ཡོཧནཿ 17

1 ཏཏཿ པརཾ ཡཱིཤུརེཏཱཿ ཀཐཱཿ ཀཐཡིཏྭཱ སྭརྒཾ ཝིལོཀྱཻཏཏ྄ པྲཱརྠཡཏ྄, ཧེ པིཏཿ སམཡ ཨུཔསྠིཏཝཱན྄; ཡཐཱ ཏཝ པུཏྲསྟཝ མཧིམཱནཾ པྲཀཱཤཡཏི ཏདརྠཾ ཏྭཾ ནིཛཔུཏྲསྱ མཧིམཱནཾ པྲཀཱཤཡ།

After Jesus said these things, He looked toward Heaven, and said: “Father, the time has come. Glorify Your Son, so that Your Son may also glorify You,

2 ཏྭཾ ཡོལློཀཱན྄ ཏསྱ ཧསྟེ སམརྤིཏཝཱན྄ ས ཡཐཱ ཏེབྷྱོ྅ནནྟཱཡུ རྡདཱཏི ཏདརྠཾ ཏྭཾ པྲཱཎིམཱཏྲཱཎཱམ྄ ཨདྷིཔཏིཏྭབྷཱརཾ ཏསྨཻ དཏྟཝཱན྄། (aiōnios g166)

as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. (aiōnios g166)

3 ཡསྟྭམ྄ ཨདྭིཏཱིཡཿ སཏྱ ཨཱིཤྭརསྟྭཡཱ པྲེརིཏཤྩ ཡཱིཤུཿ ཁྲཱིཥྚ ཨེཏཡོརུབྷཡོཿ པརིཙཡེ པྲཱཔྟེ྅ནནྟཱཡུ རྦྷཝཏི། (aiōnios g166)

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ who You have sent. (aiōnios g166)

4 ཏྭཾ ཡསྱ ཀརྨྨཎོ བྷཱརཾ མཧྱཾ དཏྟཝཱན྄, ཏཏ྄ སམྤནྣཾ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཛགཏྱསྨིན྄ ཏཝ མཧིམཱནཾ པྲཱཀཱཤཡཾ།

I have glorified You on the Earth. I have finished the work which You have given me to do.

5 ཨཏཨེཝ ཧེ པིཏ རྫགཏྱཝིདྱམཱནེ ཏྭཡཱ སཧ ཏིཥྛཏོ མམ ཡོ མཧིམཱསཱིཏ྄ སམྤྲཏི ཏཝ སམཱིཔེ མཱཾ ཏཾ མཧིམཱནཾ པྲཱཔཡ།

Now, O Father, glorify me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

6 ཨནྱཙྩ ཏྭམ྄ ཨེཏཛྫགཏོ ཡཱལློཀཱན྄ མཧྱམ྄ ཨདདཱ ཨཧཾ ཏེབྷྱསྟཝ ནཱམྣསྟཏྟྭཛྙཱནམ྄ ཨདདཱཾ, ཏེ ཏཝཻཝཱསན྄, ཏྭཾ ཏཱན྄ མཧྱམདདཱཿ, ཏསྨཱཏྟེ ཏཝོཔདེཤམ྄ ཨགྲྀཧླན྄།

“I have revealed Your name to the people You’ve given me out of the world. They were Yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept Your word.

7 ཏྭཾ མཧྱཾ ཡཏ྄ ཀིཉྩིད྄ ཨདདཱསྟཏྶཪྻྭཾ ཏྭཏྟོ ཛཱཡཏེ ཨིཏྱདྷུནཱཛཱནན྄།

Now they know that everything You’ve given me comes from You,

8 མཧྱཾ ཡམུཔདེཤམ྄ ཨདདཱ ཨཧམཔི ཏེབྷྱསྟམུཔདེཤམ྄ ཨདདཱཾ ཏེཔི ཏམགྲྀཧླན྄ ཏྭཏྟོཧཾ ནིརྒཏྱ ཏྭཡཱ པྲེརིཏོབྷཝམ྄ ཨཏྲ ཙ ཝྱཤྭསན྄།

for I have spoken to them the words You’ve given me. They have received Your words, and have come to know for certain that I came forth from You. They have believed that You sent me.

9 ཏེཥཱམེཝ ནིམིཏྟཾ པྲཱརྠཡེ྅ཧཾ ཛགཏོ ལོཀནིམིཏྟཾ ན པྲཱརྠཡེ ཀིནྟུ ཡཱལློཀཱན྄ མཧྱམ྄ ཨདདཱསྟེཥཱམེཝ ནིམིཏྟཾ པྲཱརྠཡེ྅ཧཾ ཡཏསྟེ ཏཝཻཝཱསཏེ།

It is for them I pray. I’m not praying for the world, but for those who You’ve given me, because they belong to You.

10 ཡེ མམ ཏེ ཏཝ ཡེ ཙ ཏཝ ཏེ མམ ཏཐཱ ཏཻ རྨམ མཧིམཱ པྲཀཱཤྱཏེ།

All of mine are Yours, and Yours are mine. I am glorified in them.

11 སཱམྤྲཏམ྄ ཨསྨིན྄ ཛགཏི མམཱཝསྠིཏེཿ ཤེཥམ྄ ཨབྷཝཏ྄ ཨཧཾ ཏཝ སམཱིཔཾ གཙྪཱམི ཀིནྟུ ཏེ ཛགཏི སྠཱསྱནྟི; ཧེ པཝིཏྲ པིཏརཱཝཡོ ཪྻཐཻཀཏྭམཱསྟེ ཏཐཱ ཏེཥཱམཔྱེཀཏྭཾ བྷཝཏི ཏདརྠཾ ཡཱལློཀཱན྄ མཧྱམ྄ ཨདདཱསྟཱན྄ སྭནཱམྣཱ རཀྵ།

Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world. I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those who You’ve given me, that they may be one just as we are one.

12 ཡཱཝནྟི དིནཱནི ཛགཏྱསྨིན྄ ཏཻཿ སཧཱཧམཱསཾ ཏཱཝནྟི དིནཱནི ཏཱན྄ ཏཝ ནཱམྣཱཧཾ རཀྵིཏཝཱན྄; ཡཱལློཀཱན྄ མཧྱམ྄ ཨདདཱསྟཱན྄ སཪྻྭཱན྄ ཨཧམརཀྵཾ, ཏེཥཱཾ མདྷྱེ ཀེཝལཾ ཝིནཱཤཔཱཏྲཾ ཧཱརིཏཾ ཏེན དྷརྨྨཔུསྟཀསྱ ཝཙནཾ པྲཏྱཀྵཾ བྷཝཏི།

I kept them in Your name while I was with them in the world. I have kept the people You gave me; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

13 ཀིནྟྭདྷུནཱ ཏཝ སནྣིདྷིཾ གཙྪཱམི མཡཱ ཡཐཱ ཏེཥཱཾ སམྤཱུརྞཱནནྡོ བྷཝཏི ཏདརྠམཧཾ ཛགཏི ཏིཥྛན྄ ཨེཏཱཿ ཀཐཱ ཨཀཐཡམ྄།

Now I am coming to You, and I speak these things in the world, so that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 ཏཝོཔདེཤཾ ཏེབྷྱོ྅དདཱཾ ཛགཏཱ སཧ ཡཐཱ མམ སམྦནྡྷོ ནཱསྟི ཏཐཱ ཛཛཏཱ སཧ ཏེཥཱམཔི སམྦནྡྷཱབྷཱཝཱཛ྄ ཛགཏོ ལོཀཱསྟཱན྄ ཨྲྀཏཱིཡནྟེ།

I have given them Your word. The world has hated them because they don’t belong to the world, just as I don’t belong to the world.

15 ཏྭཾ ཛགཏསྟཱན྄ གྲྀཧཱཎེཏི ན པྲཱརྠཡེ ཀིནྟྭཤུབྷཱད྄ རཀྵེཏི པྲཱརྠཡེཧམ྄།

I don’t pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.

16 ཨཧཾ ཡཐཱ ཛགཏྶམྦནྡྷཱིཡོ ན བྷཝཱམི ཏཐཱ ཏེཔི ཛགཏྶམྦནྡྷཱིཡཱ ན བྷཝནྟི།

They don’t belong to the world, just as I don’t belong to the world.

17 ཏཝ སཏྱཀཐཡཱ ཏཱན྄ པཝིཏྲཱིཀུརུ ཏཝ ཝཱཀྱམེཝ སཏྱཾ།

Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

18 ཏྭཾ ཡཐཱ མཱཾ ཛགཏི པྲཻརཡསྟཐཱཧམཔི ཏཱན྄ ཛགཏི པྲཻརཡཾ།

As You sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.

19 ཏེཥཱཾ ཧིཏཱརྠཾ ཡཐཱཧཾ སྭཾ པཝིཏྲཱིཀརོམི ཏཐཱ སཏྱཀཐཡཱ ཏེཔི པཝིཏྲཱིབྷཝནྟུ།

I sanctify myself for their sakes, so that they may also be sanctified by the truth.

20 ཀེཝལཾ ཨེཏེཥཱམརྠེ པྲཱརྠཡེ྅ཧམ྄ ཨིཏི ན ཀིནྟྭེཏེཥཱམུཔདེཤེན ཡེ ཛནཱ མཡི ཝིཤྭསིཥྱནྟི ཏེཥཱམཔྱརྠེ པྲཱརྠེཡེ྅ཧམ྄།

“I don’t pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in me through their message,

21 ཧེ པིཏསྟེཥཱཾ སཪྻྭེཥཱམ྄ ཨེཀཏྭཾ བྷཝཏུ ཏཝ ཡཐཱ མཡི མམ ཙ ཡཐཱ ཏྭཡྻེཀཏྭཾ ཏཐཱ ཏེཥཱམཔྱཱཝཡོརེཀཏྭཾ བྷཝཏུ ཏེན ཏྭཾ མཱཾ པྲེརིཏཝཱན྄ ཨིཏི ཛགཏོ ལོཀཱཿ པྲཏིཡནྟུ།

that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in me, and I in You. I pray that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent me.

22 ཡཐཱཝཡོརེཀཏྭཾ ཏཐཱ ཏེཥཱམཔྱེཀཏྭཾ བྷཝཏུ ཏེཥྭཧཾ མཡི ཙ ཏྭམ྄ ཨིཏྠཾ ཏེཥཱཾ སམྤཱུརྞམེཀཏྭཾ བྷཝཏུ, ཏྭཾ པྲེརིཏཝཱན྄ ཏྭཾ མཡི ཡཐཱ པྲཱིཡསེ ཙ ཏཐཱ ཏེཥྭཔི པྲཱིཏཝཱན྄ ཨེཏདྱཐཱ ཛགཏོ ལོཀཱ ཛཱནནྟི

I have given them the glory which You gave me, that they may be one just as we are one:

23 ཏདརྠཾ ཏྭཾ ཡཾ མཧིམཱནཾ མཧྱམ྄ ཨདདཱསྟཾ མཧིམཱནམ྄ ཨཧམཔི ཏེབྷྱོ དཏྟཝཱན྄།

I in them and You in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that You sent me and have sincerely loved them even as You have sincerely loved me.

24 ཧེ པིཏ རྫགཏོ ནིརྨྨཱཎཱཏ྄ པཱུཪྻྭཾ མཡི སྣེཧཾ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཡཾ མཧིམཱནཾ དཏྟཝཱན྄ མམ ཏཾ མཧིམཱནཾ ཡཐཱ ཏེ པཤྱནྟི ཏདརྠཾ ཡཱལློཀཱན྄ མཧྱཾ དཏྟཝཱན྄ ཨཧཾ ཡཏྲ ཏིཥྛཱམི ཏེཔི ཡཐཱ ཏཏྲ ཏིཥྛནྟི མམཻཥཱ ཝཱཉྪཱ།

Father, I desire that those You gave me may also be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which You’ve given me; because You sincerely loved me before the foundation of the world.

25 ཧེ ཡཐཱརྠིཀ པིཏ རྫགཏོ ལོཀཻསྟྭཡྻཛྙཱཏེཔི ཏྭཱམཧཾ ཛཱནེ ཏྭཾ མཱཾ པྲེརིཏཝཱན྄ ཨིཏཱིམེ ཤིཥྱཱ ཛཱནནྟི།

O righteous Father! The world hasn’t known You, but I have always known You, and these have come to know that You sent me.

26 ཡཐཱཧཾ ཏེཥུ ཏིཥྛཱམི ཏཐཱ མཡི ཡེན པྲེམྣཱ པྲེམཱཀརོསྟཏ྄ ཏེཥུ ཏིཥྛཏི ཏདརྠཾ ཏཝ ནཱམཱཧཾ ཏཱན྄ ཛྙཱཔིཏཝཱན྄ པུནརཔི ཛྙཱཔཡིཥྱཱམི།

I have declared to them Your name, and will continue to declare it, so that the sincere love with which You sincerely loved me may be in them, and I may be in them.”
