1 I naèini sebi David kuæe u gradu Davidovu, i spremi mjesto za kovèeg Božji, i razape mu šator.
And he made for himself houses in [the] city of David and he prepared a place for [the] ark of God and he pitched for it a tent.
2 Tada reèe David: ne valja da nosi kovèeg Božji niko osim Levita, jer je njih izabrao Gospod da nose kovèeg Božji i da mu služe dovijeka.
Then he said David not to carry [the] ark of God that except the Levites for them - he had chosen Yahweh to carry [the] ark of Yahweh and to serve him until perpetuity.
3 I skupi David sve sinove Izrailjeve u Jerusalim da prenesu kovèeg Gospodnji na mjesto njegovo, koje mu bješe spremio.
And he assembled David all Israel to Jerusalem to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh to place its which he had prepared for it.
4 Skupi David i sinove Aronove i Levite,
And he gathered David [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites.
5 Od sinova Katovijeh: Urila poglavara i braæe njegove sto i dvadeset;
Of [the] descendants of Kohath Uriel the leader and relatives his one hundred and twenty.
6 Od sinova Merarijevih: Asaju poglavara i braæe njegove dvjesta i dvadeset;
Of [the] descendants of Merari Asaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred and twenty.
7 Od sinova Girsonovijeh: Joila poglavara i braæe njegove sto i trideset;
Of [the] descendants of Gershom Joel the leader and relatives his one hundred and thirty.
8 Od sinova Elisafanovih: Semaju poglavara i braæe njegove dvjesta;
Of [the] descendants of Elizaphan Shemaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred.
9 Od sinova Hevronovijeh: Elila poglavara i braæe njegove osamdeset;
Of [the] descendants of Hebron Eliel the leader and relatives his eighty.
10 Od sinova Ozilovijeh: Aminadava poglavara i braæe njegove sto i dvanaest.
Of [the] descendants of Uzziel Amminadab the leader and relatives his one hundred and two [plus] ten.
11 Tada dozva David Sadoka i Avijatara sveštenike, i Levite Urila i Asaju i Joila i Samaju i Elila i Aminadava,
And he summoned David Zadok and Abiathar the priests and the Levites Uriel Asaiah and Joel Shemaiah and Eliel and Amminadab.
12 I reèe im: vi ste poglavari porodica otaèkih meðu Levitima; osveštajte sebe i braæu svoju, da donesete kovèeg Gospoda Boga Izrailjeva na mjesto koje sam mu spremio.
And he said to them you [are] [the] chiefs of the fathers of the Levites consecrate yourselves you and relatives your and you will bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel to [where] I have prepared for it.
13 Jer što preðe ne uèiniste toga, Gospod Bog naš prodrije nas; jer ga ne tražismo kako treba.
For to what? at the first [time] not you he burst out Yahweh God our against us for not we sought him according to the ordinance.
14 I osveštaše se sveštenici i Leviti da prenesu kovèeg Gospoda Boga Izrailjeva.
And they consecrated themselves the priests and the Levites to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
15 I nosiše sinovi Levitski kovèeg Božji kao što je zapovjedio Mojsije po rijeèi Gospodnjoj na ramenima svojim i polugama.
And they carried [the] descendants of the Levites [the] ark of God just as he had commanded Moses according to [the] word of Yahweh on shoulders their with poles on them.
16 I reèe David poglavarima Levitskim da postave izmeðu braæe svoje pjevaèe sa spravama muzièkim, sa psaltirima i guslama i kimvalima, da pjevaju u glas veselo.
And he said David to [the] leaders of the Levites to appoint relatives their the singers with instruments of song lyres and harps and cymbals sounding aloud to raise a sound of joy.
17 I postaviše Leviti Emana sina Joilova, i od braæe njegove Asafa sina Varahijina, i od sinova Merarijevih, braæe njihove, Etana sina Kisajina;
And they appointed the Levites Heman [the] son of Joel and of relatives his Asaph [the] son of Berekiah. And of [the] descendants of Merari relatives their Ethan [the] son of Kushaiah.
18 I s njima braæu njihovu drugoga reda: Zahariju i Vena i Jazila i Semiramota i Jehila i Unija i Elijava i Venaju i Masiju i Matatiju i Elifela i Mikneju i Ovid-Edoma i Jeila, vratare.
And with them relatives their the second in rank Zechariah Ben and Jaaziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel - and Unni Eliab and Benaiah and Maaseiah and Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel the gatekeepers.
19 I pjevaèi Eman i Asaf i Etan udarahu u kimvale mjedene;
And the singers Heman Asaph and Ethan with cymbals bronze [were] to sound aloud.
20 A Zaharija i Ozilo i Semiramot i Jehilo i Unije i Elijav i Masija i Venaja u psaltire visoko,
And Zechariah and Aziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Unni and Eliab and Maaseiah and Benaiah with lyres on alamoth.
21 A Matatija i Elifel i Mikneja i Ovid-Edom i Jeilo i Azazija u gusle nisko.
And Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel and Azaziah with harps on the sheminith to act as overseers.
22 A Henanija poglavar meðu Levitima koji nošahu kovèeg ureðivaše kako æe se nositi, jer bješe vješt.
And Kenaniah [the] leader of the Levites in a lifting up an instructor in the lifting up for [was] a teacher he.
23 A Varahija i Elkana bjehu vratari kod kovèega.
And Berekiah and Elkanah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.
24 A Sevanija i Josafat i Natanailo i Amasaj i Zaharija i Venaja i Elijezer, sveštenici, trubljahu u trube pred kovèegom Božjim; a Ovid-Edom i Jehija bjehu vratari kod kovèega.
And Shebaniah and Joshaphat and Nethanel and Amasai and Zechariah and Benaiah and Eliezer the priests ([were] blowing a trumpet *Q(k)*) on trumpets before [the] ark of God and Obed-Edom and Jehiah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.
25 I tako David i starješine Izrailjeve i tisuænici iðahu prateæi kovèeg zavjeta Gospodnjega iz kuæe Ovid-Edomove s veseljem.
And it was David and [the] elders of Israel and [the] leaders of the thousands [were] the [ones who] went to bring up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] house of Obed-Edom with joy.
26 I kad Bog pomože Levitima koji nošahu kovèeg zavjeta Gospodnjega prinesoše sedam volova i sedam ovnova.
And it was because helped God the Levites [the] bearers of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and they sacrificed seven young bulls and seven rams.
27 I David bijaše ogrnut plaštem od tankoga platna, tako i svi Leviti koji nošahu kovèeg i pjevaèi, i Henanija koji upravljaše nosiocima meðu pjevaèima. I David imaše na sebi opleæak lanen.
And David [was] wrapped - in a robe of fine linen and all the Levites who were carrying the ark and the singers and Kenaniah the leader the lifting up the singers and [was] on David an ephod of linen.
28 I tako sav narod Izrailjev praæaše kovèeg zavjeta Gospodnjega klikujuæi i trubeæi u trube i u rogove i udarajuæi u kimvale i u psaltire i u gusle.
And all Israel [was] bringing up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh with a shout and with [the] sound of a ram's horn and with trumpets and with cymbals sounding aloud with lyres and harps.
29 A kad kovèeg zavjeta Gospodnjega ulažaše u grad Davidov, Mihala kæi Saulova gledajuæi s prozora vidje cara Davida gdje skaèe i igra, i podrugnu mu se u srcu svom.
And it was [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh [was] coming to [the] city of David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she looked down - through the window and she saw the king David dancing and making merry and she despised him in heart her.
