1 A poslije toga pobi David Filisteje i pokori ih, i uze Gat i sela njegova iz ruku Filistejskih.
And after this Dauid smote the Philistims, and subdued them, and tooke Gath, and the villages thereof out of the hand of the Philistims.
2 Pobi i Moavce, i postaše Moavci sluge Davidove i plaæahu mu danak.
And he smote Moab, and the Moabites became Dauids seruants, and brought giftes.
3 Razbi David i Adar-Ezera cara Sovskoga u Ematu izašav da raširi vlast svoju do rijeke Efrata.
And Dauid smote Hadarezer King of Zobah vnto Hamath, as he went to stablish his border by the riuer Perath.
4 I uze mu David tisuæu kola i sedam tisuæa konjika i dvadeset tisuæa pješaka, i podreza David žile svijem konjma kolskim, samo ostavi za sto kola.
And Dauid tooke from him a thousand charets, and seuen thousand horsemen, and twentie thousand footemen, and destroyed all the charets, but he reserued of them an hundreth charets.
5 A bijahu došli Sirci iz Damaska u pomoæ Adar-Ezeru caru Sovskomu, i David pobi dvadeset i dvije tisuæe Siraca.
Then came the Aramites of Damascus to succour Hadarezer King of Zobah, but Dauid slewe of the Aramites two and twentie thousand.
6 I namjesti David vojsku u Siriji što je pod Damaskom, i Sirci postaše sluge Davidove plaæajuæi mu danak. I Gospod èuvaše Davida kuda god iðaše.
And Dauid put a garison in Aram of Damascus, and the Aramites became Dauids seruants, and brought giftes: and the Lord preserued Dauid wheresoeuer he went.
7 I David uze zlatne štitove koje imahu sluge Adar-Ezerove, i donese ih u Jerusalim.
And Dauid tooke the shieldes of gold that were of the seruants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Ierusalem.
8 I iz Tivata i iz Huna gradova Adar-Ezerovijeh odnese David silnu mjed, od koje Solomun naèini more mjedeno i stupove i posuðe mjedeno.
And from Tibhath, and from Chun (cities of Hadarezer) brought Dauid exceeding much brasse, wherewith Salomon made the brasen Sea, and the pillars and the vessels of brasse.
9 A kad èu Toja car Ematski da je David pobio svu vojsku Adar-Ezera cara Sovskoga,
Then Tou King of Hamath heard howe Dauid had smitten all the hoste of Hadarezer King of Zobah:
10 Posla Adorama sina svojega k caru Davidu da ga pozdravi i da mu èestita što je vojevao na Adar-Ezera i ubio ga, jer Toja imaše rat s Adar-Ezerom, i svakojakih zaklada zlatnijeh i srebrnijeh i mjedenijeh.
Therefore he sent Hadoram his sonne to King Dauid, to salute him, and to reioyce with him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and beaten him (for Tou had warre with Hadarezer) who brought all vessels of golde and siluer and brasse.
11 Pa i to car David posveti Gospodu sa srebrom i zlatom što bješe uzeo od svijeh naroda, od Edomaca i od Moavaca i od sinova Amonovijeh i od Filisteja i od Amalika.
And King Dauid did dedicate them vnto the Lord, with the siluer and golde that hee brought from all the nations, from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistims, and from Amalek.
12 I Avisaj sin Serujin pobi osamnaest tisuæa Idumejaca u slanoj dolini.
And Abishai the sonne of Zeruiah smote of Edom in the salt valley eighteene thousand,
13 I namjesti vojsku po Idumeji, i svi Idumejci postaše sluge Davidove. I Gospod èuvaše Davida kuda god iðaše.
And he put a garison in Edom, and all the Edomites became Dauids seruantes: and the Lord preserued Dauid wheresoeuer he went.
14 Tako carova David nad svijem Izrailjem sudeæi i dajuæi pravdu svemu narodu svojemu.
So Dauid reigned ouer all Israel, and executed iudgement and iustice to all his people.
15 I Joav sin Serujin bješe nad vojskom, a Josafat sin Ahiludov pametar,
And Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah was ouer the hoste, and Iehoshaphat the sonne of Ahilud recorder,
16 A Sadok sin Ahitovov i Avimeleh sin Avijatarov sveštenici, a Susa pisar,
And Zadok the sonne of Ahitub, and Abimelech the sonne of Abiathar were the Priests, and Shausha the Scribe,
17 A Venaja sin Jodajev bješe nad Heretejima i Feletejima, a sinovi Davidovi prvi do cara.
And Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada was ouer the Cherethites and the Pelethites: and the sonnes of Dauid were chiefe about the King.
