1 Sinovi Levijevi bijahu: Girson, Kat i Merarije.

Sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 A sinovi Katovi: Amram, Isar i Hevron i Ozilo.

And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 A sinovi Amramovi: Aron i Mojsije, i kæi Marija. A sinovi Aronovi: Nadav i Avijud i Eleazar i Itamar.

And sons of Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and [his daughter] Miriam. And sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

4 Eleazar rodi Finesa; a Fines rodi Avisuju;

Eleazar begot Phinehas, Phinehas begot Abishua,

5 A Avisuja rodi Vukija; a Vukije rodi Oziju;

and Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi,

6 A Ozija rodi Zeraju; a Zeraja rodi Merajota;

and Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth,

7 A Merajot rodi Amariju; a Amarija rodi Ahitova;

Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub,

8 A Ahitov rodi Sadoka; a Sadok rodi Ahimasa;

and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz,

9 A Ahimas rodi Azariju; a Azarija rodi Joanana;

and Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan,

10 A Joanan rodi Azariju, koji bi sveštenik u domu što sazida Solomun u Jerusalimu;

and Johanan begot Azariah—him who acted as priest in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

11 A Azarija rodi Amariju; a Amarija rodi Ahitova;

And Azariah begets Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub,

12 A Ahitov rodi Sadoka; a Sadok rodi Saluma;

and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum,

13 A Salum rodi Helkiju; a Helkija rodi Azariju;

and Shallum begot Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begot Azariah,

14 A Azarija rodi Seraju; a Seraja rodi Josedeka.

and Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak;

15 A Josedek otide kad Gospod preseli Judeje i Jerusalim rukom Navuhodonosorovom.

and Jehozadak has gone in YHWH’s removing Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 Sinovi Levijevi bijahu: Girson, Kat i Merarije.

Sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 A ovo su imena sinovima Girsonovijem: Lovenije i Simej.

And these [are] names of sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18 A sinovi Katovi bjehu: Amram i Isar i Hevron i Ozilo.

And sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 Sinovi Merarijevi: Molija i Musija. I ovo su porodice Levitske po ocima svojim:

Sons of Merari; Mahli and Mushi. And these [are] families of the Levite according to their fathers;

20 Girsonova: Lovenije sin mu, a njegov sin Jat, a njegov sin Zima,

of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 A njegov sin Joah, a njegov sin Ido, a njegov sin Zera, a njegov sin Jetraj.

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.

22 Sinovi Katovi: Aminadav sin mu, a njegov sin Korej, a njegov sin Asir.

Sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 A njegov sin Elkana, a njegov sin Evijasaf, a njegov sin Asir,

Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

24 A njegov sin Tahat, a njegov sin Urilo, a njegov sin Ozija, a njegov sin Saul.

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 A sinovi Elkanini: Amasaj i Ahimot,

And sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth.

26 Elkana; sinovi Elkanini: Sufija sin mu, a njegov sin Mahat;

Elkanah—sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

27 A njegov sin Elijav, a njegov sin Jeroam, a njegov sin Elkana.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

28 A sinovi Samuilovi: Vasnija prvenac, pa Avija.

And sons of Samuel: the firstborn Vashni, and the second Abijah.

29 Sinovi Merarijevi: Molija, a njegov sin Lovenije, a njegov sin Simej, a njegov sin Uza,

Sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 A njegov sin Simaja, a njegov sin Agija, a njegov sin Asaja.

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 A ovo su koje postavi David da pjevaju u domu Gospodnjem, kad se namjesti kovèeg,

And these [are] they whom David stationed over the parts of the song of the house of YHWH, from the resting of the Ark,

33 Ovi su što stajahu i sinovi njihovi: od sinova Katovijeh Eman pjevaè, sin Joila sina Samuila,

And these [are] those standing, and their sons, of the sons of the Kohathite: Heman the singer, son of Joel, son of Shemuel,

34 Sina Elkane, sina Jeroama, sina Elila, sina Toje,

son of Elkanah, son of Jeroham, son of Eliel, son of Toah,

35 Sina Sufa, sina Elkane, sina Mata, sina Amasaja,

son of Zuph, son of Elkanah, son of Mahath, son of Amasai,

36 Sina Elkane, sina Joila, sina Azarije, sina Sofonije,

son of Elkanah, son of Joel, son of Azariah, son of Zephaniah,

37 Sina Tahate, sina Asira, sina Aviasafa, sina Koreja,

son of Tahath, son of Assir, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah,

38 Sina Isara, sina Kata, sina Levija, sina Izrailjeva.

son of Izhar, son of Kohath, son of Levi, son of Israel.

39 I brat mu Asaf, koji mu stajaše s desne strane; a Asaf bijaše sin Varahije, sina Simeje,

And his brother Asaph, who is standing on his right—Asaph, son of Berachiah, son of Shimea,

40 Sina Mihaila, sina Vasije, sina Malhije,

son of Michael, son of Baaseiah, son of Malchiah,

41 Sina Etnija, sina Zera, sina Adaje,

son of Ethni, son of Zerah, son of Adaiah,

42 Sina Etana, sina Zime, sina Simeja,

son of Ethan, son of Zimmah, son of Shimei,

43 Sina Jata, sina Girsona, sina Levijeva.

son of Jahath, son of Gershom, son of Levi.

44 A sinovi Merarijevi, braæa njihova, stajahu s lijeve strane: Etan sin Kisije, sina Avdija, sina Maluha,

And sons of Merari, their brothers, on the left: Ethan son of Kishi, son of Abdi, son of Malluch,

45 Sina Asavije, sina Amasije, sina Helkije,

son of Hashabiah, son of Amaziah, son of Hilkiah,

46 Sina Amsije, sina Vanije, sina Samira,

son of Amzi, son of Bani, son of Shamer,

47 Sina Molije, sina Musije, sina Merarija, sina Levijeva.

son of Mahli, son of Mushi, son of Merari, son of Levi.

48 A braæa njihova, ostali Leviti, biše odreðeni na svu službu u šatoru doma Božijega.

And their brothers the Levites are put to all the service of the Dwelling Place of the house of God.

49 A Aron i sinovi njegovi paljahu na oltaru za žrtve paljenice i na oltaru kadionom, vršeæi sve poslove u svetinji nad svetinjama, i èineæi oèišæenje za Izrailja po svemu kako je zapovjedio Mojsije sluga Božji.

And Aaron and his sons are making incense on the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of the incense, for all the work of the Holy of Holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses servant of God commanded.

53 A njegov sin Sadok, a njegov sin Ahimas.

54 A ovo su im stanovi po gradovima njihovijem u meðama njihovijem: sinovima Aronovijem od porodice Katove dopade ždrijebom,

And these [are] their dwellings, throughout their towers, in their borders, of the sons of Aaron, of the family of the Kohathite, for the lot was theirs;

55 I dadoše im Hevron u zemlji Judinoj, i podgraða njegova oko njega;

and they give to them Hebron in the land of Judah and its outskirts around it;

and they gave the field of the city and its villages to Caleb son of Jephunneh.

And they gave the cities of refuge to the sons of Aaron: Hebron, and Libnah and its outskirts, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa and its outskirts,

and Hilen and its outskirts, Debir and its outskirts,

59 I Asan i podgraða njegova, i Vet-Semes i podgraða njegova;

and Ashan and its outskirts, and Beth-Shemesh and its outskirts.

60 A od plemena Venijaminova: Gavaju i podgraða njezina, i Alemet i podgraða njegova, i Anatot i podgraða njegova; svega gradova njihovijeh trinaest po porodicama njihovijem.

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba and its outskirts, and Allemeth and its outskirts, and Anathoth and its outskirts. All their cities [are] thirteen cities among their families.

61 I ostalijem sinovima Katovijem od porodice toga plemena daše ždrijebom od polovine plemena, od polovine Manasijine deset gradova.

And to the sons of Kohath, those left of the family of the tribe, from the half of the tribe, the half of Manasseh, by lot, [are] ten cities.

62 A sinovima Girsonovijem po porodicama njihovijem trinaest gradova od plemena Isaharova i od plemena Asirova i od plemena Neftalimova i od plemena Manasijina u Vasanu.

And to the sons of Gershom, for their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, [are] thirteen cities.

63 Sinovima Merarijevim po porodicama njihovijem daše ždrijebom od plemena Ruvimova i od plemena Gadova i od plemena Zavulonova dvanaest gradova.

To the sons of Merari, for their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, by lot, [are] twelve cities.

64 Tako daše sinovi Izrailjevi Levitima te gradove i podgraða njihova.

And the sons of Israel give the cities and their outskirts to the Levites.

65 I daše ždrijebom od plemena sinova Judinijeh i od plemena sinova Simeunovijeh i od plemena sinova Venijaminovijeh te gradove, koje imenovaše poimence.

And they give by lot from the tribe of the sons of Judah, and from the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and from the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name;

66 I onima koji bijahu od roda sinova Katovijeh a gradovi njihovi i meðe njihove bijahu u plemenu Jefremovu,

and some of the families of the sons of Kohath have cities of their border from the tribe of Ephraim;

67 Njima daše grad za utoèište Sihem i podgraða njegova u gori Jefremovoj, i Gezer i podgraða njegova,

and they give the cities of refuge to them: Shechem and its outskirts in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its outskirts,

68 I Jokmeam i podgraða njegova, i Vet-Oron i podgraða njegova,

and Jokmeam and its outskirts, and Beth-Horan and its outskirts,

69 I Ejalon i podgraða njegova, i Gat-Rimon i podgraða njegova,

and Aijalon and its outskirts, and Gath-Rimmon and its outskirts;

70 I od polovine plemena Manasijina Anir i podgraða njegova, i Vileam i podgraða njegova, porodicama sinova Katovijeh ostalijem.

and from the half tribe of Manasseh: Aner and its outskirts, and Bileam and its outskirts, for the family of the sons of Kohath who are left.

71 A sinovima Girsonovijem daše od porodice polovine plemena Manasijina Golan u Vasanu i podgraða njegova, i Astarot i podgraða njegova;

To the sons of Gershom from the family of the half of the tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan and its outskirts, and Ashtaroth and its outskirts;

72 A od plemena Isaharova Kedes i podgraða njegova, Davrat i podgraða njegova,

and from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh and its outskirts, Daberath and its outskirts,

73 I Ramot i podgraða njegova, i Anim i podgraða njegova;

and Ramoth and its outskirts, and Anem and its outskirts;

74 A od plemena Asirova Masal i podgraða njegova, i Avdon i podgraða njegova,

and from the tribe of Asher: Mashal and its outskirts, and Abdon and its outskirts,

75 I Hukok i podgraða njegova, i Reov i podgraða njegova;

and Hukok and its outskirts, and Rehob and its outskirts;

76 A od plemena Neftalimova Kedes u Galileji i podgraða njegova, i Amon i podgraða njegova, i Kirijatajim i podgraða njegova.

and from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee and its outskirts, and Hammon and its outskirts, and Kirjathaim and its outskirts.

77 Sinovima Merarijevim ostalijem daše od plemena Zavulonova Rimon i podgraða njegova, Tavor i podgraða njegova;

To the sons of Merari who are left, from the tribe of Zebulun: Rimmon and its outskirts, Tabor and its outskirts;

78 A preko Jordana prema Jerihonu na istoènoj strani Jordana, od plemena Ruvimova Vosor u pustinji i podgraða njegova, i Jasu i podgraða njezina,

and from beyond the Jordan by Jericho, at the east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness and its outskirts, and Jahzah and its outskirts,

79 I Kedimot i podgraða njegova, i Mifat i podgraða njegova;

and Kedemoth and its outskirts, and Mephaath and its outskirts;

80 A od plemena Gadova Ramot u Galadu i podgraða njegova, i Mahanajim i podgraða njegova,

and from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead and its outskirts, and Mahanaim and its outskirts,

81 I Esevon i podgraða njegova, i Jazir i podgraða njegova.

and Heshbon and its outskirts, and Jazer and its outskirts.
