Jezekilj 25
1 Opet mi doðe rijeè Gospodnja govoreæi:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 Sine èovjeèji, okreni lice svoje prema sinovima Amonovijem i prorokuj na njih.
Son of man Set thy face against the sons of Ammon, — and prophesy against them.
3 I reci sinovima Amonovijem: èujte rijeè Gospoda Gospoda; ovako veli Gospod Gospod: što si govorio: aha! za svetinju moju, što se oskvrni, i za zemlju Izrailjevu, što opustje, i za dom Judin, što otide u ropstvo;
So then thou shalt say to the sons of Ammon, Hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh: Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh: Because thou saidst Aha! Against my sanctuary when it was profaned. And against the soil of Israel when it was laid waste, And against the house of Judah when they went into exile.
4 Zato, evo, ja æu te dati u našljedstvo istoènijem narodima, i pogradiæe u tebi dvorove sebi, i naèiniæe sebi kolibe u tebi; oni æe jesti plodove tvoje i piti mlijeko tvoje.
Therefore, behold me! delivering thee up to the Sons of the East for a possession And they shall set their encampments in thee, And place in thee their habitations, They, shall eat thy fruits, And they, shall drink thy milk;
5 I od Rave æu naèiniti obor kamilama i od zemlje sinova Amonovijeh tor ovèji, i poznaæete da sam ja Gospod.
And I will make of Rabbah a home for camels, And the sons of Ammon a couching-place for flocks, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
6 Jer ovako veli Gospod Gospod: što si pljeskao rukama i lupao nogom i veselio se iz srca što si opustošio svu zemlju Izrailjevu,
For, thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because thou didst clap thy hands and stamp with thy foot, —and didst rejoice with all thy contempt in thy soul, against the soil of Israel.
7 Zato, evo, ja æu dignuti ruku svoju na te, i daæu te narodima da te plijene, i istrijebiæu te izmeðu naroda i zatræu te izmeðu zemalja, i iskorijeniæu te, i poznaæeš da sam ja Gospod.
Therefore behold me! I have stretched out my hand over thee And will deliver thee for a prey to the nations, And will cut thee off from among the peoples, And will cause thee to perish from among the lands, — I will destroy thee, So shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh.
8 Ovako veli Gospod Gospod: što govori Moav i Sir: eto, dom je Judin kao svi narodi;
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Lo! like all the nations, is the house of Judah.
9 Zato, evo, ja æu otvoriti stranu Moavovu od gradova, od gradova na meði, krasnu zemlju Vet-jesimotsku, Valmeonsku i Kirijatajimsku,
Therefore, behold me! laying open the side of Moab out of the cities, Out of his cities on his frontiers, The beauty of the land of Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim:
10 Narodima istoènijem iza zemlje sinova Amonovijeh, i daæu im je u našljedstvo da nema spomena sinovima Amonovijem meðu narodima.
To the Sons of the East [when they come] against the sons of Ammon, and I will deliver it up for possession, -to the end the sons of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations:
11 I na Moavcima æu izvršiti svoje sudove, i poznaæe da sam ja Gospod.
Also upon Moab, will I execute judgments, - So shall they know that I, am Yahweh.
12 Ovako veli Gospod Gospod: što se Edom osveti domu Judinu i teško skrivi osvetivši im se,
Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Because of what Edom hath done, in taking vengeance on the house of Judah, so that they have become guilty again and again and have taken vengeance upon them,
13 Zato ovako veli Gospod Gospod: dignuæu ruku svoju na Edomsku i istrijebiæu iz nje i ljude i stoku, i obratiæu je u pustoš, od Temana do Dedana pašæe od maèa.
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, I will therefore stretch forth my hand over Edom, and will cut off therefrom man and beast, And will deliver it up as a desolation, from Teman, And they of Dedan, by the sword, shall fall,
14 I osvetiæu se Edomcima rukom naroda svojega Izrailja, i uèiniæe s Edomcima po gnjevu mojemu i po jarosti mojoj, i poznaæe moju osvetu, govori Gospod Gospod.
And I will put forth mine avenging against Edom, by the hand of my people Israel, And they shall deal with Edom, according to mine anger and according to mine indignation, - So shall they know mine avenging, Declareth My Lord. Yahweh,
15 Ovako veli Gospod Gospod: što Filisteji radiše iz osvete, i osvetiše se radujuæi se iz srca i potiruæi iz stare mržnje,
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because of what the Philistines have done by way of vengeance, - In that they have taken vengeance with contempt in the soul, to destroy, with the enmity of age-past times.
16 Zato ovako veli Gospod Gospod: evo ja æu dignuti ruku svoju na Filisteje, i istrijebiæu Hereteje, i potræu ostatak od primorja.
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! stretching forth my hand over the Philistines, And I will cut off the Cherethim, — And will cause to perish the remnant of the coast of the sea;
17 I uèiniæu na njima veliku osvetu karanjem gnjevnijem, i poznaæe da sam ja Gospod kad izvršim osvetu svoju na njima.
And I will execute upon them great vengeance, with rebukes of indignation: shall they know that I am Yahweh, when I put forth mine avenging against them.
