༢ ཏཱིམཐིཡཿ 2
1 ཧེ མམ པུཏྲ, ཁྲཱིཥྚཡཱིཤུཏོ ཡོ྅ནུགྲཧསྟསྱ བལེན ཏྭཾ བལཝཱན྄ བྷཝ།
And as for you, my son, be strengthened by the grace which is in Christ Jesus,
2 ཨཔརཾ བཧུབྷིཿ སཱཀྵིབྷིཿ པྲམཱཎཱིཀྲྀཏཱཾ ཡཱཾ ཤིཀྵཱཾ ཤྲུཏཝཱནསི ཏཱཾ ཝིཤྭཱསྱེཥུ པརསྨཻ ཤིཀྵཱདཱནེ ནིཔུཎེཥུ ཙ ལོཀེཥུ སམརྤཡ།
and by the things which you have heard from me through many witnesses. These things encourage faithful men, who shall then be suitable to teach others also.
3 ཏྭཾ ཡཱིཤུཁྲཱིཥྚསྱོཏྟམོ ཡོདྡྷེཝ ཀླེཤཾ སཧསྭ།
Labor like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
4 ཡོ ཡུདྡྷཾ ཀརོཏི ས སཱཾསཱརིཀེ ཝྱཱཔཱརེ མགྣོ ན བྷཝཏི ཀིནྟུ སྭནིཡོཛཡིཏྲེ རོཙིཏུཾ ཙེཥྚཏེ།
No man, acting as a soldier for God, entangles himself in worldly matters, so that he may be pleasing to him for whom he has proven himself.
5 ཨཔརཾ ཡོ མལླཻ ཪྻུདྷྱཏི ས ཡདི ནིཡམཱནུསཱརེཎ ན ཡུདྡྷྱཏི ཏརྷི ཀིརཱིཊཾ ན ལཔྶྱཏེ།
Then, too, whoever strives in a competition is not crowned, unless he has competed lawfully.
6 ཨཔརཾ ཡཿ ཀྲྀཥཱིཝལཿ ཀརྨྨ ཀརོཏི ཏེན པྲཐམེན ཕལབྷཱགིནཱ བྷཝིཏཝྱཾ།
The farmer who labors ought to be the first to share in the produce.
7 མཡཱ ཡདུཙྱཏེ ཏཏ྄ ཏྭཡཱ བུདྷྱཏཱཾ ཡཏཿ པྲབྷུསྟུབྷྱཾ སཪྻྭཏྲ བུདྡྷིཾ དཱསྱཏི།
Understand what I am saying. For the Lord will give you understanding in all things.
8 མམ སུསཾཝཱདསྱ ཝཙནཱནུསཱརཱད྄ དཱཡཱུདྭཾཤཱིཡཾ མྲྀཏགཎམདྷྱཱད྄ ཨུཏྠཱཔིཏཉྩ ཡཱིཤུཾ ཁྲཱིཥྚཾ སྨར།
Be mindful that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the offspring of David, has risen again from the dead, according to my Gospel.
9 ཏཏྶུསཾཝཱདཀཱརཎཱད྄ ཨཧཾ དུཥྐརྨྨེཝ བནྡྷནདཤཱཔཪྻྱནྟཾ ཀླེཤཾ བྷུཉྫེ ཀིནྟྭཱིཤྭརསྱ ཝཱཀྱམ྄ ཨབདྡྷཾ ཏིཥྛཏི།
I labor in this Gospel, even while chained like an evildoer. But the Word of God is not bound.
10 ཁྲཱིཥྚེན ཡཱིཤུནཱ ཡད྄ ཨནནྟགཽརཝསཧིཏཾ པརིཏྲཱཎཾ ཛཱཡཏེ ཏདབྷིརུཙིཏཻ རློཀཻརཔི ཡཏ྄ ལབྷྱེཏ ཏདརྠམཧཾ ཏེཥཱཾ ནིམིཏྟཾ སཪྻྭཱཎྱེཏཱནི སཧེ། (aiōnios g166)
I endure all things for this reason: for the sake of the elect, so that they, too, may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory. (aiōnios g166)
11 ཨཔརམ྄ ཨེཥཱ བྷཱརཏཱི སཏྱཱ ཡདི ཝཡཾ ཏེན སཱརྡྡྷཾ མྲིཡཱམཧེ ཏརྷི ཏེན སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཛཱིཝིཝྱཱམཿ, ཡདི ཙ ཀླེཤཾ སཧཱམཧེ ཏརྷི ཏེན སཱརྡྡྷཾ རཱཛཏྭམཔི ཀརིཥྱཱམཧེ།
It is a faithful saying: that if we have died with him, we will also live with him.
12 ཡདི ཝཡཾ ཏམ྄ ཨནངྒཱིཀུརྨྨསྟརྷི སོ ྅སྨཱནཔྱནངྒཱིཀརིཥྱཏི།
If we suffer, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.
13 ཡདི ཝཡཾ ན ཝིཤྭཱསཱམསྟརྷི ས ཝིཤྭཱསྱསྟིཥྛཏི ཡཏཿ སྭམ྄ ཨཔཧྣོཏུཾ ན ཤཀྣོཏི།
If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful: he is not able to deny himself.
14 ཏྭམེཏཱནི སྨཱརཡན྄ ཏེ ཡཐཱ ནིཥྥལཾ ཤྲོཏྲྀཎཱཾ བྷྲཾཤཛནཀཾ ཝཱགྱུདྡྷཾ ན ཀུཪྻྱསྟཐཱ པྲབྷོཿ སམཀྵཾ དྲྀཌྷཾ ཝིནཱིཡཱདིཤ།
Insist on these things, testifying before the Lord. Do not be contentious about words, for this is useful for nothing but the subversion of listeners.
15 ཨཔརཾ ཏྭམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ སཱཀྵཱཏ྄ སྭཾ པརཱིཀྵིཏམ྄ ཨནིནྡནཱིཡཀརྨྨཀཱརིཎཉྩ སཏྱམཏསྱ ཝཱཀྱཱནཱཾ སདྭིབྷཛནེ ནིཔུཎཉྩ དརྴཡིཏུཾ ཡཏསྭ།
Be solicitous in the task of presenting yourself before God as a proven and unashamed worker who has handled the Word of Truth correctly.
16 ཀིནྟྭཔཝིཏྲཱ ཨནརྠཀཀཐཱ དཱུརཱིཀུརུ ཡཏསྟདཱལམྦིན ཨུཏྟརོཏྟརམ྄ ཨདྷརྨྨེ ཝརྡྡྷིཥྱནྟེ,
But avoid profane or empty talk. For these things advance one greatly in impiety.
17 ཏེཥཱཉྩ ཝཱཀྱཾ གལིཏཀྵཏཝཏ྄ ཀྵཡཝརྡྡྷཀོ བྷཝིཥྱཏི ཏེཥཱཾ མདྷྱེ ཧུམིནཱཡཿ ཕིལཱིཏཤྩེཏིནཱམཱནཽ དྭཽ ཛནཽ སཏྱམཏཱད྄ བྷྲཥྚཽ ཛཱཏཽ,
And their word spreads like a cancer: among these are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
18 མྲྀཏཱནཱཾ པུནརུཏྠིཏི ཪྻྱཏཱིཏེཏི ཝདནྟཽ ཀེཥཱཉྩིད྄ ཝིཤྭཱསམ྄ ཨུཏྤཱཊཡཏཤྩ།
who have fallen away from the truth by saying that the resurrection is already complete. And so they have subverted the faith of certain persons.
19 ཏཐཱཔཱིཤྭརསྱ བྷིཏྟིམཱུལམ྄ ཨཙལཾ ཏིཥྛཏི ཏསྨིཾཤྩེཡཾ ལིཔི རྨུདྲཱངྐིཏཱ ཝིདྱཏེ། ཡཐཱ, ཛཱནཱཏི པརམེཤསྟུ སྭཀཱིཡཱན྄ སཪྻྭམཱནཝཱན྄། ཨཔགཙྪེད྄ ཨདྷརྨྨཱཙྩ ཡཿ ཀཤྩིཏ྄ ཁྲཱིཥྚནཱམཀྲྀཏ྄༎
But the firm foundation of God remains standing, having this seal: the Lord knows those who are his own, and all who know the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.
20 ཀིནྟུ བྲྀཧནྣིཀེཏནེ ཀེཝལ སུཝརྞམཡཱནི རཽཔྱམཡཱཎི ཙ བྷཱཛནཱནི ཝིདྱནྟ ཨིཏི ཏརྷི ཀཱཥྛམཡཱནི མྲྀཎྨཡཱནྱཔི ཝིདྱནྟེ ཏེཥཱཉྩ ཀིཡནྟི སམྨཱནཱཡ ཀིཡནྟཔམཱནཱཡ ཙ བྷཝནྟི།
But, in a large house, there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also those of wood and of clay; and certainly some are held in honor, but others in dishonor.
21 ཨཏོ ཡདི ཀཤྩིད྄ ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤེབྷྱཿ སྭཾ པརིཥྐརོཏི ཏརྷི ས པཱཝིཏཾ པྲབྷོཿ ཀཱཪྻྱཡོགྱཾ སཪྻྭསཏྐཱཪྻྱཱཡོཔཡུཀྟཾ སམྨཱནཱརྠཀཉྩ བྷཱཛནཾ བྷཝིཥྱཏི།
If anyone, then, will have cleansed himself from these things, he shall be a vessel held in honor, sanctified and useful to the Lord, prepared for every good work.
22 ཡཽཝནཱཝསྠཱཡཱ ཨབྷིལཱཥཱསྟྭཡཱ པརིཏྱཛྱནྟཱཾ དྷརྨྨོ ཝིཤྭཱསཿ པྲེམ ཡེ ཙ ཤུཙིམནོབྷིཿ པྲབྷུམ྄ ཨུདྡིཤྱ པྲཱརྠནཱཾ ཀུཪྻྭཏེ ཏཻཿ སཱརྡྡྷམ྄ ཨཻཀྱབྷཱཝཤྩཻཏེཥུ ཏྭཡཱ ཡཏྣོ ཝིདྷཱིཡཏཱཾ།
So then, flee from the desires of your youth, yet truly, pursue justice, faith, hope, charity, and peace, along with those who call upon the Lord from a pure heart.
23 ཨཔརཾ ཏྭམ྄ ཨནརྠཀཱན྄ ཨཛྙཱནཱཾཤྩ པྲཤྣཱན྄ ཝཱགྱུདྡྷོཏྤཱདཀཱན྄ ཛྙཱཏྭཱ དཱུརཱིཀུརུ།
But avoid foolish and undisciplined questions, for you know that these produce strife.
24 ཡཏཿ པྲབྷོ རྡཱསེན ཡུདྡྷམ྄ ཨཀརྟྟཝྱཾ ཀིནྟུ སཪྻྭཱན྄ པྲཏི ཤཱནྟེན ཤིཀྵཱདཱནེཙྪུཀེན སཧིཥྞུནཱ ཙ བྷཝིཏཝྱཾ, ཝིཔཀྵཱཤྩ ཏེན ནམྲཏྭེན ཙེཏིཏཝྱཱཿ།
For the servant of the Lord must not be contentious, but instead he must be meek toward everyone, teachable, patient,
25 ཏཐཱ ཀྲྀཏེ ཡདཱིཤྭརཿ སཏྱམཏསྱ ཛྙཱནཱརྠཾ ཏེབྷྱོ མནཿཔརིཝརྟྟནརཱུཔཾ ཝརཾ དདྱཱཏ྄,
correcting with self-restraint those who resist the truth. For at any time God may give them repentance, so as to recognize the truth,
26 ཏརྷི ཏེ ཡེན ཤཡཏཱནེན ནིཛཱབྷིལཱཥསཱདྷནཱཡ དྷྲྀཏཱསྟསྱ ཛཱལཱཏ྄ ཙེཏནཱཾ པྲཱཔྱོདྡྷཱརཾ ལབྡྷུཾ ཤཀྵྱནྟི།
and then they may recover from the snares of the devil, by whom they are held captive at his will.
