Ponovljeni Zakon 4

1 A sada, Izrailju, èuj uredbe i zakone, koje vas uèim da tvorite, da biste poživjeli i ušli u zemlju koju vam daje Gospod Bog otaca vaših i da biste je naslijedili.

And now O Israel listen to the statutes and to the judgments which I [am] about to teach you to observe so that you may live and you will go and you will take possession of the land which Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your [is] about to give to you.

2 Ništa ne dodajte k rijeèi koju vam ja zapovijedam, niti oduzmite od nje, da biste saèuvali zapovijesti Gospoda Boga svojega koje vam ja zapovijedam.

Not you must add to the word which I [am] about to command you and not you must diminish from it to keep [the] commandments of Yahweh God your which I [am] about to command you.

3 Oèi su vaše vidjele šta uèini Gospod s Velfegora; jer svakoga èovjeka koji poðe za Velfegorom istrijebi Gospod Bog tvoj izmeðu tebe.

Own eyes your [are] the [ones which] saw [that] which he did Yahweh at Baal Peor for every person who he walked after Baal Peor he destroyed him Yahweh God your from midst your.

4 A vi koji se držaste Gospoda Boga svojega, vi ste svi živi danas.

And you who were clinging on Yahweh God your [are] alive all of you this day.

5 Gle, uèio sam vas uredbama i zakonima, kao što mi zapovjedi Gospod Bog moj, da biste tako tvorili u zemlji u koju idete da je naslijedite.

See - I have taught you statutes and judgments just as he commanded me Yahweh God my to do thus in [the] midst of the land where you [are] about to go there towards to take possession of it.

6 Držite dakle i izvršujte ih, jer je to mudrost vaša i razum vaš pred narodima, koji æe kad èuju sve ove uredbe reæi: samo je ovaj veliki narod narod mudar i razuman.

And you will take care and you will observe [them] for that [will be] wisdom your and understanding your to [the] eyes of the peoples which they will hear! all the statutes these and they will say certainly [is] a people wise and understanding the nation great this.

7 Jer koji je veliki narod kojemu je Bog blizu kao što je Gospod Bog naš kad ga god zazovemo?

For who? [is] a nation great which [belongs] to it a god near to it like Yahweh God our in all calling we to him.

8 I koji je narod veliki koji ima uredbe i zakone pravedne kao što je sav ovaj zakon koji iznosim danas pred vas?

And who? [is] a nation great which [belongs] to it statutes and judgments righteous like all the law this which I [am] setting before you this day.

9 Samo pazi na se i dobro èuvaj dušu svoju, da ne zaboraviš onijeh stvari koje su vidjele oèi tvoje, i da ne izidu iz srca tvojega dokle si god živ; nego da ih obznaniš sinovima svojim i sinovima sinova svojih.

Only take heed to yourself and guard self your exceedingly lest you should forget the things which they have seen eyes your and lest they should depart from heart your all [the] days of life your and you will make known them to children your and to [the] children of children your.

10 Onaj dan kad stajaste pred Gospodom Bogom svojim kod Horiva, kad mi Gospod reèe: saberi mi narod da im kažem rijeèi svoje, kojima æe se nauèiti da me se boje dok su živi na zemlji, i da uèe tome i sinove svoje;

[the] day When you stood before Yahweh God your at Horeb when said Yahweh to me assemble to me the people so I may make hear them words my that they will learn! to fear me all the days which they [will be] alive on the land and children their they will teach!

11 Kad pristupiste i stajaste pod gorom, a gora ognjem goraše do samoga neba i bješe na njoj tama i oblak i mrak;

And you drew near! and you stood! under the mountain and the mountain [was] burning with fire to [the] heart of the heavens darkness cloud and thick darkness.

12 I progovori Gospod k vama isred ognja; glas od rijeèi èuste, ali osim glasa lika ne vidjeste;

And he spoke Yahweh to you from [the] middle of the fire a sound of words you [were] hearing and a form not you [were] seeing except a voice.

13 I objavi vam zavjet svoj, koji vam zapovjedi da držite, deset rijeèi, koje napisa na dvije ploèe kamene.

And he declared to you covenant his which he commanded you to observe [the] ten the words and he inscribed them on two tablets of stone.

14 I meni zapovjedi onda Gospod da vas uèim uredbama i zakonima da ih tvorite u zemlji u koju idete da je naslijedite.

And me he commanded Yahweh at the time that to teach you statutes and judgments to observe you them in the land where you [are] about to pass over there towards to take possession of it.

15 Zato èuvajte dobro duše svoje; jer ne vidjeste nikakoga lika u onaj dan kad vam govori Gospod na Horivu isred ognja,

And you will take heed exceedingly to selves your for not you saw any form on [the] day [when] he spoke Yahweh to you at Horeb from [the] middle of the fire.

16 Da se ne biste pokvarili i naèinili sebi lik rezan ili kaku god sliku od èovjeka ili od žene,

Lest you should act corruptly! and you will make for yourselves an image of a form of any figure a likeness of a male or a female.

17 Sliku od kakoga živinèeta koje je na zemlji, ili sliku od kake ptice krilate koja leti ispod neba;

A likeness of any animal which [is] on the earth a likeness of any bird of wing which it flies in the heavens.

18 Sliku od èega što puže po zemlji, ili sliku od kake ribe koja je u vodi pod zemljom;

A likeness of any creeping [thing] on the ground a likeness of any fish which [is] in the waters from under to the earth.

19 I da ne bi podigavši oèi svoje k nebu i vidjevši sunce i mjesec i zvijezde, svu vojsku nebesku, prevario se i klanjao im se i služio im; jer ih Gospod Bog tvoj dade svijem narodima pod cijelijem nebom;

And lest you should lift up eyes your the heavens towards and you will see the sun and the moon and the stars all [the] host of the heavens and you will be drawn aside and you will bow down to them and you will serve them which he has assigned Yahweh God your them to all the peoples under all the heavens.

20 A vas uze Gospod i izvede vas iz peæi gvozdene, iz Misira, da mu budete narod našljedni, kao što se vidi danas.

And you he took Yahweh and he brought out you from [the] furnace of iron from Egypt to become for him a people of inheritance as the day this.

21 Ali se Gospod razgnjevi na me za vaše rijeèi, i zakle se da neæu prijeæi preko Jordana ni uæi u dobru zemlju, koju ti Gospod Bog tvoj daje u našljedstvo.

And Yahweh he was angry with me on words your and he swore to not to pass over I the Jordan and to not to go into the land good which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you an inheritance.

22 I ja æu umrijeti u ovoj zemlji i neæu prijeæi preko Jordana; a vi æete prijeæi i naslijediti onu dobru zemlju.

For I [am] about to die in the land this not I [am] about to pass over the Jordan and you [are] about to pass over and you will take possession of the land good this.

23 Pazite da ne zaboravite zavjeta Gospoda Boga svojega, koji uèini s vama, i da ne gradite sebi lika rezanoga, slike od koje god tvari, kao što ti je zabranio Gospod Bog tvoj.

Take heed to yourselves lest you should forget [the] covenant of Yahweh God your which he has made with you and you will make for yourselves an image a form of anything which he commanded you Yahweh God your.

24 Jer je Gospod Bog tvoj oganj koji spaljuje i Bog koji revnuje.

For Yahweh God your [is] a fire consuming he a God jealous.

25 Kad izrodiš sinove i unuke, i ostarite u onoj zemlji, ako se pokvarite i naèinite sliku rezanu od kake tvari i uèinite što nije ugodno Gospodu Bogu vašemu, dražeæi ga,

For you will father children and children of children and you will grow old in the land and you will act corruptly and you will make an image of a form of anything and you will do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh God your to provoke to anger him.

26 Svjedoèim vam danas nebom i zemljom da æe vas brzo nestati sa zemlje u koju idete preko Jordana da je naslijedite, neæete biti dugo u njoj, nego æete se istrijebiti.

I call as witnesses against you this day the heavens and the earth that certainly you will perish! quickly from on the land where you [are] about to pass over the Jordan there towards to take possession of it not you will prolong! days on it for utterly you will be destroyed!

27 Ili æe vas rasijati Gospod meðu narode, i malo æe vas ostati meðu narodima u koje vas odvede Gospod;

And he will scatter Yahweh you among the peoples and you will be left men of number among the nations where he will drive away Yahweh you there towards.

28 I služiæete ondje bogovima koje su naèinile ruke èovjeèije, od drveta i od kamena, koji ne vide ni èuju, niti jedu ni mirišu.

And you will serve there gods [the] work of [the] hands of a human wood and stone which not they see! and not they hear! and not they eat! and not they smell!

29 Ali ako i ondje potražiš Gospoda Boga svojega, naæi æeš ga, ako ga potražiš svijem srcem svojim i svom dušom svojom.

And you will seek from there Yahweh God your and you will find [him] for you will seek him with all heart your and with all being your.

30 Kad budeš u nevolji i sve te to snaðe, ako se u pošljednje vrijeme obratiš ka Gospodu Bogu svojemu, i poslušaš glas njegov,

When it is distress to you and they will come upon you all the things these at [the] end of the days and you will return to Yahweh God your and you will listen to voice his.

31 Gospod je Bog tvoj milostiv Bog, neæe te ostaviti ni istrijebiti, jer neæe zaboraviti zavjeta s ocima tvojim, za koji im se zakleo.

For [is] a God compassionate Yahweh God your not he will abandon you and not he will destroy you and not he will forget [the] covenant of ancestors your which he swore to them.

32 Jer zapitaj sada za stara vremena, koja su bila prije tebe, od onoga dana kad stvori Bog èovjeka na zemlji, i od jednoga kraja neba do drugoga, je li kad bila ovaka stvar velika, i je li se kad èulo što tako?

That ask please to days former which they were before you from the day when he created God - humankind on the earth and to from [the] end of the heavens and to [the] end of the heavens ¿ has it happened like the thing great this or ¿ has it been heard like it.

33 Je li kad èuo koji narod glas Božji gdje govori isred ognja, kao što si ti èuo i ostao živ?

¿ Has it heard a people [the] voice of a god speaking from [the] middle of the fire just as you have heard you and has it lived?

34 Ili, je li Bog pokušao da doðe te uzme sebi narod iz drugoga naroda kušanjem, znacima i èudesima i ratom i rukom krjepkom i mišicom podignutom i strahotama velikim, kao što je uèinio sve to za vas Gospod Bog naš u Misiru na vaše oèi?

Or - ¿ has it attempted a god to come to take for itself a nation from [the] midst of a nation by trials by signs and by wonders and by battle and by a hand strong and by an arm outstretched and by terrors great like all that he did for you Yahweh God your in Egypt to eyes your.

35 Tebi je to pokazano da poznaš da je Gospod Bog, i da nema drugoga osim njega.

You you were shown to know that Yahweh he [is] God there not [is] still more from to alone him.

36 Dao ti je da èuješ glas njegov s neba da bi te nauèio, i pokazao ti je na zemlji oganj svoj veliki, i rijeèi njegove èuo si isred ognja.

From the heavens he caused to hear you voice his to discipline you and on the earth he showed you fire his great and words his you heard from [the] middle of the fire.

37 I što mu mili bijahu oci tvoji, zato izabra sjeme njihovo nakon njih, i izvede te sam velikom silom svojom iz Misira,

And because that he loved ancestors your and he chose offspring his after him and he brought out you by own presence his by power his great from Egypt.

38 Da otjera ispred tebe narode veæe i jaèe od tebe, i da tebe uvede u njihovu zemlju i dade ti je u našljedstvo, kao što se vidi danas.

To dispossess nations great and mighty more than you from before you to bring in you to give to you land their an inheritance as the day this.

39 Znaj dakle i pamti u srcu svojem da je Gospod Bog, gore na nebu i dolje na zemlji, nema drugoga.

And you will know this day and you will bring back to heart your that Yahweh he [is] God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath there not [is] still more.

40 I drži uredbe njegove i zapovijesti njegove, koje ti ja danas zapovijedam, da bi dobro bilo tebi i sinovima tvojim nakon tebe, da bi ti se produljili dani na zemlji koju ti Gospod Bog tvoj daje zasvagda.

And you will keep statutes his and commandments his which I [am] commanding you this day that it will go well for you and for children your after you and so that you may prolong days on (the land *L(abh)*) which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you all the days.

41 Tada odijeli Mojsije tri grada s ovu stranu Jordana prema istoku,

Then he set apart Moses three cities on [the] other side of the Jordan [the] rising of towards [the] sun.

42 Da bi utjecao u njih krvnik koji ubije bližnjega svojega nehotice ne mrzivši prije na nj, i kad uteèe u koji od tijeh gradova, da bi ostao živ:

To flee there towards a killer who he will kill neighbor his with no knowledge and he not [was] hating him from yesterday [the] third day and he will flee to one of the cities these and he will live.

43 Vosor u pustinji, na ravnici u zemlji plemena Ruvimova, i Ramot u Galadu u plemenu Gadovu, Golan u Vasanskoj u plemenu Manasijinu.

Bezer in the wilderness in [the] land of the plain for the Reubenite[s] and Ramoth in Gilead for the Gadite[s] and Golan in Bashan for the Manassite[s].

44 Ovo je zakon koji postavi Mojsije sinovima Izrailjevijem.

And this [is] the law which he set Moses before [the] people of Israel.

45 Ovo su svjedoèanstva i uredbe i zakoni, koje kaza Mojsije sinovima Izrailjevijem kad izidoše iz Misira,

These [are] the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments which he spoke Moses to [the] people of Israel when came out they from Egypt.

46 S ovu stranu Jordana u dolini prema Vet-Fegoru u zemlji Siona cara Amorejskoga, koji življaše u Esevonu, kojega ubi Mojsije i sinovi Izrailjevi kad izidoše iz Misira,

On [the] other side of the Jordan in the valley opposite to Beth Peor in [the] land of Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who [was] dwelling in Heshbon whom he struck down Moses and [the] people of Israel when came out they from Egypt.

47 I osvojiše zemlju njegovu i zemlju Oga cara Vasanskoga, dva cara Amorejska, koja je s ovu stranu Jordana prema istoku,

And they took possession of land his and [the] land of - Og [the] king of Bashan [the] two [the] kings of the Amorite[s] who [was] on [the] other side of the Jordan [the] rising of [the] sun.

48 Od Aroira, koji je na potoku Arnonu, do gore Siona, a to je Ermon,

From Aroer which [is] on [the] edge of [the] wadi of Arnon and to [the] mountain of Siyon that [is] Hermon.

49 I sve polje s ovu stranu Jordana prema istoku do mora uz ravnicu pod Azdot-Fazgom.

And all the Arabah [the] other side of the Jordan east-wards and to [the] sea of the Arabah under [the] slopes of Pisgah.
