< مارْکَح 8 >

تَدا تَتْسَمِیپَں بَہَوو لوکا آیاتا اَتَسْتیشاں بھوجْیَدْرَوْیابھاوادْ یِیشُح شِشْیاناہُویَ جَگادَ،۔ 1
In those days, when there was a large crowd, and they had nothing to eat, he called the talmidim to himself, and said to them,
لوکَنِوَہے مَمَ کرِپا جایَتے تے دِنَتْرَیَں مَیا سارْدّھَں سَنْتِ تیشاں بھوجْیَں کِمَپِ ناسْتِ۔ 2
"I have compassion on the crowd, because they have stayed with me now three days, and have nothing to eat.
تیشاں مَدھْیےنیکے دُورادْ آگَتاح، اَبھُکْتیشُ تیشُ مَیا سْوَگرِہَمَبھِپْرَہِتیشُ تے پَتھِ کْلَمِشْیَنْتِ۔ 3
If I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way, and some of them have come a long way."
شِشْیا اَوادِشُح، ایتاوَتو لوکانْ تَرْپَیِتُمْ اَتْرَ پْرَنْتَرے پُوپانْ پْراپْتُں کینَ شَکْیَتے؟ 4
His talmidim answered him, "From where could one satisfy these people with bread here in a deserted place?"
تَتَح سَ تانْ پَپْرَچّھَ یُشْماکَں کَتِ پُوپاح سَنْتِ؟ تےکَتھَیَنْ سَپْتَ۔ 5
He asked them, "How many loaves do you have?" They said, "Seven."
تَتَح سَ تالّوکانْ بھُوِ سَمُپَویشْٹُمْ آدِشْیَ تانْ سَپْتَ پُوپانْ دھرِتْوا اِیشْوَرَگُنانْ اَنُکِیرْتَّیاماسَ، بھَںکْتْوا پَرِویشَیِتُں شِشْیانْ پْرَتِ دَدَو، تَتَسْتے لوکیبھْیَح پَرِویشَیاماسُح۔ 6
He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves. Having given thanks, he broke them, and gave them to his talmidim to serve, and they served the crowd.
تَتھا تیشاں سَمِیپے یے کْشُدْرَمَتْسْیا آسَنْ تانَپْیادایَ اِیشْوَرَگُنانْ سَںکِیرْتْیَ پَرِویشَیِتُمْ آدِشْٹَوانْ۔ 7
They had a few small fish. Having blessed them, he said to serve these also.
تَتو لوکا بھُکْتْوا ترِپْتِں گَتا اَوَشِشْٹَکھادْیَیح پُورْناح سَپْتَڈَلَّکا گرِہِیتاشْچَ۔ 8
They ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over.
ایتے بھوکْتارَح پْرایَشْچَتُح سَہَسْرَپُرُشا آسَنْ تَتَح سَ تانْ وِسَسَرْجَ۔ 9
Now they were about four thousand. Then he sent them away.
اَتھَ سَ شِشْیَح سَہَ ناوَمارُہْیَ دَلْمانُوتھاسِیماماگَتَح۔ 10
Immediately he entered into the boat with his talmidim, and came into the region of Dalmanutha.
تَتَح پَرَں پھِرُوشِنَ آگَتْیَ تینَ سَہَ وِوَدَماناسْتَسْیَ پَرِیکْشارْتھَمْ آکاشِییَچِہْنَں دْرَشْٹُں یاچِتَوَنْتَح۔ 11
The Pharisees came out and began to question him, seeking from him a sign from heaven, and testing him.
تَدا سونْتَرْدِیرْگھَں نِشْوَسْیاکَتھَیَتْ، ایتے وِدْیَمانَنَراح کُتَشْچِنْہَں مرِگَیَنْتے؟ یُشْمانَہَں یَتھارْتھَں بْرَوِیمِ لوکانیتانْ کِمَپِ چِہْنَں نَ دَرْشَیِشْیَتے۔ 12
He sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation."
اَتھَ تانْ ہِتْوا پُنَ رْناوَمْ آرُہْیَ پارَمَگاتْ۔ 13
And he left them, and got into the boat again, and went to the other side.
ایتَرْہِ شِشْیَیح پُوپیشُ وِسْمرِتیشُ ناوِ تیشاں سَنِّدھَو پُوپَ ایکَایوَ سْتھِتَح۔ 14
Now they forgot to take bread; and they did not have more than one loaf in the boat with them.
تَدانِیں یِیشُسْتانْ آدِشْٹَوانْ پھِرُوشِناں ہیرودَشْچَ کِنْوَں پْرَتِ سَتَرْکاح ساوَدھاناشْچَ بھَوَتَ۔ 15
He warned them, saying, "Watch out; guard yourselves against the hametz of the Pharisees and the hametz of Herod."
تَتَسْتےنْیونْیَں وِویچَنَں کَرْتُمْ آریبھِرے، اَسْماکَں سَنِّدھَو پُوپو ناسْتِیتِ ہیتورِدَں کَتھَیَتِ۔ 16
And they began discussing among themselves that they had no bread.
تَدْ بُدْوّا یِیشُسْتیبھْیوکَتھَیَتْ یُشْماکَں سْتھانے پُوپابھاواتْ کُتَ اِتّھَں وِتَرْکَیَتھَ؟ یُویَں کِمَدْیاپِ کِمَپِ نَ جانِیتھَ؟ بودّھُنْچَ نَ شَکْنُتھَ؟ یاوَدَدْیَ کِں یُشْماکَں مَناںسِ کَٹھِنانِ سَنْتِ؟ 17
He, perceiving it, said to them, "Why do you reason that it's because you have no bread? Do you not perceive yet, neither understand? Are your hearts hardened?
سَتْسُ نیتْریشُ کِں نَ پَشْیَتھَ؟ سَتْسُ کَرْنیشُ کِں نَ شرِنُتھَ؟ نَ سْمَرَتھَ چَ؟ 18
Having eyes, do you not see? Having ears, do you not hear? Do you not remember?
یَداہَں پَنْچَپُوپانْ پَنْچَسَہَسْراناں پُرُشاناں مَدھْیے بھَںکْتْوا دَتَّوانْ تَدانِیں یُویَمْ اَوَشِشْٹَپُوپَیح پُورْنانْ کَتِ ڈَلَّکانْ گرِہِیتَوَنْتَح؟ تےکَتھَیَنْ دْوادَشَڈَلَّکانْ۔ 19
When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" They told him, "Twelve."
اَپَرَنْچَ یَدا چَتُحسَہَسْراناں پُرُشاناں مَدھْیے پُوپانْ بھَںکْتْوادَداں تَدا یُویَمْ اَتِرِکْتَپُوپاناں کَتِ ڈَلَّکانْ گرِہِیتَوَنْتَح؟ تے کَتھَیاماسُح سَپْتَڈَلَّکانْ۔ 20
"When the seven loaves fed the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" And they said, "Seven."
تَدا سَ کَتھِتَوانْ تَرْہِ یُویَمْ اَدھُناپِ کُتو بودْوُّں نَ شَکْنُتھَ؟ 21
He asked them, "Do you not yet understand?"
اَنَنْتَرَں تَسْمِنْ بَیتْسَیدانَگَرے پْراپْتے لوکا اَنْدھَمیکَں نَرَں تَتْسَمِیپَمانِییَ تَں سْپْرَشْٹُں تَں پْرارْتھَیانْچَکْرِرے۔ 22
He came to Beit Tzaidah. They brought a blind man to him, and begged Yeshua to touch him.
تَدا تَسْیانْدھَسْیَ کَرَو گرِہِیتْوا نَگَرادْ بَہِرْدیشَں تَں نِیتَوانْ؛ تَنّیتْرے نِشْٹھِیوَں دَتّوا تَدْگاتْرے ہَسْتاوَرْپَیِتْوا تَں پَپْرَچّھَ، کِمَپِ پَشْیَسِ؟ 23
He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.
سَ نیتْرے اُنْمِیلْیَ جَگادَ، ورِکْشَوَتْ مَنُجانْ گَچّھَتو نِرِیکْشے۔ 24
He looked up, and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking."
تَتو یِیشُح پُنَسْتَسْیَ نَیَنَیو رْہَسْتاوَرْپَیِتْوا تَسْیَ نیتْرے اُنْمِیلَیاماسَ؛ تَسْماتْ سَ سْوَسْتھو بھُوتْوا سْپَشْٹَرُوپَں سَرْوَّلوکانْ دَدَرْشَ۔ 25
Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He made him look up, and was restored, and saw everything clearly.
تَتَح پَرَں تْوَں گْرامَں ما گَچّھَ گْرامَسْتھَں کَمَپِ چَ کِمَپْیَنُکْتْوا نِجَگرِہَں یاہِیتْیادِشْیَ یِیشُسْتَں نِجَگرِہَں پْرَہِتَوانْ۔ 26
He sent him away to his house, saying, "Do not enter into the village."
اَنَنْتَرَں شِشْیَیح سَہِتو یِیشُح کَیسَرِییاپھِلِپِپُرَں جَگامَ، پَتھِ گَچّھَنْ تانَپرِچّھَتْ کوہَمْ اَتْرَ لوکاح کِں وَدَنْتِ؟ 27
Yeshua went out, with his talmidim, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his talmidim, "Who do people say that I am?"
تے پْرَتْیُوچُح تْواں یوہَنَں مَجَّکَں وَدَنْتِ کِنْتُ کیپِ کیپِ ایلِیَں وَدَنْتِ؛ اَپَرے کیپِ کیپِ بھَوِشْیَدْوادِنامْ ایکو جَنَ اِتِ وَدَنْتِ۔ 28
And they said to him, saying, "John the Immerser, and others say Elijah, but others: one of the prophets."
اَتھَ سَ تانَپرِچّھَتْ کِنْتُ کوہَمْ؟ اِتْیَتْرَ یُویَں کِں وَدَتھَ؟ تَدا پِتَرَح پْرَتْیَوَدَتْ بھَوانْ اَبھِشِکْتَسْتْراتا۔ 29
He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered and said to him, "You are the Messiah."
تَتَح سَ تانْ گاڈھَمادِشَدْ یُویَں مَمَ کَتھا کَسْمَیچِدَپِ ما کَتھَیَتَ۔ 30
He commanded them that they should tell no one about him.
مَنُشْیَپُتْریناوَشْیَں بَہَوو یاتَنا بھوکْتَوْیاح پْراچِینَلوکَیح پْرَدھانَیاجَکَیرَدھْیاپَکَیشْچَ سَ نِنْدِتَح سَنْ گھاتَیِشْیَتے ترِتِییَدِنے اُتّھاسْیَتِ چَ، یِیشُح شِشْیانُپَدیشْٹُمارَبھْیَ کَتھامِماں سْپَشْٹَماچَشْٹَ۔ 31
He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, the chief cohanim, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
تَسْماتْ پِتَرَسْتَسْیَ ہَسْتَو دھرِتْوا تَں تَرْجِّتَوانْ۔ 32
He spoke to them openly. Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
کِنْتُ سَ مُکھَں پَراوَرْتْیَ شِشْیَگَنَں نِرِیکْشْیَ پِتَرَں تَرْجَیِتْواوادِیدْ دُورِیبھَوَ وِگھْنَکارِنْ اِیشْوَرِییَکارْیّادَپِ مَنُشْیَکارْیَّں تُبھْیَں روچَتَتَراں۔ 33
But he, turning around, and seeing his talmidim, rebuked Peter, and said, "Get behind me, Satan. For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of humans."
اَتھَ سَ لوکانْ شِشْیاںشْچاہُویَ جَگادَ یَح کَشْچِنْ مامَنُگَنْتُمْ اِچّھَتِ سَ آتْمانَں دامْیَتُ، سْوَکْرُشَں گرِہِیتْوا مَتْپَشْچادْ آیاتُ۔ 34
He called the crowd to himself with his talmidim, and said to them, "If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
یَتو یَح کَشْچِتْ سْوَپْرانَں رَکْشِتُمِچّھَتِ سَ تَں ہارَیِشْیَتِ، کِنْتُ یَح کَشْچِنْ مَدَرْتھَں سُسَںوادارْتھَنْچَ پْرانَں ہارَیَتِ سَ تَں رَکْشِشْیَتِ۔ 35
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
اَپَرَنْچَ مَنُجَح سَرْوَّں جَگَتْ پْراپْیَ یَدِ سْوَپْرانَں ہارَیَتِ تَرْہِ تَسْیَ کو لابھَح؟ 36
For what does it profit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
نَرَح سْوَپْرانَوِنِمَیینَ کِں داتُں شَکْنوتِ؟ 37
Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
ایتیشاں وْیَبھِچارِناں پاپِنانْچَ لوکاناں ساکْشادْ یَدِ کوپِ ماں مَتْکَتھانْچَ لَجّاسْپَدَں جاناتِ تَرْہِ مَنُجَپُتْرو یَدا دھَرْمَّدُوتَیح سَہَ پِتُح پْرَبھاویناگَمِشْیَتِ تَدا سوپِ تَں لَجّاسْپَدَں جْناسْیَتِ۔ 38
For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."
