1 อปรญฺจ ยิหูทิน: กึ เศฺรษฺฐตฺวํ? ตถา ตฺวกฺเฉทสฺย วา กึ ผลํ?
Atunci ce avantaj are evreul? Sau care este folosul circumciziei?
2 สรฺวฺวถา พหูนิ ผลานิ สนฺติ, วิเศษต อีศฺวรสฺย ศาสฺตฺรํ เตโภฺย'ทียตฯ
Mult în toate privințele! Pentru că, mai întâi de toate, li s-au încredințat revelațiile lui Dumnezeu.
3 ไกศฺจิทฺ อวิศฺวสเน กฺฤเต เตษามฺ อวิศฺวสนาตฺ กิมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย วิศฺวาสฺยตายา หานิรุตฺปตฺสฺยเต?
Căci ce s-ar întâmpla dacă unii ar fi fără credință? Oare lipsa lor de credință va anula credincioșia lui Dumnezeu?
4 เกนาปิ ปฺรกาเรณ นหิฯ ยทฺยปิ สรฺเวฺว มนุษฺยา มิถฺยาวาทินสฺตถาปีศฺวร: สตฺยวาทีฯ ศาสฺเตฺร ยถา ลิขิตมาเสฺต, อตสฺตฺวนฺตุ สฺววาเกฺยน นิรฺทฺโทโษ หิ ภวิษฺยสิฯ วิจาเร ไจว นิษฺปาโป ภวิษฺยสิ น สํศย: ฯ
Să nu se întâmple niciodată! Da, să fie găsit Dumnezeu adevărat, dar orice om mincinos. După cum este scris, “pentru ca să fiți îndreptățiți în cuvintele voastre, și ar putea să prevaleze atunci când veți veni la judecată.”
5 อสฺมากมฺ อนฺยาเยน ยทีศฺวรสฺย นฺยาย: ปฺรกาศเต ตรฺหิ กึ วทิษฺยาม: ? อหํ มานุษาณำ กถามิว กถำ กถยามิ, อีศฺวร: สมุจิตํ ทณฺฑํ ทตฺตฺวา กิมฺ อนฺยายี ภวิษฺยติ?
Dar dacă neprihănirea noastră face să se recunoască neprihănirea lui Dumnezeu, ce vom spune? Este nedrept Dumnezeu care provoacă mânie? Vorbesc așa cum vorbesc oamenii.
6 อิตฺถํ น ภวตุ, ตถา สตีศฺวร: กถํ ชคโต วิจารยิตา ภวิษฺยติ?
Să nu se întâmple niciodată! Căci atunci cum va judeca Dumnezeu lumea?
7 มม มิถฺยาวากฺยวทนาทฺ ยทีศฺวรสฺย สตฺยเตฺวน ตสฺย มหิมา วรฺทฺธเต ตรฺหิ กสฺมาทหํ วิจาเร'ปราธิเตฺวน คโณฺย ภวามิ?
Căci dacă adevărul lui Dumnezeu, prin minciuna mea, a abundat spre gloria lui, de ce sunt și eu judecat tot ca păcătos?
8 มงฺคลารฺถํ ปาปมปิ กรณียมิติ วากฺยํ ตฺวยา กุโต โนจฺยเต? กินฺตุ ไยรุจฺยเต เต นิตานฺตํ ทณฺฑสฺย ปาตฺราณิ ภวนฺติ; ตถาปิ ตทฺวากฺยมฺ อสฺมาภิรปฺยุจฺยต อิตฺยสฺมากํ คฺลานึ กุรฺวฺวนฺต: กิยนฺโต โลกา วทนฺติฯ
De ce nu (așa cum se spune în mod calomnios și cum afirmă unii că spunem): “Să facem răul, ca să vină binele?”? Cei care spun așa sunt condamnați pe bună dreptate.
9 อนฺยโลเกโภฺย วยํ กึ เศฺรษฺฐา: ? กทาจน นหิ ยโต ยิหูทิโน 'นฺยเทศินศฺจ สรฺวฺเวอว ปาปสฺยายตฺตา อิตฺยสฺย ปฺรมาณํ วยํ ปูรฺวฺวมฺ อททามฯ
Și atunci, ce se întâmplă? Suntem noi mai buni decât ei? Nu, în niciun caz. Căci noi i-am avertizat anterior atât pe iudei, cât și pe greci, că toți sunt sub păcat.
10 ลิปิ รฺยถาเสฺต, ไนโกปิ ธารฺมฺมิโก ชน: ฯ
După cum este scris, “Nu este nimeni neprihănit; nu, nici unul.
11 ตถา ชฺญานีศฺวรชฺญานี มานว: โกปิ นาสฺติ หิฯ
Nu este nimeni care să înțeleagă. Nu există nimeni care să-L caute pe Dumnezeu.
12 วิมารฺคคามิน: สรฺเวฺว สรฺเวฺว ทุษฺกรฺมฺมการิณ: ฯ เอโก ชโนปิ โน เตษำ สาธุกรฺมฺม กโรติ จฯ
Toți s-au îndepărtat. Împreună au devenit neprofitabile. Nu există nimeni care să facă binele, nu, nici măcar unul.”
13 ตถา เตษานฺตุ ไว กณฺฐา อนาวฺฤตศฺมศานวตฺฯ สฺตุติวาทํ ปฺรกุรฺวฺวนฺติ ชิหฺวาภิเสฺต ตุ เกวลํฯ เตษาโมษฺฐสฺย นิมฺเน ตุ วิษํ ติษฺฐติ สรฺปฺปวตฺฯ
“Gâtul lor este un mormânt deschis. Cu limbile lor au folosit înșelăciunea.” “Otrava viperelor este sub buzele lor.”
14 มุขํ เตษำ หิ ศาเปน กปเฏน จ ปูรฺยฺยเตฯ
“Gura lor este plină de blestem și de amărăciune.”
15 รกฺตปาตาย เตษำ ตุ ปทานิ กฺษิปฺรคานิ จฯ
Picioarele lor sunt iuți la vărsarea sângelui.
16 ปถิ เตษำ มนุษฺยาณำ นาศ: เกฺลศศฺจ เกวล: ฯ
Distrugerea și nenorocirea sunt în căile lor.
17 เต ชนา นหิ ชานนฺติ ปนฺถานํ สุขทายินํฯ
Calea păcii, ei nu au cunoscut-o.”
18 ปรเมศาทฺ ภยํ ยตฺตตฺ ตจฺจกฺษุโษรโคจรํฯ
“Nu este frică de Dumnezeu înaintea ochilor lor.”
19 วฺยวสฺถายำ ยทฺยลฺลิขติ ตทฺ วฺยวสฺถาธีนานฺ โลกานฺ อุทฺทิศฺย ลิขตีติ วยํ ชานีม: ฯ ตโต มนุษฺยมาโตฺร นิรุตฺตร: สนฺ อีศฺวรสฺย สากฺษาทฺ อปราธี ภวติฯ
Și știm că tot ce spune Legea vorbește celor ce sunt sub Lege, pentru ca orice gură să fie închisă și toată lumea să fie supusă judecății lui Dumnezeu.
20 อเตอว วฺยวสฺถานุรูไป: กรฺมฺมภิ: กศฺจิทปิ ปฺราณีศฺวรสฺย สากฺษาตฺ สปุณฺยีกฺฤโต ภวิตุํ น ศกฺษฺยติ ยโต วฺยวสฺถยา ปาปชฺญานมาตฺรํ ชายเตฯ
Fiindcă prin faptele Legii, nicio făptură nu va fi îndreptățită înaintea Lui; căci prin Lege vine cunoașterea păcatului.
21 กินฺตุ วฺยวสฺถายา: ปฺฤถคฺ อีศฺวเรณ เทยํ ยตฺ ปุณฺยํ ตทฺ วฺยวสฺถายา ภวิษฺยทฺวาทิคณสฺย จ วจไน: ปฺรมาณีกฺฤตํ สทฺ อิทานีํ ปฺรกาศเตฯ
Dar acum, afară de Lege, s-a descoperit o neprihănire a lui Dumnezeu, mărturisită prin Lege și prin prooroci,
22 ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏ วิศฺวาสกรณาทฺ อีศฺวเรณ ทตฺตํ ตตฺ ปุณฺยํ สกเลษุ ปฺรกาศิตํ สตฺ สรฺวฺวานฺ วิศฺวาสิน: ปฺรติ วรฺตฺตเตฯ
neprihănirea lui Dumnezeu prin credința în Isus Hristos, pentru toți și pentru toți cei ce cred. Căci nu este nicio deosebire,
23 เตษำ โกปิ ปฺรเภโท นาสฺติ, ยต: สรฺวฺเวอว ปาปิน อีศฺวรียเตโชหีนาศฺจ ชาตา: ฯ
căci toți au păcătuit și sunt lipsiți de gloria lui Dumnezeu;
24 ต อีศฺวรสฺยานุคฺรหาทฺ มูลฺยํ วินา ขฺรีษฺฏกฺฤเตน ปริตฺราเณน สปุณฺยีกฺฤตา ภวนฺติฯ
fiind îndreptățiți gratuit prin harul său, prin răscumpărarea care este în Isus Cristos,
25 ยสฺมาตฺ สฺวโศณิเตน วิศฺวาสาตฺ ปาปนาศโก พลี ภวิตุํ ส เอว ปูรฺวฺวมฺ อีศฺวเรณ นิศฺจิต: , อิตฺถมฺ อีศฺวรียสหิษฺณุตฺวาตฺ ปุรากฺฤตปาปานำ มารฺชฺชนกรเณ สฺวียยาถารฺถฺยํ เตน ปฺรกาศฺยเต,
pe care Dumnezeu l-a trimis ca jertfă de ispășire prin credința în sângele său, pentru o demonstrație a dreptății sale prin trecerea peste păcatele anterioare, în îngăduința lui Dumnezeu;
26 วรฺตฺตมานกาลียมปิ สฺวยาถารฺถฺยํ เตน ปฺรกาศฺยเต, อปรํ ยีเศา วิศฺวาสินํ สปุณฺยีกุรฺวฺวนฺนปิ ส ยาถารฺถิกสฺติษฺฐติฯ
pentru a demonstra dreptatea sa în timpul prezent, pentru ca el însuși să fie drept și justițiarul celui care are credință în Isus.
27 ตรฺหิ กุตฺราตฺมศฺลาฆา? สา ทูรีกฺฤตา; กยา วฺยวสฺถยา? กึ กฺริยารูปวฺยวสฺถยา? อิตฺถํ นหิ กินฺตุ ตตฺ เกวลวิศฺวาสรูปยา วฺยวสฺถไยว ภวติฯ
Atunci unde este lăudăroșenia? Ea este exclusă. Prin ce fel de lege? A faptelor? Nu, ci printr-o lege a credinței.
28 อเตอว วฺยวสฺถานุรูปา: กฺริยา วินา เกวเลน วิศฺวาเสน มานว: สปุณฺยีกฺฤโต ภวิตุํ ศกฺโนตีตฺยสฺย ราทฺธานฺตํ ทรฺศยาม: ฯ
Susținem deci că omul este justificat prin credință, fără faptele legii.
29 ส กึ เกวลยิหูทินามฺ อีศฺวโร ภวติ? ภินฺนเทศินามฺ อีศฺวโร น ภวติ? ภินฺนเทศินามปิ ภวติ;
Sau Dumnezeu este oare numai Dumnezeul iudeilor? Nu este el Dumnezeul și al neamurilor? Ba da, și al neamurilor,
30 ยสฺมาทฺ เอก อีศฺวโร วิศฺวาสาตฺ ตฺวกฺเฉทิโน วิศฺวาเสนาตฺวกฺเฉทินศฺจ สปุณฺยีกริษฺยติฯ
de vreme ce, într-adevăr, există un singur Dumnezeu care va justifica pe cei tăiați împrejur prin credință și pe cei netăiați împrejur prin credință.
31 ตรฺหิ วิศฺวาเสน วยํ กึ วฺยวสฺถำ ลุมฺปาม? อิตฺถํ น ภวตุ วยํ วฺยวสฺถำ สํสฺถาปยาม เอวฯ
În acest caz, anulăm noi Legea prin credință? Să nu se întâmple niciodată! Nu, noi stabilim legea.
