༡ ཏཱིམཐིཡཿ 2
1 མམ པྲཐམ ཨཱདེཤོ྅ཡཾ, པྲཱརྠནཱཝིནཡནིཝེདནདྷནྱཝཱདཱཿ ཀརྟྟཝྱཱཿ,
Therfor Y biseche first of alle thingis, that bisechingis, preieris, axyngis, doyngis of thankyngis, ben maad for alle men,
2 སཪྻྭེཥཱཾ མཱནཝཱནཱཾ ཀྲྀཏེ ཝིཤེཥཏོ ཝཡཾ ཡཏ྄ ཤཱནྟཏྭེན ནིཪྻྭིརོདྷཏྭེན ཙེཤྩརབྷཀྟིཾ ཝིནཱིཏཏྭཉྩཱཙརནྟཿ ཀཱལཾ ཡཱཔཡཱམསྟདརྠཾ ནྲྀཔཏཱིནཱམ྄ ཨུཙྩཔདསྠཱནཱཉྩ ཀྲྀཏེ ཏེ ཀརྟྟཝྱཱཿ།
for kingis and alle that ben set in hiynesse, that we leden a quyet and a pesible lijf, in al pite and chastite.
3 ཡཏོ྅སྨཱཀཾ ཏཱརཀསྱེཤྭརསྱ སཱཀྵཱཏ྄ ཏདེཝོཏྟམཾ གྲཱཧྱཉྩ བྷཝཏི,
For this thing is good and acceptid bifor God,
4 ས སཪྻྭེཥཱཾ མཱནཝཱནཱཾ པརིཏྲཱཎཾ སཏྱཛྙཱནཔྲཱཔྟིཉྩེཙྪཏི།
oure sauyour, that wole that alle men ben maad saaf, and that thei come to the knowyng of treuthe.
5 ཡཏ ཨེཀོ྅དྭིཏཱིཡ ཨཱིཤྭརོ ཝིདྱཏེ ཀིཉྩེཤྭརེ མཱནཝེཥུ ཙཻཀོ ྅དྭིཏཱིཡོ མདྷྱསྠཿ
For o God and a mediatour is of God and of men, a man Crist Jhesus,
6 ས ནརཱཝཏཱརཿ ཁྲཱིཥྚོ ཡཱིཤུ ཪྻིདྱཏེ ཡཿ སཪྻྭེཥཱཾ མུཀྟེ རྨཱུལྱམ྄ ཨཱཏྨདཱནཾ ཀྲྀཏཝཱན྄། ཨེཏེན ཡེན པྲམཱཎེནོཔཡུཀྟེ སམཡེ པྲཀཱཤིཏཝྱཾ,
that yaf him silf redempcioun for alle men. Whos witnessing is confermyd in his tymes;
7 ཏདྒྷོཥཡིཏཱ དཱུཏོ ཝིཤྭཱསེ སཏྱདྷརྨྨེ ཙ བྷིནྣཛཱཏཱིཡཱནཱམ྄ ཨུཔདེཤཀཤྩཱཧཾ ནྱཡཱུཛྱེ, ཨེཏདཧཾ ཁྲཱིཥྚསྱ ནཱམྣཱ ཡཐཱཏཐྱཾ ཝདཱམི ནཱནྲྀཏཾ ཀཐཡཱམི།
in which Y am set a prechour and an apostle. For Y seye treuthe, and Y lie not, that am a techere of hethene men in feith and in treuthe.
8 ཨཏོ མམཱབྷིམཏམིདཾ པུརུཥཻཿ ཀྲོདྷསནྡེཧཽ ཝིནཱ པཝིཏྲཀརཱན྄ ཨུཏྟོལྱ སཪྻྭསྨིན྄ སྠཱནེ པྲཱརྠནཱ ཀྲིཡཏཱཾ།
Therfor Y wole, that men preye in al place, liftinge vp clene hondis with outen wraththe and strijf.
9 ཏདྭཏ྄ ནཱཪྻྱོ྅པི སལཛྫཱཿ སཾཡཏམནསཤྩ སཏྱོ ཡོགྱམཱཙྪཱདནཾ པརིདདྷཏུ ཀིཉྩ ཀེཤསཾསྐཱརཻཿ ཀཎཀམུཀྟཱབྷི རྨཧཱརྒྷྱཔརིཙྪདཻཤྩཱཏྨབྷཱུཥཎཾ ན ཀུཪྻྭཏྱཿ
Also wymmen in couenable abite, with schamefastnesse and sobrenesse araiynge hem silf, not in writhun heeris, ethir in gold, ethir peerlis, ethir preciouse cloth; but that that bicometh wymmen,
10 སྭཱིཀྲྀཏེཤྭརབྷཀྟཱིནཱཾ ཡོཥིཏཱཾ ཡོགྱཻཿ སཏྱརྨྨབྷིཿ སྭབྷཱུཥཎཾ ཀུཪྻྭཏཱཾ།
biheetinge pite bi good werkis.
11 ནཱརཱི སམྤཱུརྞཝིནཱིཏཏྭེན ནིཪྻིརོདྷཾ ཤིཀྵཏཱཾ།
A womman lerne in silence, with al subieccioun.
12 ནཱཪྻྱཱཿ ཤིཀྵཱདཱནཾ པུརུཥཱཡཱཛྙཱདཱནཾ ཝཱཧཾ ནཱནུཛཱནཱམི ཏཡཱ ནིཪྻྭིརོདྷཏྭམ྄ ཨཱཙརིཏཝྱཾ།
But Y suffre not a womman to teche, nether to haue lordschip on the hosebonde, but to be in silence.
13 ཡཏཿ པྲཐམམ྄ ཨཱདམསྟཏཿ པརཾ ཧཝཱཡཱཿ སྲྀཥྚི རྦབྷཱུཝ།
For Adam was first formed, aftirward Eue;
14 ཀིཉྩཱདམ྄ བྷྲཱནྟིཡུཀྟོ ནཱབྷཝཏ྄ ཡོཥིདེཝ བྷྲཱནྟིཡུཀྟཱ བྷཱུཏྭཱཏྱཱཙཱརིཎཱི བབྷཱུཝ།
and Adam was not disseyued, but the womman was disseyued, in breking of the lawe.
15 ཏཐཱཔི ནཱརཱིགཎོ ཡདི ཝིཤྭཱསེ པྲེམྣི པཝིཏྲཏཱཡཱཾ སཾཡཏམནསི ཙ ཏིཥྛཏི ཏརྷྱཔཏྱཔྲསཝཝརྟྨནཱ པརིཏྲཱཎཾ པྲཱཔྶྱཏི།
But sche schal be sauyd bi generacioun of children, if sche dwellith perfitli in feith, and loue, and hoolynesse, with sobrenesse.
