1 I tako sav Izrailj bi izbrojen, i eto zapisani su u knjizi o carevima Izrailjevijem i Judinijem; i biše preseljeni u Vavilon za bezakonje svoje.
So all Israel were recorded by their genealogies, and, behold, they are written in the book of the Kings of Israel; but [the men of] Judah were carried away into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.
2 A koji prije nastavahu na dostojanju svojem po gradovima svojim, Izrailjci, sveštenici, Leviti i Netineji,
And the first inhabitants that [dwelt again] in their possessions in their cities, were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the temple-servants.
3 Nastavahu u Jerusalimu i od sinova Judinijeh i sinova Venijaminovijeh i od sinova Jefremovijeh i Manasijinih:
And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Menasseh.
4 Gutaj sin Amijuda sina Amrija, sina Imrija, sina Venija, od sinova Faresa sina Judina;
'Uthai the son of 'Ammihud, the son of 'Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
5 I od sinova Silonovijeh: Asaja prvenac i sinovi njegovi;
And of the Shilonites: 'Assayah the first-born, and his sons.
6 A od sinova Zerinijeh Jeuilo i braæe njegove šest stotina i devedeset;
And of the sons of Zerach: Je'uel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 A od sinova Venijaminovijeh Saluj sin Mesulama sina Oduje, sina Asenujina,
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodavyah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 I Jevnija sin Jeroamov, i Ila sin Ozija sina Mahrijeva, i Mesulam sin Sefatije sina Raguila, sina Ivnijina;
And Yibneyah the son of Jerocham, and Elah the son of 'Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatyah, the son of Re'uel, the son of Yibniyah;
9 I braæe njihove po porodicama svojim devet stotina pedeset i šest; svi bjehu ljudi poglavari od porodica po domovima otaca svojih.
And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chiefs of the divisions of their family divisions.
10 A od sveštenika: Jedaja i Jojariv i Jahin,
And of the priests: Jeda'yah, and Jehoyarib, and Jachin.
11 I Azarija sin Helkije sina Mesulama, sina Sadoka, sina Merajota, sina Ahitovova, starješina u domu Gospodnjem,
And 'Azaryah the son of Chilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Merayoth, the son of Actitub, the ruler of the house of God.
12 I Adaja sin Jeroama sina Pashora, sina Malhijina, i Masaj sin Adila sina Jazire, sina Mesulama, sina Mesilemita, sina Imirova;
And 'Adayah the son of Jerocham, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah, and Ma'sai the son of 'Adiel, the son of Jachzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer:
13 I braæe njihove, poglavara otaèkih domova svojih, tisuæa i sedam stotina i šezdeset ljudi vrijednijeh na poslu u službi u domu Gospodnjem.
And their brethren, chiefs of their family divisions, were one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 A od Levita Semaja sin Asuva, sina Azrikama, sina Asavijina, izmeðu sinova Merarijevih;
And of the Levites: Shema'yah the son of Chasshub, the son of 'Azrikam, the son of Chashabyah, of the sons of Merari;
15 I Vakvakar i Eres i Galal i Matanija, sin Mihe sina Zihrija, sina Asafova;
And Bakbakkar, Cheresh, and Galal, and Matthanyah the son of Micha, the son of Zichri, the son of Assaph;
16 I Ovadija sin Semaje sina Galala, sina Jedutunova, i Varahija sin Ase sina Elkanina, koji stanovaše u selima Netofatskim.
And 'Obadiah the son of Shema'yah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechyah the son of Assa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 I vratari: Salum i Akuv i Talmon i Ahiman, i braæa njihova; a Salum bješe poglavar.
And the gatekeepers were Shallum, and 'Akkub, and Talmon, and Achiman, and their brethren, Shallum being the chief;
18 On do sada bijaše na vratima carskim k istoku; to bijahu vratari po èetama sinova Levijevih.
And up to this time they are in the king's gate to the eastward: they are the gatekeepers for the camps of the children of Levi.
19 A Salum sin Koreja sina Evijasafa, sina Korejeva, i braæa njegova od doma oca njegova, sinovi Korejevi, u poslu službenom èuvahu pragove kod šatora, kao što oci njihovi u okolu Gospodnjem èuvahu ulazak;
And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korchites, being over the work of the service, were the watchmen at the threshold of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the camp of the Lord, were the watchmen at the entrance [thereof].
20 A nad njima bješe starješina Fines sin Eleazarov, i Gospod bijaše s njim.
And Phinehas the son of El'azar was the ruler over them in times past; [and] the Lord was with him.
21 Zaharija sin Meselemijin bijaše vratar na vratima šatora od sastanka.
[And] Zechariah the son of Meshelemyah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22 Svijeh ovijeh izabranijeh za vratare na pragovima bijaše dvjesta i dvanaest; biše popisani po selima svojim; David i Samuilo vidjelac postaviše ih radi vjernosti njihove,
All of these selected to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were recorded according to their genealogy in their villages; [and they were] those [whom] David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their trust.
23 Da oni i sinovi njihovi èuvaju stražu na vratima doma Gospodnjega, doma od šatora.
Both they and their children had the oversight over the gates of the house of the Lord, [namely, ] the house of the tabernacle, as watches.
24 Na èetiri strane bijahu vratari: na istoku, na zapadu, na jugu i na sjeveru.
On four quarters were the gatekeepers, toward the east, the west, the north, and the south.
25 I braæa njihova po selima svojim dolažahu svakih sedam dana za svoje vrijeme da su s njima.
And their brethren, who were in their villages, had to come after every seven days from time to time in common with these.
26 Jer u službi bijahu svagda èetiri prva vratara, Levita, i bijahu postavljeni nad klijetima i nad riznicama doma Božijega;
For in [their] trust were these four chief gatekeepers— these Levites, and they were [appointed] over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27 I oko doma Božijega noæivahu, jer na njima bijaše straža i dužni bijahu otvorati svako jutro.
And they lodged round about the house of God; because upon them rested the duty of watching, and they had the supervision of the opening thereof each and every morning.
28 I neki od njih bijahu nad posuðem službenijem, jer ga na broj unošahu i na broj iznošahu.
And some of them had the charge of the vessels for the service; for by number did they bring them in, and by number did they carry them out.
29 A neki od njih bijahu postavljeni nad drugim stvarima i nad svijem stvarima posveæenijem, nad brašnom i vinom i uljem i kadom i mirisima.
Some of them also were appointed over the vessels, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 A neki sinovi sveštenièki gotovljahu mast od tijeh mirisa.
And some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixture of the spices.
31 A Matatija izmeðu Levita, prvenac Salumov od porodice Korejeve, bijaše nad stvarima koje se peku u tavi.
And Matthithyah, one of the Levites, who was the first-born of Shallum the Korchite, had the trust over the meat-offerings that were baked in the pans.
32 A izmeðu sinova Katovijeh, braæe njihove, bijahu neki nad hljebom postavljenijem, gotoveæi ga svake subote.
And others of their brethren, of the sons of the Kehathites, were over the orders of the shew-bread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33 Izmeðu njih bijahu i pjevaèi poglavari domova otaèkih meðu Levitima, koji stanovahu po klijetima bez drugoga posla, jer dan i noæ bijahu u svom poslu.
But these the singers, the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, remained in the chambers free of service; for day and night were they obliged to engage in that work.
34 To su poglavari domova otaèkih meðu Levitima, po porodicama svojim, poglavari, i življahu u Jerusalimu.
These are the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, being the chiefs for their generations: these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35 A u Gavaonu stanovaše Jehilo otac Gavaonu; a ime ženi njegovoj bješe Maha;
And in Gib'on dwelt the father of Gib'on, Je'iel; and the name of his wife was Ma'achah;
36 A sin mu prvenac bješe Avdon, pa Sur i Kis i Val i Nir i Nadav,
And his first-born son was 'Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Ba'al, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 I Gedor, i Ahijo i Zaharija i Miklot;
And Gedor, and Achyo, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 A Miklot rodi Simeama; i oni nastavahu prema braæi svojoj u Jerusalimu s braæom svojom.
And Mikloth begat Shimam. And they also dwelt alongside of their brethren at Jerusalem, with their brethren.
39 A Nir rodi Kisa; a Kis rodi Saula; a Saul rodi Jonatana i Malhisuja i Avinadava i Esvala.
And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jehonathan, and Malki-shua', and Abinadab, and Eshba'al.
40 A sin Jonatanov bješe Merival; a Merival rodi Mihu.
And the son of Jehonathan was Merib-ba'al: and Merib-ba'al begat Michah.
41 A sinovi Mišini bjehu: Fiton i Meleh i Tareja.
And the sons of Michah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Thachrea'.
42 A Ahaz rodi Jaru; a Jara rodi Alemeta i Azmaveta i Zimrija; a Zimrije rodi Mosu;
And Achaz begat Ja'rah; and Ja'rah begat 'Alemeth, 'Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
43 A Mosa rodi Vineju; a njegov sin bješe Refaja, a njegov sin Eleasa, a njegov sin Asilo.
And Moza begat Bin'a; ! and Rephayah his son, El'assah his son, Azel his son.
44 Asilo pak imaše šest sinova, kojima su imena: Azrikam, Voheruj i Ismailo i Searija i Ovadija i Anan. To su sinovi Asilovi.
And Azel had six sons, and these are their names, 'Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and She'aryah, and 'Obadiah, and Chanan: these were the sons of Azel.
