༡ ཐིཥལནཱིཀིནཿ 4
1 ཧེ བྷྲཱཏརཿ, ཡུཥྨཱབྷིཿ ཀཱིདྲྀག྄ ཨཱཙརིཏཝྱཾ ཨཱིཤྭརཱཡ རོཙིཏཝྱཉྩ ཏདདྷྱསྨཏྟོ ཡཱ ཤིཀྵཱ ལབྡྷཱ ཏདནུསཱརཱཏ྄ པུནརཏིཤཡཾ ཡཏྣཿ ཀྲིཡཏཱམིཏི ཝཡཾ པྲབྷུཡཱིཤུནཱ ཡུཥྨཱན྄ ཝིནཱིཡཱདིཤཱམཿ།
Therefore, concerning other things, brothers, we ask and beg you, in the Lord Jesus, that, just as you have received from us the way in which you ought to walk and to please God, so also may you walk, in order that you may abound all the more.
2 ཡཏོ ཝཡཾ པྲབྷུཡཱིཤུནཱ ཀཱིདྲྀཤཱིརཱཛྙཱ ཡུཥྨཱསུ སམརྤིཏཝནྟསྟད྄ ཡཱུཡཾ ཛཱནཱིཐ།
For you know what precepts I have given to you through the Lord Jesus.
3 ཨཱིཤྭརསྱཱཡམ྄ ཨབྷིལཱཥོ ཡད྄ ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ པཝིཏྲཏཱ བྷཝེཏ྄, ཡཱུཡཾ ཝྱབྷིཙཱརཱད྄ དཱུརེ ཏིཥྛཏ།
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from fornication,
4 ཡུཥྨཱཀམ྄ ཨེཀཻཀོ ཛནཿ སྭཀཱིཡཾ པྲཱཎཱདྷཱརཾ པཝིཏྲཾ མཱནྱཉྩ རཀྵཏུ,
that each one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor,
5 ཡེ ཙ བྷིནྣཛཱཏཱིཡཱ ལོཀཱ ཨཱིཤྭརཾ ན ཛཱནནྟི ཏ ཨིཝ ཏཏ྄ ཀཱམཱབྷིལཱཥསྱཱདྷཱིནཾ ན ཀརོཏུ།
not in passions of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God,
6 ཨེཏསྨིན྄ ཝིཥཡེ ཀོ྅པྱཏྱཱཙཱརཱི བྷཱུཏྭཱ སྭབྷྲཱཏརཾ ན ཝཉྩཡཏུ ཡཏོ྅སྨཱབྷིཿ པཱུཪྻྭཾ ཡཐོཀྟཾ པྲམཱཎཱིཀྲྀཏཉྩ ཏཐཻཝ པྲབྷུརེཏཱདྲྀཤཱནཱཾ ཀརྨྨཎཱཾ སམུཙིཏཾ ཕལཾ དཱསྱཏི།
and that no one should overwhelm or circumvent his brother in business. For the Lord is the vindicator of all these things, just as we have preached and testified to you.
7 ཡསྨཱད྄ ཨཱིཤྭརོ྅སྨཱན྄ ཨཤུཙིཏཱཡཻ ནཱཧཱུཏཝཱན྄ ཀིནྟུ པཝིཏྲཏྭཱཡཻཝཱཧཱུཏཝཱན྄།
For God has not called us to impurity, but to sanctification.
8 ཨཏོ ཧེཏོ ཪྻཿ ཀཤྩིད྄ ཝཱཀྱམེཏནྣ གྲྀཧླཱཏི ས མནུཥྱམ྄ ཨཝཛཱནཱཏཱིཏི ནཧི ཡེན སྭཀཱིཡཱཏྨཱ ཡུཥྨདནྟརེ སམརྤིཏསྟམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརམ྄ ཨེཝཱཝཛཱནཱཏི།
And so, whoever despises these teachings, does not despise man, but God, who has even provided his Holy Spirit within us.
9 བྷྲཱཏྲྀཥུ པྲེམཀརཎམདྷི ཡུཥྨཱན྄ པྲཏི མམ ལིཁནཾ ནིཥྤྲཡོཛནཾ ཡཏོ ཡཱུཡཾ པརསྤརཾ པྲེམཀརཎཱཡེཤྭརཤིཀྵིཏཱ ལོཀཱ ཨཱདྷྭེ།
But concerning the charity of brotherhood, we have no need to write to you. For you yourselves have learned from God that you should love one another.
10 ཀྲྀཏྶྣེ མཱཀིདནིཡཱདེཤེ ཙ ཡཱཝནྟོ བྷྲཱཏརཿ སནྟི ཏཱན྄ སཪྻྭཱན྄ པྲཏི ཡུཥྨཱབྷིསྟཏ྄ པྲེམ པྲཀཱཤྱཏེ ཏཐཱཔི ཧེ བྷྲཱཏརཿ, ཝཡཾ ཡུཥྨཱན྄ ཝིནཡཱམཧེ ཡཱུཡཾ པུན རྦཧུཏརཾ པྲེམ པྲཀཱཤཡཏ།
For indeed, you act in this way with all the brothers in all of Macedonia. But we petition you, brothers, so that you may abound all the more,
11 ཨཔརཾ ཡེ བཧིཿསྠིཏཱསྟེཥཱཾ དྲྀཥྚིགོཙརེ ཡུཥྨཱཀམ྄ ཨཱཙརཎཾ ཡཏ྄ མནོརམྱཾ བྷཝེཏ྄ ཀསྱཱཔི ཝསྟུནཤྩཱབྷཱཝོ ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ ཡནྣ བྷཝེཏ྄,
to choose work that allows you to be tranquil, and to carry out your business and to do your work with your own hands, just as we have instructed you,
12 ཨེཏདརྠཾ ཡཱུཡམ྄ ཨསྨཏྟོ ཡཱདྲྀཤམ྄ ཨཱདེཤཾ པྲཱཔྟཝནྟསྟཱདྲྀཤཾ ནིཪྻིརོདྷཱཙཱརཾ ཀརྟྟུཾ སྭསྭཀརྨྨཎི མནཱཾམི ནིདྷཱཏུཾ ནིཛཀརཻཤྩ ཀཱཪྻྱཾ སཱདྷཡིཏུཾ ཡཏདྷྭཾ།
and to walk honestly with those who are outside, and to desire nothing belonging to another.
13 ཧེ བྷྲཱཏརཿ ནིརཱཤཱ ཨནྱེ ལོཀཱ ཨིཝ ཡཱུཡཾ ཡནྣ ཤོཙེདྷྭཾ ཏདརྠཾ མཧཱནིདྲཱགཏཱན྄ ལོཀཱནདྷི ཡུཥྨཱཀམ྄ ཨཛྙཱནཏཱ མཡཱ ནཱབྷིལཥྱཏེ།
And we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are sleeping, so as not to be sorrowful, like these others who do not have hope.
14 ཡཱིཤུ རྨྲྀཏཝཱན྄ པུནརུཐིཏཝཱཾཤྩེཏི ཡདི ཝཡཾ ཝིཤྭཱསམསྟརྷི ཡཱིཤུམ྄ ཨཱཤྲིཏཱན྄ མཧཱནིདྲཱཔྲཱཔྟཱན྄ ལོཀཱནཔཱིཤྭརོ྅ཝཤྱཾ ཏེན སཱརྡྡྷམ྄ ཨཱནེཥྱཏི།
For if we believe that Jesus has died and risen again, so also will God bring back with Jesus those who sleep in him.
15 ཡཏོ྅ཧཾ པྲབྷོ ཪྻཱཀྱེན ཡུཥྨཱན྄ ཨིདཾ ཛྙཱཔཡཱམི; ཨསྨཱཀཾ མདྷྱེ ཡེ ཛནཱཿ པྲབྷོརཱགམནཾ ཡཱཝཏ྄ ཛཱིཝནྟོ྅ཝཤེཀྵྱནྟེ ཏེ མཧཱནིདྲིཏཱནཱམ྄ ཨགྲགཱམིནོན ན བྷཝིཥྱནྟི;
For we say this to you, in the Word of the Lord: that we who are alive, who remain until the return of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16 ཡཏཿ པྲབྷུཿ སིཾཧནཱདེན པྲདྷཱནསྭརྒདཱུཏསྱོཙྩཻཿ ཤབྡེནེཤྭརཱིཡཏཱུརཱིཝཱདྱེན ཙ སྭཡཾ སྭརྒཱད྄ ཨཝརོཀྵྱཏི ཏེན ཁྲཱིཥྚཱཤྲིཏཱ མྲྀཏལོཀཱཿ པྲཐམམ྄ ཨུཏྠཱསྱཱནྟི།
For the Lord himself, with a command and with the voice of an Archangel and with a trumpet of God, shall descend from heaven. And the dead, who are in Christ, shall rise up first.
17 ཨཔརམ྄ ཨསྨཱཀཾ མདྷྱེ ཡེ ཛཱིཝནྟོ྅ཝཤེཀྵྱནྟེ ཏ ཨཱཀཱཤེ པྲབྷོཿ སཱཀྵཱཏྐརཎཱརྠཾ ཏཻཿ སཱརྡྡྷཾ མེགྷཝཱཧནེན ཧརིཥྱནྟེ; ཨིཏྠཉྩ ཝཡཾ སཪྻྭདཱ པྲབྷུནཱ སཱརྡྡྷཾ སྠཱསྱཱམཿ།
Next, we who are alive, who are remaining, shall be taken up quickly together with them into the clouds to meet Christ in the air. And in this way, we shall be with the Lord always.
18 ཨཏོ ཡཱུཡམ྄ ཨེཏཱབྷིཿ ཀཐཱབྷིཿ པརསྤརཾ སཱནྟྭཡཏ།
Therefore, console one another with these words.
