1 Jovanova 5
1 Koji god vjeruje da je Isus Hristos, od Boga je roðen; i koji god ljubi onoga koji je rodio, ljubi i onoga koji je roðen od njega.
Whosoever believeth that, Jesus, is the Christ, of God, hath been born: and, whosoever loveth him that begat, loveth him that hath been begotten of him.
2 Po tom znamo da ljubimo djecu Božiju kad Boga ljubimo i njegove zapovijesti držimo.
Hereby, perceive we, that we love the children of God, as soon as, God, we love, and, his commandments, we are doing.
3 Jer je ovo ljubav Božija da zapovijesti njegove držimo; i zapovijesti njegove nijesu teške.
For, this is the love of God—that, his commandments, we be keeping, and, his commandments, are not burdensome;
4 Jer svaki koji je roðen od Boga pobjeðuje svijet; i vjera je naša ova pobjeda koja pobijedi svijet.
Because, whatsoever hath been born of God, overcometh the world; and, this, is the victory that hath overcome the world—our faith.
5 Ko je koji svijet pobjeðuje osim onoga koji vjeruje da je Isus sin Božij?
[And] who is he that overcometh the world, save he that believeth that, Jesus, is the Son of God?
6 Ovo je Isus Hristos što doðe vodom i krvlju i Duhom, ne samo vodom nego vodom i krvlju; i Duh je koji svjedoèi, jer je Duh istina.
This, is he that came through means of water and blood, Jesus Christ: not, by the water, only, but, by the water and by the blood, —and, the Spirit, it is, that is bearing witness, because, the Spirit, is the truth.
7 Jer je troje što svjedoèi na nebu: Otac, Rijeè, i sveti Duh; i ovo je troje jedno.
Because, three, are they who are bearing witness—
8 I troje je što svjedoèi na zemlji: duh, i voda, i krv; i troje je zajedno.
The Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood; and, the three, are, [witnesses], unto one thing.
9 Kad primamo svjedoèanstvo èovjeèije, svjedoèanstvo je Božije veæe; jer je ovo svjedoèanstvo Božije što svjedoèi za sina svojega.
If, the witness of men, we receive, the witness of God, is, greater. Because, this, is the witness of God—in that he hath borne witness concerning his Son, —
10 Koji vjeruje sina Božijega ima svjedoèanstvo u sebi; koji ne vjeruje Bogu naèinio ga je lažom, jer ne vjerova svjedoèanstvu koje svjedoèi Bog za sina svojega.
He that believeth on the Son of God, hath the witness, within himself: He that doth not believe God, false, hath made him, —because he hath not believed on the witness which, God, hath witnessed, concerning his Son—
11 I ovo je svjedoèanstvo da nam je Bog dao život vjeèni; i ovaj život vjeèni u sinu je njegovom. (aiōnios g166)
And, this, is the witness: —that, life age-abiding, hath God given unto us, and, this life, is, in his Son: (aiōnios g166)
12 Ko ima sina Božijega ima život; ko nema sina Božijega nema života.
He that hath the Son, hath, the life, —he that hath not the Son of God, hath not, the life.
13 Ovo pisah vama koji vjerujete u ime sina Božijega, da znate da imate život vjeèni i da vjerujete u ime sina Božijega. (aiōnios g166)
These things, have I written unto you—in order that ye may know that ye have, Life Age-abiding—unto you who believe on the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
14 I ovo je sloboda koju imamo k njemu da ako što molimo po volji njegovoj posluša nas.
And, this, is the boldness which we have towards him: that, if, anything, we ask, according to his will, He doth hearken unto us.
15 I kad znamo da nas sluša što god molimo, znamo da æe nam dati što ištemo u njega.
And, if we know that he doth hearken unto us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the things asked, which we have asked of him,
16 Ako ko vidi brata svojega gdje griješi grijeh ne k smrti, neka moli, i daæe mu život, onima koji griješe ne k smrti. Ima grijeh k smrti: za taj ne govorim da moli.
If one should see his brother committing a sin, not unto death, he shall ask, and He will grant unto him life, —for them who are sinning, not unto death. There, is, a sin, unto death: not concerning that, am I saying, that he should make request.
17 Svaka je nepravda grijeh; i ima grijeh ne k smrti.
All unrighteousness, is, sin, and there, is, a sin, not unto death.
18 Znamo da nijedan koji je roðen od Boga, ne griješi, nego koji je roðen od Boga èuva se, i neèastivi ne dohvata se do njega.
We know that, whosoever hath been born of God, is not committing sin, —Nay, he that hath been born of God, He keepeth him, and, the wicked one, doth not touch him.
19 Znamo da smo od Boga i sav svijet leži u zlu.
We know that, of God, are we; and, the whole world, in the wicked one, is lying.
20 A znamo da sin Božij doðe, i dao nam je razum da poznamo Boga istinoga, i da budemo u istinome sinu njegovom Isusu Hristu. Ovo je istini Bog i život vjeèni. (aiōnios g166)
We know, moreover, that, the Son of God, hath come, and hath given us insight, so that we are getting to understand, him that is Real, —and we are in him that is Real, in his Son Jesus Christ. This, is the Real God, and life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
