2 Korinæanima 6
1 Molimo vas pak kao pomagaèi da ne primite uzalud blagodat Božiju.
Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.
2 Jer on govori: u vrijeme najbolje poslušah te, i u dan spasenija pomogoh ti. Evo sad je vrijeme najbolje, evo sad je dan spasenija!
For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
3 Nikakvo ni u èemu ne dajte spoticanje, da se služba ne kudi;
We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,
4 Nego u svemu pokažite se kao sluge Božije, u trpljenju mnogom, u nevoljama, u bijedama, u tjesnotama,
but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God: in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,
5 U ranama, u tamnicama, u bunama, u trudovima, u nespavanju, u postu,
in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings,
6 U èistoti, u razumu, u podnošenju, u dobroti, u Duhu svetom, u ljubavi istinitoj,
in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
7 U rijeèi istine, u sili Božijoj, s oružjem pravde i nadesno i nalijevo,
in the word of truth, in the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 Slavom i sramotom, kuðenjem i pohvalom, kao varalice i istiniti,
by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report, as deceivers and yet true,
9 Kao neznani i poznati, kao oni koji umiru i evo smo živi, kao nakaženi a ne umoreni,
as unknown and yet well known, as dying and behold—we live, as punished and not killed,
10 Kao žalosni a koji se jednako vesele, kao siromašni, a koji mnoge obogaæavaju, kao oni koji ništa nemaju a sve imaju.
as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
11 Usta naša otvoriše se k vama, Korinæani, i srce naše rasprostrani se.
Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged.
12 Vama nije tijesno mjesto u nama, ali vam je tijesno u srcima vašijem.
You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.
13 A da mi vratite kao djeci govorim rasprostranite se i vi.
Now in return—I speak as to my children—you also open your hearts.
14 Ne vucite u tuðemu jarmu nevjernika; jer šta ima pravda s bezakonjem? ili kakvu zajednicu ima vidjelo s tamom?
Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
15 Kako li se slaže Hristos s Velijarom? ili kakav dijel ima vjerni s nevjernikom?
What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?
16 Ili kako se udara crkva Božija s idolima? Jer ste vi crkve Boga živoga, kao što reèe Bog: useliæu se u njih, i življeæu u njima, i biæu im Bog, i oni æe biti moj narod.
What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”
17 Zato iziðite izmeðu njih i odvojte se, govori Gospod, i ne dohvatajte se do neèistote, i ja æu vas primiti,
Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.
18 I biæu vam otac, i vi æete biti moji sinovi i kæeri, govori Gospod svedržitelj.
I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
