1 Korinæanima 6
1 Smije li koji od vas, kad ima tužbu na drugoga, iæi na sud nepravednima, a ne svetima?
Dare any of you, having, a matter against his brother, sue for judgment before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
2 Ne znate li da æe sveti suditi svijetu? Kad æete dakle vi svijetu suditi nijeste li vrijedni suditi manjijem stvarima?
Or know ye not that, the saints, shall judge the world? And, if, by you, the world, is to be judged, unworthy are ye of the smallest judgment-seats?
3 Ne znate li da æemo anðelima suditi, akamoli stvarima ovoga svijeta?
Know ye not that we shall judge, messengers? and not, then, matters of this life?
4 A vi kad imate tužbe za stvari ovoga svijeta, uzmete za sudije one koje u crkvi ne broji niko ni u što!
If, then, for matters of this, life ye have judgment-seats, them who are of no account in the assembly, these, are ye seating thereupon?
5 Na sramotu vašu govorim: zar nema meðu vama nijednoga mudra koji može rasuditi meðu braæom svojom?
With a view to shame you, am I speaking. So, is it possible that there is among you—not so much as one wise man, who shall be able to judge between his brethren, —
6 Nego se brat s bratom sudi, i to pred nevjernima!
But, brother with brother, sueth for judgment, and that before unbelievers?
7 I to je veæ vrlo sramno za vas da imate tužbe meðu sobom. Zašto radije ne trpite nepravdu? Zašto radije ne pregorite štetu?
Already, indeed, it is an utter defeat for you, that ye are having, law-suits, one with another. Wherefore are ye not rather taking wrong? Wherefore are ye not rather suffering yourselves to be defrauded?
8 Nego vi sami èinite nepravdu i štetu, pa još braæi!
Nay! but, ye, are doing wrong, and defrauding, —and that [your] brethren.
9 Ili ne znate da nepravednici neæe naslijediti carstva Božijega? Ne varajte se: ni kurvari, ni idolopoklonici, ni preljuboèinci, ni adžuvani, ni muželožnici,
Or know ye not that, wrong-doers, shall not inherit, God’s kingdom? Be not deceiving yourselves: —neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,
10 Ni lupeži, ni lakomci, ni pijanice, ni kavgadžije, ni hajduci, carstva Božijega neæe naslijediti.
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners—shall inherit, God’s kingdom.
11 I ovakovi bijaste neki; nego se opraste i posvetiste i opravdaste imenom Gospoda našega Isusa Hrista i Duhom Boga našega.
And, these things, were some of you; but ye bathed them away, —but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified, in the name of [our] Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
12 Sve mi je slobodno, ali nije sve na korist; sve mi je slobodno, ali neæu da što oblada mnome.
All things, unto me, are allowable, but, not all things, are profitable: all things, unto me, are allowable, but, I, will not be brought under authority by any.
13 Jela su za trbuh, i trbuh je za jela; ali æe Bog i ova i onoga pokvariti. A tijelo nije za kurvarstvo, nego za Gospoda, i Gospod za tijelo.
Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods; but, God, will set aside, both it and them. The body, however, is not for fornication, but, for the Lord, —and, the Lord, for the body.
14 A Bog i Gospoda podiže, i nas æe podiæi silom svojom.
God, moreover, hath both raised up, the Lord, and will raise, us, up from among [the dead] through his power.
15 Ne znate li da su tjelesa vaša udi Hristovi? Hoæu li dakle uzeti ude Hristove i od njih naèiniti ude kurvine? Bože saèuvaj!
Know ye not that, your bodies, are, members of Christ? Shall I, then, take away the members of the Christ and make them members of a harlot? Far be it!
16 Ili ne znate da ko se s kurvom sveže jedno tijelo s njom postane? Jer, reèe, biæe dvoje jedno tijelo.
Or know ye not that, he that joineth himself unto the harlot, is, one body? For, saith he, the two, shall become, one flesh;
17 A ko se Gospoda drži jedan je duh s Gospodom.
But, he that joineth himself unto the Lord, is, one Spirit.
18 Bježite od kurvarstva; jer svaki grijeh koji èovjek èini osim tijela je; a koji se kurva on griješi svome tijelu.
Flee fornication! Every sin, whatsoever a man shall commit, is, outside his body, but, he that committeth fornication, bringeth sin into his own body.
19 Ili ne znate da su tjelesa vaša crkva svetoga Duha koji živi u vama, kojega imate od Boga, i nijeste svoji?
Or know ye not that, your body, is, a shrine of the Holy Spirit that is within you, which ye have from God? And ye are not your own; —
20 Jer ste kupljeni skupo. Proslavite dakle Boga u tjelesima svojijem i u dušama svojijem, što je Božije.
For ye have been bought with a price! Therefore glorify God in your body.
