< مارْکَح 7 >

اَنَنْتَرَں یِرُوشالَمَ آگَتاح پھِرُوشِنودھْیاپَکاشْچَ یِیشوح سَمِیپَمْ آگَتاح۔ 1
Then the Pharisees, and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Urishlim.
تے تَسْیَ کِیَتَح شِشْیانْ اَشُچِکَرَیرَرْتھادَ اَپْرَکْشالِتَہَسْتَے رْبھُنْجَتو درِشْٹْوا تانَدُوشَیَنْ۔ 2
Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed, hands, they found fault.
یَتَح پھِرُوشِنَح سَرْوَّیِہُودِییاشْچَ پْراچاں پَرَمْپَراگَتَواکْیَں سَمَّنْیَ پْرَتَلینَ ہَسْتانْ اَپْرَکْشالْیَ نَ بھُنْجَتے۔ 3
(For the Pharisees, and all Jewish people, do not eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the Tradition of the Elders.
آپَناداگَتْیَ مَجَّنَں وِنا نَ کھادَنْتِ؛ تَتھا پانَپاتْراناں جَلَپاتْراناں پِتَّلَپاتْرانامْ آسَنانانْچَ جَلے مَجَّنَمْ اِتْیادَیونْییپِ بَہَوَسْتیشاماچاراح سَنْتِ۔ 4
They do not eat when they come from the marketplace unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold to, the washing of cups and pitchers and copper vessels and dining couches.)
تے پھِرُوشِنودھْیاپَکاشْچَ یِیشُں پَپْرَچّھُح، تَوَ شِشْیاح پْراچاں پَرَمْپَراگَتَواکْیانُسارینَ ناچَرَنْتوپْرَکْشالِتَکَرَیح کُتو بھُجَںتے؟ 5
The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, "Why do your disciples not walk according to the Tradition of the Elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?"
تَتَح سَ پْرَتْیُواچَ کَپَٹِنو یُشْمانْ اُدِّشْیَ یِشَیِیَبھَوِشْیَدْوادِی یُکْتَمَوادِیتْ۔ یَتھا سْوَکِییَیرَدھَرَیریتے سَمَّنْیَنَتے سَدَیوَ ماں۔ کِنْتُ مَتّو وِپْرَکَرْشے سَنْتِ تیشاں مَناںسِ چَ۔ 6
He said to them, "Well did Eshaya prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
شِکْشَیَنْتو بِدھِینْ نّاجْنا بھَجَنْتے ماں مُدھَیوَ تے۔ 7
And in vain do they worship me, teaching instructions that are the commandments of humans.'
یُویَں جَلَپاتْرَپانَپاتْرادِینِ مَجَّیَنْتو مَنُجَپَرَمْپَراگَتَواکْیَں رَکْشَتھَ کِنْتُ اِیشْوَراجْناں لَںگھَدھْوے؛ اَپَرا اِیدرِشْیونیکاح کْرِیا اَپِ کُرُدھْوے۔ 8
"For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to human tradition."
اَنْیَنْچاکَتھَیَتْ یُویَں سْوَپَرَمْپَراگَتَواکْیَسْیَ رَکْشارْتھَں سْپَشْٹَرُوپینَ اِیشْوَراجْناں لوپَیَتھَ۔ 9
He said to them, "Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may establish your tradition.
یَتو مُوسادْوارا پْروکْتَمَسْتِ سْوَپِتَرَو سَمَّنْیَدھْوَں یَسْتُ ماتَرَں پِتَرَں وا دُرْوّاکْیَں وَکْتِ سَ نِتانْتَں ہَنْیَتاں۔ 10
For Mushe said, 'Honor your father and your mother;' and, 'Anyone who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'
کِنْتُ مَدِییینَ یینَ دْرَوْیینَ تَووپَکاروبھَوَتْ تَتْ کَرْبّانَمَرْتھادْ اِیشْوَرایَ نِویدِتَمْ اِدَں واکْیَں یَدِ کوپِ پِتَرَں ماتَرَں وا وَکْتِ 11
But you say, 'If anyone tells his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban, that is to say, given to God;"'
تَرْہِ یُویَں ماتُح پِتُ رْووپَکارَں کَرْتّاں تَں وارَیَتھَ۔ 12
then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
اِتّھَں سْوَپْرَچارِتَپَرَمْپَراگَتَواکْیینَ یُویَمْ اِیشْوَراجْناں مُدھا وِدھَدْوّے، اِیدرِشانْیَنْیانْیَنیکانِ کَرْمّانِ کُرُدھْوے۔ 13
making void the word of God by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this."
اَتھَ سَ لوکاناہُویَ بَبھاشے یُویَں سَرْوّے مَدْواکْیَں شرِنُتَ بُدھْیَدھْوَنْچَ۔ 14
And he called the crowd to himself again, and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand.
باہْیادَنْتَرَں پْرَوِشْیَ نَرَمَمیدھْیَں کَرْتّاں شَکْنوتِ اِیدرِشَں کِمَپِ وَسْتُ ناسْتِ، وَرَمْ اَنْتَرادْ بَہِرْگَتَں یَدْوَسْتُ تَنْمَنُجَمْ اَمیدھْیَں کَروتِ۔ 15
There is nothing from outside of the person, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the person are what defile the person."
یَسْیَ شْروتُں شْروتْرے سْتَح سَ شرِنوتُ۔ 16
تَتَح سَ لوکانْ ہِتْوا گرِہَمَدھْیَں پْرَوِشْٹَسْتَدا شِشْیاسْتَدرِشْٹانْتَواکْیارْتھَں پَپْرَچّھُح۔ 17
When he had entered into a house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him about the parable.
تَسْماتْ سَ تانْ جَگادَ یُویَمَپِ کِمیتادرِگَبودھاح؟ کِمَپِ دْرَوْیَں باہْیادَنْتَرَں پْرَوِشْیَ نَرَمَمیدھْیَں کَرْتّاں نَ شَکْنوتِ کَتھامِماں کِں نَ بُدھْیَدھْوے؟ 18
He said to them, "Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him,
تَتْ تَدَنْتَرْنَ پْرَوِشَتِ کِنْتُ کُکْشِمَدھْیَں پْرَوِشَتِ شیشے سَرْوَّبھُکْتَوَسْتُگْراہِنِ بَہِرْدیشے نِرْیاتِ۔ 19
because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, cleansing all the foods?"
اَپَرَمَپْیَوادِیدْ یَنَّرانِّریتِ تَدیوَ نَرَمَمیدھْیَں کَروتِ۔ 20
He said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
یَتونْتَرادْ اَرْتھانْ مانَواناں مَنوبھْیَح کُچِنْتا پَرَسْتْرِیویشْیاگَمَنَں 21
For from within, out of a person's heart, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,
نَرَوَدھَشْچَورْیَّں لوبھو دُشْٹَتا پْرَوَنْچَنا کامُکَتا کُدرِشْٹِرِیشْوَرَنِنْدا گَرْوَّسْتَمَ اِتْیادِینِ نِرْگَچّھَنْتِ۔ 22
covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
ایتانِ سَرْوّانِ دُرِتانْیَنْتَرادیتْیَ نَرَمَمیدھْیَں کُرْوَّنْتِ۔ 23
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."
اَتھَ سَ اُتّھایَ تَتْسْتھاناتْ سورَسِیدونْپُرَپْرَدیشَں جَگامَ تَتْرَ کِمَپِ نِویشَنَں پْرَوِشْیَ سَرْوَّیرَجْناتَح سْتھاتُں مَتِنْچَکْرے کِنْتُ گُپْتَح سْتھاتُں نَ شَشاکَ۔ 24
From there he arose, and went away into the region of Tsur and Tsaidan. He entered into a house, and did not want anyone to know it, but he could not escape notice.
یَتَح سُرَپھَینِکِیدیشِییَیُونانِیوَںشودْبھَوَسْتْرِیاح کَنْیا بھُوتَگْرَسْتاسِیتْ۔ سا سْتْرِی تَدْوارْتّاں پْراپْیَ تَتْسَمِیپَماگَتْیَ تَچَّرَنَیوح پَتِتْوا 25
But immediately a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell at his feet.
سْوَکَنْیاتو بھُوتَں نِراکَرْتّاں تَسْمِنْ وِنَیَں کرِتَوَتِی۔ 26
Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
کِنْتُ یِیشُسْتامَوَدَتْ پْرَتھَمَں بالَکاسْترِپْیَنْتُ یَتو بالَکاناں کھادْیَں گرِہِیتْوا کُکُّریبھْیو نِکْشیپونُچِتَح۔ 27
But he said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
تَدا سا سْتْرِی تَمَوادِیتْ بھوح پْرَبھو تَتْ سَتْیَں تَتھاپِ مَنْچادھَحسْتھاح کُکُّرا بالاناں کَرَپَتِتانِ کھادْیَکھَنْڈانِ کھادَنْتِ۔ 28
But she answered him, "Yes, Sir. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."
تَتَح سوکَتھَیَدْ ایتَتْکَتھاہیتوح سَکُشَلا یاہِ تَوَ کَنْیاں تْیَکْتْوا بھُوتو گَتَح۔ 29
He said to her, "For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
اَتھَ سا سْتْرِی گرِہَں گَتْوا کَنْیاں بھُوتَتْیَکْتاں شَیّاسْتھِتاں دَدَرْشَ۔ 30
And when she went away to her house, she found the child lying on the bed, the demon having left.
پُنَشْچَ سَ سورَسِیدونْپُرَپْرَدیشاتْ پْرَسْتھایَ دِکاپَلِدیشَسْیَ پْرانْتَرَبھاگینَ گالِیلْجَلَدھیح سَمِیپَں گَتَوانْ۔ 31
Again he departed from the borders of Tsur, and came through Tsaidan to the lake of Galila, through the midst of the region of Decapolis.
تَدا لوکَیریکَں بَدھِرَں کَدْوَدَنْچَ نَرَں تَنِّکَٹَمانِییَ تَسْیَ گاتْرے ہَسْتَمَرْپَیِتُں وِنَیَح کرِتَح۔ 32
They brought to him one who was deaf and had a speech difficulty, and they begged Yeshua to lay his hand on him.
تَتو یِیشُ رْلوکارَنْیاتْ تَں نِرْجَنَمانِییَ تَسْیَ کَرْنَیونْگُلِی رْدَدَو نِشْٹھِیوَں دَتّوا چَ تَجِّہْواں پَسْپَرْشَ۔ 33
He took him aside from the crowd, privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue.
اَنَنْتَرَں سْوَرْگَں نِرِیکْشْیَ دِیرْگھَں نِشْوَسْیَ تَمَوَدَتْ اِتَپھَتَح اَرْتھانْ مُکْتو بھُویاتْ۔ 34
Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, "Pethakh." that is, "Be opened."
تَتَسْتَتْکْشَنَں تَسْیَ کَرْنَو مُکْتَو جِہْوایاشْچَ جاڈْیاپَگَماتْ سَ سُسْپَشْٹَواکْیَمَکَتھَیَتْ۔ 35
And his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
اَتھَ سَ تانْ واڈھَمِتْیادِدیشَ یُویَمِماں کَتھاں کَسْمَیچِدَپِ ما کَتھَیَتَ، کِنْتُ سَ یَتِ نْیَشیدھَتْ تے تَتِ باہُلْیینَ پْراچارَیَنْ؛ 36
He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
تےتِچَمَتْکرِتْیَ پَرَسْپَرَں کَتھَیاماسُح سَ بَدھِرایَ شْرَوَنَشَکْتِں مُوکایَ چَ کَتھَنَشَکْتِں دَتّوا سَرْوَّں کَرْمّوتَّمَرُوپینَ چَکارَ۔ 37
They were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear, and the mute speak."
