Ponovljeni Zakon 30
1 A kad doðe na tebe sve ovo, blagoslov i kletva koju iznesoh preda te, ako ih se opomeneš u srcu svom, gdje bi god bio meðu narodima, u koje te zagna Gospod Bog tvoj,
And it shall come to pass, when all these things shall come in upon thee—the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, —and thou shalt bring them back unto thy heart among all the nations whither Yahweh thy God hath driven thee;
2 I obratiš se ka Gospodu Bogu svojemu i poslušaš glas njegov u svemu što ti ja zapovijedam danas, ti i sinovi tvoji, iz svega srca svojega i iz sve duše svoje,
and thou shalt return unto Yahweh thy God and shalt hearken unto his voice, according to all that I am commanding thee to-day, —thou and thy sons, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
3 Tada æe Gospod Bog tvoj povratiti roblje tvoje i smilovaæe se na tebe, i opet æe te sabrati izmeðu svijeh naroda, po kojima te bude rasijao Gospod Bog tvoj.
then will Yahweh thy God bring back thy captivity and have compassion upon thee, —and return and gather thee from among all the peoples whither Yahweh thy God hath scattered thee.
4 Ako bi ko tvoj i na kraj svijeta zagnan bio, otuda æe te opet sabrati Gospod Bog tvoj i otuda te uzeti.
Though thou be driven out unto the utmost part of the heavens, from thence, will Yahweh thy God gather thee, and, from thence will he fetch thee;
5 I odvešæe te opet Gospod Bog tvoj u zemlju koju bijahu naslijedili oci tvoji, i naslijediæeš je, i uèiniæe ti dobro i umnožiæe te veæma nego oce tvoje.
and Yahweh thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it, —and he will do thee good and multiply thee beyond thy fathers.
6 I obrezaæe Gospod Bog tvoj srce tvoje i srce sjemena tvojega, da bi ljubio Gospoda Boga svojega iz svega srca svojega i iz sve duše svoje, da budeš živ.
And Yahweh thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, —to love Yahweh thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 A sve kletve ove obratiæe Gospod Bog tvoj na neprijatelje tvoje i na nenavidinike tvoje, koji su te gonili.
And Yahweh thy God will put all these oaths upon thine enemies and upon them who hated thee who persecuted thee.
8 A ti kad se obratiš i staneš slušati glas Gospoda Boga svojega i tvoriti sve zapovijesti njegove, koje ti ja danas zapovijedam,
But, thou, wilt return, and hearken unto the voice of Yahweh, —and wilt do all his commandments, which I am commanding thee, to-day,
9 Daæe ti Gospod Bog tvoj sreæu u svakom djelu ruku tvojih, u plodu utrobe tvoje, u plodu stoke tvoje, u plodu zemlje tvoje; jer æe ti se Gospod Bog tvoj opet radovati èineæi ti dobro, kao što se radovao ocima tvojim,
And Yahweh thy God will make thee pre-eminent, in every work of thy hand—in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle and in the fruit of thy ground, for good, —for Yahweh will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
10 Ako uzaslušaš glas Gospoda Boga svojega držeæi sve zapovijesti njegove i uredbe njegove, napisane u knjizi ovoga zakona; kad se obratiš ka Gospodu Bogu svojemu svijem srcem svojim i svom dušom svojom.
if thou hearken unto the voice of Yahweh thy God, to keep his commandments, and his statutes, which are written in this scroll of the law, —if thou return unto Yahweh thy God, with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
11 Jer zapovijest ova koju ti ja zapovijedam danas niti je visoko ni daleko od tebe;
For as touching this commandment, which I am commanding thee to-day, it is not, too wonderful, for thee, neither is it far off.
12 Nije na nebu, da reèeš: ko æe nam se popeti na nebo da nam je skine i kaže nam je, da bismo je tvorili?
It is, not in the heavens, —that thou shouldest say—Who shall ascend for us into the heavens that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Niti je preko mora, da reèeš: ko æe nam otiæi preko mora, da nam je donese i kaže nam je, da bismo je tvorili?
Neither is it, over the sea, —that thou shouldest say, Who will pass over for us to the other side of the sea, that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 Nego ti je vrlo blizu ova rijeè, u ustima tvojima i u srcu tvojem, da bi je tvorio.
But, near unto thee, is the word, exceedingly, —in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 Gle, iznesoh danas preda te život i dobro, smrt i zlo.
See! I have set before thee, to-day, life and prosperity, —and death and calamity;
16 Jer ti zapovijedam danas da ljubiš Gospoda Boga svojega hodeæi putovima njegovijem i držeæi zapovijesti njegove i uredbe njegove i zakone njegove, da bi živ bio i umnožio se, i da bi te blagoslovio Gospod Bog tvoj u zemlji u koju ideš da je naslijediš.
for thou must keep the commandments of Yahweh thy God which I am commanding thee to-day, to love Yahweh thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes, and his regulations, —so shalt thou live and multiply, and Yahweh thy God will bless thee, in the land which thou art entering to possess.
17 Ako li se odvrati srce tvoje i ne uzaslušaš, nego zastraniš da se klanjaš drugim bogovima i njima služiš,
But, if thy heart shall turn away, and thou wilt, not hearken, —but shalt be drawn away, and shalt bow thyself down to other gods and serve them,
18 Javljam vam danas da æete zaista propasti, niti æete produljiti dana svojih na zemlji, u koju ideš preko Jordana da je naslijediš.
I declare unto you, to-day, that ye shall perish, —ye shall not prolong your days, upon the soil which thou art passing over the Jordan to enter and possess.
19 Svjedoèim vam danas nebom i zemljom, da sam stavio pred vas život i smrt, blagoslov i prokletstvo; zato izberi život, da budeš živ ti i sjeme tvoje,
I call to witness against you to-day, the heavens and the earth, that life and death, have I set before thee, the blessing and the curse, —therefore shouldest thou choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed;
20 Ljubeæi Gospoda Boga svojega, slušajuæi glas njegov i držeæi se njega; jer je on život tvoj i duljina dana tvojih; da bi nastavao na zemlji, za koju se zakleo Gospod ocima tvojim, Avramu, Isaku i Jakovu, da æe im je dati.
to love Yahweh thy God, to hearken unto his voice, and to cleave unto him, —for, he, is thy life, and thy length of days, that thou mayest abide upon the soil which Yahweh sware to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give unto them.
