmjeri se srebro i zlato i sudovi u domu Boga našega u ruke Merimotu sinu Urijinu svešteniku, s kojim bijaše Eleazar sin Finesov, i s njima Jozavad sin Isusov i Noadija sin Venujev, Leviti.

34 Sve na broj i na mjeru, i mjera bi zapisana od svega u isto vrijeme.

35 I koji biše u ropstvu pa se vratiše iz ropstva prinesoše na žrtvu paljenicu Bogu Izrailjevu dvanaest junaca za svega Izrailja, devedeset i šest ovnova, sedamdeset i sedam jaganjaca, dvanaest jaraca za grijeh, sve to na žrtvu paljenicu Gospodu.

36 I predaše zapovijesti careve namjesnicima carevijem i knezovima s ove strane rijeke, i oni potpomogoše narod i dom Božji.
Forsothe thei yauen the comaundementis of the kyng to the princes, that weren of the siyt of the king, and to the duykis biyende the flood; and thei reisiden the puple, and the hows of God.
