1 อนนฺตรํ ยีศุ: ปุน รฺภชนคฺฤหํ ปฺรวิษฺฏสฺตสฺมินฺ สฺถาเน ศุษฺกหสฺต เอโก มานว อาสีตฺฯ
And he entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered.
2 ส วิศฺรามวาเร ตมโรคิณํ กริษฺยติ นเวตฺยตฺร พหวสฺตมฺ อปวทิตุํ ฉิทฺรมเปกฺษิตวนฺต: ฯ
And They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
3 ตทา ส ตํ ศุษฺกหสฺตํ มนุษฺยํ ชคาท มธฺยสฺถาเน ตฺวมุตฺติษฺฐฯ
And he said to the man with the withered hand, "Stand up in the middle."
4 ตต: ปรํ ส ตานฺ ปปฺรจฺฉ วิศฺรามวาเร หิตมหิตํ ตถา หิ ปฺราณรกฺษา วา ปฺราณนาศ เอษำ มเธฺย กึ กรณียํ? กินฺตุ เต นิ: ศพฺทาสฺตสฺถุ: ฯ
And he said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?" But they were silent.
5 ตทา ส เตษามนฺต: กรณานำ กาฐินฺยาทฺเธโต รฺทุ: ขิต: โกฺรธาตฺ จรฺตุทโศ ทฺฤษฺฏวานฺ ตํ มานุษํ คทิตวานฺ ตํ หสฺตํ วิสฺตารย, ตตเสฺตน หเสฺต วิสฺตฺฤเต ตทฺธโสฺต'นฺยหสฺตวทฺ อโรโค ชาต: ฯ
And when he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.
6 อถ ผิรูศิน: ปฺรสฺถาย ตํ นาศยิตุํ เหโรทีไย: สห มนฺตฺรยิตุมาเรภิเรฯ
And the Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
7 อเตอว ยีศุสฺตตฺสฺถานํ ปริตฺยชฺย ศิไษฺย: สห ปุน: สาครสมีปํ คต: ;
And Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a large crowd followed from Galilee, and from Judea,
8 ตโต คาลีลฺยิหูทา-ยิรูศาลมฺ-อิโทมฺ-ยรฺทนฺนทีปารสฺถาเนโภฺย โลกสมูหสฺตสฺย ปศฺจาทฺ คต: ; ตทนฺย: โสรสีทโน: สมีปวาสิโลกสมูหศฺจ ตสฺย มหากรฺมฺมณำ วารฺตฺตํ ศฺรุตฺวา ตสฺย สนฺนิธิมาคต: ฯ
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A large crowd, when they heard what great things he did, came to him.
9 ตทา โลกสมูหศฺเจตฺ ตโสฺยปริ ปตติ อิตฺยาศงฺกฺย ส นาวเมกำ นิกเฏ สฺถาปยิตุํ ศิษฺยานาทิษฺฏวานฺฯ
And he told his disciples that a small boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they would not press on him.
10 ยโต'เนกมนุษฺยาณามาโรคฺยกรณาทฺ วฺยาธิคฺรสฺตา: สรฺเวฺว ตํ สฺปฺรษฺฏุํ ปรสฺปรํ พเลน ยตฺนวนฺต: ฯ
For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.
11 อปรญฺจ อปวิตฺรภูตาสฺตํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา ตจฺจรณโย: ปติตฺวา โปฺรไจ: โปฺรจุ: , ตฺวมีศฺวรสฺย ปุตฺร: ฯ
And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and shouted, saying, "You are the Son of God."
12 กินฺตุ ส ตานฺ ทฺฤฒมฺ อาชฺญาปฺย สฺวํ ปริจายิตุํ นิษิทฺธวานฺฯ
And he sternly warned them that they should not make him known.
13 อนนฺตรํ ส ปรฺวฺวตมารุหฺย ยํ ยํ ปฺรติจฺฉา ตํ ตมาหูตวานฺ ตตเสฺต ตตฺสมีปมาคตา: ฯ
And he went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him.
14 ตทา ส ทฺวาทศชนานฺ เสฺวน สห สฺถาตุํ สุสํวาทปฺรจาราย เปฺรริตา ภวิตุํ
And he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach,
15 สรฺวฺวปฺรการวฺยาธีนำ ศมนกรณาย ปฺรภาวํ ปฺราปฺตุํ ภูตานฺ ตฺยาชยิตุญฺจ นิยุกฺตวานฺฯ
to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons.
16 เตษำ นามานีมานิ, ศิโมนฺ สิวทิปุโตฺร
And he appointed the twelve. And to Simon he gave the name Peter;
17 ยากูพฺ ตสฺย ภฺราตา โยหนฺ จ อานฺทฺริย: ผิลิโป พรฺถลมย: ,
and James the son of Zebedee; and John the brother of James (and he gave them the names Boanerges, which is to say, Sons of Thunder);
18 มถี โถมา จ อาลฺผียปุโตฺร ยากูพฺ ถทฺทีย: กินานีย: ศิโมนฺ ยสฺตํ ปรหเสฺตษฺวรฺปยิษฺยติ ส อีษฺกริโยตียยิหูทาศฺจฯ
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot;
19 ส ศิโมเน ปิตร อิตฺยุปนาม ทเทา ยากูโพฺยหนฺภฺยำ จ พิเนริคิศฺ อรฺถโต เมฆนาทปุตฺราวิตฺยุปนาม ทเทาฯ
and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
20 อนนฺตรํ เต นิเวศนํ คตา: , กินฺตุ ตตฺราปิ ปุนรฺมหานฺ ชนสมาคโม 'ภวตฺ ตสฺมาตฺเต โภกฺตุมปฺยวกาศํ น ปฺราปฺตา: ฯ
And he came into a house, and the crowd came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 ตตสฺตสฺย สุหฺฤโลฺลกา อิมำ วารฺตฺตำ ปฺราปฺย ส หตชฺญาโนภูทฺ อิติ กถำ กถยิตฺวา ตํ ธฺฤตฺวาเนตุํ คตา: ฯ
And when his family heard it, they went out to take charge of him: for they said, "He is out of his mind."
22 อปรญฺจ ยิรูศาลม อาคตา เย เย'ธฺยาปกาเสฺต ชคทุรยํ ปุรุโษ ภูตปตฺยาพิษฺฏเสฺตน ภูตปตินา ภูตานฺ ตฺยาชยติฯ
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebul," and, "By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons."
23 ตตสฺตานาหูย ยีศุ รฺทฺฤษฺฏานฺไต: กถำ กถิตวานฺ ไศตานฺ กถํ ไศตานํ ตฺยาชยิตุํ ศกฺโนติ?
And so he summoned them, and said to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 กิญฺจน ราชฺยํ ยทิ สฺววิโรเธน ปฺฤถคฺ ภวติ ตรฺหิ ตทฺ ราชฺยํ สฺถิรํ สฺถาตุํ น ศกฺโนติฯ
And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 ตถา กสฺยาปิ ปริวาโร ยทิ ปรสฺปรํ วิโรธี ภวติ ตรฺหิ โสปิ ปริวาร: สฺถิรํ สฺถาตุํ น ศกฺโนติฯ
And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
26 ตทฺวตฺ ไศตานฺ ยทิ สฺววิปกฺษตยา อุตฺติษฺฐนฺ ภินฺโน ภวติ ตรฺหิ โสปิ สฺถิรํ สฺถาตุํ น ศกฺโนติ กินฺตูจฺฉินฺโน ภวติฯ
And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he will not be able to stand, but has an end.
27 อปรญฺจ ปฺรพลํ ชนํ ปฺรถมํ น พทฺธา โกปิ ตสฺย คฺฤหํ ปฺรวิศฺย ทฺรวฺยาณิ ลุณฺฐยิตุํ น ศกฺโนติ, ตํ พทฺไวฺวว ตสฺย คฺฤหสฺย ทฺรวฺยาณิ ลุณฺฐยิตุํ ศกฺโนติฯ
But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
28 อโตเหโต รฺยุษฺมภฺยมหํ สตฺยํ กถยามิ มนุษฺยาณำ สนฺตานา ยานิ ยานิ ปาปานีศฺวรนินฺทาญฺจ กุรฺวฺวนฺติ เตษำ ตตฺสรฺเวฺวษามปราธานำ กฺษมา ภวิตุํ ศกฺโนติ,
Truly I tell you, all human sins will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;
30 ตสฺยาปวิตฺรภูโต'สฺติ เตษาเมตตฺกถาเหโต: ส อิตฺถํ กถิตวานฺฯ
because they said, "He has an unclean spirit."
31 อถ ตสฺย มาตา ภฺราตฺฤคณศฺจาคตฺย พหิสฺติษฺฐนโต โลกานฺ เปฺรษฺย ตมาหูตวนฺต: ฯ
And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
32 ตตสฺตตฺสนฺนิเธา สมุปวิษฺฏา โลกาสฺตํ พภาษิเร ปศฺย พหิสฺตว มาตา ภฺราตรศฺจ ตฺวามฺ อนฺวิจฺฉนฺติฯ
And a crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, "Look, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you."
33 ตทา ส ตานฺ ปฺรตฺยุวาจ มม มาตา กา ภฺราตโร วา เก? ตต: ปรํ ส สฺวมีโปปวิษฺฏานฺ ศิษฺยานฺ ปฺรติ อวโลกนํ กฺฤตฺวา กถยามาส
And he answered them, saying, "Who are my mother and my brothers?"
34 ปศฺยไตเต มม มาตา ภฺราตรศฺจฯ
And looking around at those who sat around him, he said, "Look, my mother and my brothers.
35 ย: กศฺจิทฺ อีศฺวรเสฺยษฺฏำ กฺริยำ กโรติ ส เอว มม ภฺราตา ภคินี มาตา จฯ
For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
