۲ تِیمَتھِیَح 1

1 کھْرِیشْٹینَ یِیشُنا یا جِیوَنَسْیَ پْرَتِجْنا تامَدھِیشْوَرَسْییچّھَیا یِیشوح کھْرِیشْٹَسْیَیکَح پْریرِتَح پَولوہَں سْوَکِییَں پْرِیَں دھَرْمَّپُتْرَں تِیمَتھِیَں پْرَتِ پَتْرَں لِکھامِ۔

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus,

2 تاتَ اِیشْوَروسْماکَں پْرَبھُ رْیِیشُکھْرِیشْٹَشْچَ تْوَیِ پْرَسادَں دَیاں شانْتِنْچَ کْرِیاسْتاں۔

to Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

3 اَہَمْ آ پُورْوَّپُرُشاتْ یَمْ اِیشْوَرَں پَوِتْرَمَنَسا سیوے تَں دھَنْیَں وَدَنَں کَتھَیامِ، اَہَمْ اَہوراتْرَں پْرارْتھَناسَمَیے تْواں نِرَنْتَرَں سْمَرامِ۔

I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as my forefathers did, as night and day I constantly remember yoʋ in my prayers.

4 یَشْچَ وِشْواسَح پْرَتھَمے لویِینامِکایاں تَوَ ماتامَہْیامْ اُنِیکِینامِکایاں ماتَرِ چاتِشْٹھَتْ تَوانْتَرےپِ تِشْٹھَتِیتِ مَنْیی

Recalling yoʋr tears, I long to see yoʋ so that I may be filled with joy.

5 تَوَ تَں نِشْکَپَٹَں وِشْواسَں مَنَسِ کُرْوَّنْ تَواشْرُپاتَں سْمَرَنْ یَتھانَنْدینَ پْرَپھَلّو بھَوییَں تَدَرْتھَں تَوَ دَرْشَنَمْ آکانْکْشے۔

I am reminded of the sincere faith that is in yoʋ, which dwelt first in yoʋr grandmother Lois and in yoʋr mother Eunice, and now, I am sure, dwells in yoʋ also.

6 اَتو ہیتو رْمَمَ ہَسْتارْپَنینَ لَبْدھو یَ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ وَرَسْتْوَیِ وِدْیَتے تَمْ اُجّوالَیِتُں تْواں سْمارَیامِ۔

Therefore I remind yoʋ to rekindle the gift of God that is in yoʋ through the laying on of my hands.

7 یَتَ اِیشْوَروسْمَبھْیَں بھَیَجَنَکَمْ آتْمانَمْ اَدَتّوا شَکْتِپْریمَسَتَرْکَتانامْ آکَرَمْ آتْمانَں دَتَّوانْ۔

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment.

8 اَتَایواسْماکَں پْرَبھُمَدھِ تَسْیَ وَنْدِداسَں مامَدھِ چَ پْرَمانَں داتُں نَ تْرَپَسْوَ کِنْتْوِیشْوَرِییَشَکْتْیا سُسَںوادَسْیَ کرِتے دُحکھَسْیَ سَہَبھاگِی بھَوَ۔

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel as you rely on the power of God.

9 سوسْمانْ پَرِتْرانَپاتْرانِ کرِتَوانْ پَوِتْریناہْوانیناہُوتَواںشْچَ؛ اَسْمَتْکَرْمَّہیتُنیتِ نَہِ سْوِییَنِرُوپانَسْیَ پْرَسادَسْیَ چَ کرِتے تَتْ کرِتَوانْ۔ سَ پْرَسادَح سرِشْٹیح پُورْوَّکالے کھْرِیشْٹینَ یِیشُناسْمَبھْیَمْ اَدایِ، (aiōnios g166)

He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, (aiōnios g166)

10 کِنْتْوَدھُناسْماکَں پَرِتْراتُ رْیِیشوح کھْرِیشْٹَسْیاگَمَنینَ پْراکاشَتَ۔ کھْرِیشْٹو مرِتْیُں پَراجِتَوانْ سُسَںوادینَ چَ جِیوَنَمْ اَمَرَتانْچَ پْرَکاشِتَوانْ۔

but has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

11 تَسْیَ گھوشَیِتا دُوتَشْچانْیَجاتِییاناں شِکْشَکَشْچاہَں نِیُکْتوسْمِ۔

For this gospel I was appointed to be a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

12 تَسْماتْ کارَناتْ مَمایَں کْلیشو بھَوَتِ تینَ مَمَ لَجّا نَ جایَتے یَتوہَں یَسْمِنْ وِشْوَسِتَوانْ تَمَوَگَتوسْمِ مَہادِنَں یاوَتْ مَموپَنِدھے رْگوپَنَسْیَ شَکْتِسْتَسْیَ وِدْیَتَ اِتِ نِشْچِتَں جانامِ۔

That is why I am suffering these things. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.

13 ہِتَدایَکاناں واکْیانامْ آدَرْشَرُوپینَ مَتَّح شْرُتاح کھْرِیشْٹے یِیشَو وِشْواسَپْریمْنوح کَتھا دھارَیَ۔

Hold to the pattern of sound teaching that yoʋ have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

14 اَپَرَمْ اَسْمَدَنْتَرْواسِنا پَوِتْریناتْمَنا تامُتَّمامْ اُپَنِدھِں گوپَیَ۔

By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit that has been entrusted to yoʋ.

15 آشِیادیشِییاح سَرْوّے ماں تْیَکْتَوَنْتَ اِتِ تْوَں جاناسِ تیشاں مَدھْیے پھُوگِلّو ہَرْمَّگِنِشْچَ وِدْییتے۔

Yoʋ know that everyone in Asia has turned away from me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.

16 پْرَبھُرَنِیشِپھَرَسْیَ پَرِوارانْ پْرَتِ کرِپاں وِدَدھاتُ یَتَح سَ پُنَح پُنَ رْمامْ آپْیایِتَوانْ

May the Lord give mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.

17 مَمَ شرِنْکھَلینَ نَ تْرَپِتْوا رومانَگَرے اُپَسْتھِتِسَمَیے یَتْنینَ ماں مرِگَیِتْوا مَمودّیشَں پْراپْتَوانْ۔

On the contrary, when he arrived in Rome, he sought me out very diligently and found me.

18 اَتو وِچارَدِنے سَ یَتھا پْرَبھوح کرِپابھاجَنَں بھَویتْ تادرِشَں وَرَں پْرَبھُسْتَسْمَے دییاتْ۔ اِپھِشَنَگَرےپِ سَ کَتِ پْرَکارَے رْمامْ اُپَکرِتَوانْ تَتْ تْوَں سَمْیَگْ ویتْسِ۔

May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day! Yoʋ know very well all the ways he helped me in Ephesus.
