1 Gospodari! pravdu i jednakost èinite slugama znajuæi da i vi imate gospodara na nebesima.
Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
2 Da vam se ne dosadi molitva; i stražite u njoj sa zahvaljivanjem,
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
3 Moleæi se i za nas ujedno da nam Bog otvori vrata rijeèi, da propovijedamo tajnu Hristovu, za koju sam i svezan,
With praying also for us, that God would open to us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 Da je javim kao što mi treba govoriti.
That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 Mudro živite prema onima koji su napolju, pazeæi na vrijeme.
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 Rijeè vaša da biva svagda u blagodati, solju zaèinjena, da znate kako vam svakome treba odgovarati.
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.
7 Za mene kazaæe vam sve Tihik ljubazni brat i vjerni sluga i drugar u Gospodu,
All my state shall Tychicus declare to you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord:
8 Kojega poslah k vama za to isto da razbere kako ste vi, i da utješi srca vaša,
Whom I have sent to you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
9 S Onisimom vjernijem i ljubaznijem bratom našijem, koji je od vas. Oni æe vam sve kazati kako je ovdje.
With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known to you all things which are done here.
10 Pozdravlja vas Aristarh, koji je sa mnom u sužanjstvu, i Marko neæak Varnavin, za kojega primiste zapovijesti ako doðe k vama, primite ga
Aristarchus my fellow prisoner salutes you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom you received commandments: if he come to you, receive him; )
11 I Isus prozvani Just, koji su iz obrezanja. Ovo su jedini moji pomagaèi u carstvu Božijemu koji mi biše utjeha.
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellow workers to the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort to me.
12 Pozdravlja vas Epafras, koji je od vas, sluga Isusa Hrista; on se jednako trudi za vas u molitvama da budete savršeni i ispunjeni svakom voljom Božijom.
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
13 Jer ja svjedoèim za njega da ima veliku revnost i brigu za vas i za one koji su u Laodikiji i u Jerapolju.
For I bear him record, that he has a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
14 Pozdravlja vas Luka ljekar ljubazni, i Dimas.
Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
15 Pozdravite braæu u Laodikiji, i Nimfana i domašnju crkvu njegovu.
Salute the brothers which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
16 I kad se ova poslanica proèita kod vas, uèinite da se proèita i u Laodikijskoj crkvi, i onu što je pisana u Laodikiju da i vi proèitate.
And when this letter is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that you likewise read the letter from Laodicea.
17 I kažite Arhipu: gledaj na službu koju si primio u Gospodu da je dovršiš.
And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.
18 Pozdrav mojom rukom Pavlovom. Opominjite se mojijeh okova. Blagodat sa svima vama. Amin.
