1 อนนฺตรํ ยีศุเรกทา คิเนษรถฺทสฺย ตีร อุตฺติษฺฐติ, ตทา โลกา อีศฺวรียกถำ โศฺรตุํ ตทุปริ ปฺรปติตา: ฯ
It came to passe as the people preased vpon him to heare the worde of God that he stoode by the lake of Genezareth:
2 ตทานีํ ส หฺทสฺย ตีรสมีเป เนาทฺวยํ ททรฺศ กิญฺจ มตฺโสฺยปชีวิโน นาวํ วิหาย ชาลํ ปฺรกฺษาลยนฺติฯ
and sawe two shippes stonde by the lake syde but the fisshermen were gone out of the and were wasshynge their nettes.
3 ตตสฺตโยรฺทฺวโย รฺมเธฺย ศิโมโน นาวมารุหฺย ตีราตฺ กิญฺจิทฺทูรํ ยาตุํ ตสฺมินฺ วินยํ กฺฤตฺวา เนากายามุปวิศฺย โลกานฺ โปฺรปทิษฺฏวานฺฯ
And he entred in to one of the shippes which perteyned to Simon and prayed him that he wolde thrust out a litell from the londe. And he sate doune and taught the people out of the ship.
4 ปศฺจาตฺ ตํ ปฺรสฺตาวํ สมาปฺย ส ศิโมนํ วฺยาชหาร, คภีรํ ชลํ คตฺวา มตฺสฺยานฺ ธรฺตฺตุํ ชาลํ นิกฺษิปฯ
When he had leeft speakynge he sayde vnto Simon: Launche out in to the depe and let slippe youre nettes to make a draught
5 ตต: ศิโมน พภาเษ, เห คุโร ยทฺยปิ วยํ กฺฤตฺสฺนำ ยามินีํ ปริศฺรมฺย มตฺไสฺยกมปิ น ปฺราปฺตาสฺตถาปิ ภวโต นิเทศโต ชาลํ กฺษิปาม: ฯ
And Simon answered and sayde to him: Master we have labored all nyght and have taken nothinge. Neverthelater at thy worde I will loose forthe the net.
6 อถ ชาเล กฺษิปฺเต พหุมตฺสฺยปตนาทฺ อานาย: ปฺรจฺฉินฺน: ฯ
And when they had so done they inclosed a greate multitude of fisshes. And their net brake:
7 ตสฺมาทฺ อุปกรฺตฺตุมฺ อนฺยเนาสฺถานฺ สงฺคิน อายาตุมฺ อิงฺคิเตน สมาหฺวยนฺ ตตสฺต อาคตฺย มตฺไสฺย เรฺนาทฺวยํ ปฺรปูรยามาสุ ไรฺย เรฺนาทฺวยํ ปฺรมคฺนมฺฯ
but they made signes to their felowes which were in the other ship that they shuld come and helpe the And they came: and filled bothe the shippes that they soncke agayne.
8 ตทา ศิโมนฺปิตรสฺตทฺ วิโลกฺย ยีโศศฺจรณโย: ปติตฺวา, เห ปฺรโภหํ ปาปี นโร มม นิกฏาทฺ ภวานฺ ยาตุ, อิติ กถิตวานฺฯ
When Simon Peter sawe that he fell doune at Iesus knees sayinge: Lorde goo
9 ยโต ชาเล ปติตานำ มตฺสฺยานำ ยูถาตฺ ศิโมนฺ ตตฺสงฺคินศฺจ จมตฺกฺฤตวนฺต: ; ศิโมน: สหการิเณา สิวเท: ปุเตฺรา ยากูพฺ โยหนฺ เจเมา ตาทฺฤเศา พภูวตุ: ฯ
fro me for I am a synfull man. For he was vtterly astonyed and all that were wt him at ye draught of fisshe which they toke:
10 ตทา ยีศุ: ศิโมนํ ชคาท มา ไภษีรทฺยารภฺย ตฺวํ มนุษฺยธโร ภวิษฺยสิฯ
and so was also Iames and Iohn ye sonnes of zebede which were parteners wt Simon. And Iesus sayde vnto Simon: feare not fro hence forthe thou shalt catche men.
11 อนนฺตรํ สรฺวฺวาสุ เนาสุ ตีรมฺ อานีตาสุ เต สรฺวฺวานฺ ปริตฺยชฺย ตสฺย ปศฺจาทฺคามิโน พภูวุ: ฯ
And they brought the shippes to londe and forsoke all and folowed him.
12 ตต: ปรํ ยีเศา กสฺมึศฺจิตฺ ปุเร ติษฺฐติ ชน เอก: สรฺวฺวางฺคกุษฺฐสฺตํ วิโลกฺย ตสฺย สมีเป นฺยุพฺช: ปติตฺวา สวินยํ วกฺตุมาเรเภ, เห ปฺรโภ ยทิ ภวานิจฺฉติ ตรฺหิ มำ ปริษฺกรฺตฺตุํ ศกฺโนติฯ
And it fortuned as he was in a certayne cite: beholde ther was a man full of leprosy: and when he had spied Iesus he fell on his face and besought him sayinge: Lorde yf thou wilt thou canst make me cleane.
13 ตทานีํ ส ปาณึ ปฺรสารฺยฺย ตทงฺคํ สฺปฺฤศนฺ พภาเษ ตฺวํ ปริษฺกฺริยเสฺวติ มเมจฺฉาสฺติ ตตสฺตตฺกฺษณํ ส กุษฺฐาตฺ มุกฺต: ฯ
And he strethed forth ye hond and touched him sayinge: I will be thou cleane. And immediatly the leprosy departed from him.
14 ปศฺจาตฺ ส ตมาชฺญาปยามาส กถามิมำ กไสฺมจิทฺ อกถยิตฺวา ยาชกสฺย สมีปญฺจ คตฺวา สฺวํ ทรฺศย, โลเกโภฺย นิชปริษฺกฺฤตตฺวสฺย ปฺรมาณทานาย มูสาชฺญานุสาเรณ ทฺรวฺยมุตฺมฺฤชสฺว จฯ
And he warned him that he shuld tell no man: but that he shuld goo and shewe him selfe to the Preste and offer for his clensynge accordinge as Moses commaundement was for a witnes vnto them.
15 ตถาปิ ยีโศ: สุขฺยาติ รฺพหุ วฺยาปฺตุมาเรเภ กิญฺจ ตสฺย กถำ โศฺรตุํ สฺวียโรเคโภฺย โมกฺตุญฺจ โลกา อาชคฺมุ: ฯ
But so moche the moare went ther a fame abroade of him and moche people cam to geder to heare and to be healed of him of their infirmities.
16 อถ ส ปฺรานฺตรํ คตฺวา ปฺรารฺถยาญฺจเกฺรฯ
And he kepte him silfe aparte in ye wildernesses and gave him silfe to prayer.
17 อปรญฺจ เอกทา ยีศุรุปทิศติ, เอตรฺหิ คาลีลฺยิหูทาปฺรเทศโย: สรฺวฺวนคเรโภฺย ยิรูศาลมศฺจ กิยนฺต: ผิรูศิโลกา วฺยวสฺถาปกาศฺจ สมาคตฺย ตทนฺติเก สมุปวิวิศุ: , ตสฺมินฺ กาเล โลกานามาโรคฺยการณาตฺ ปฺรโภ: ปฺรภาว: ปฺรจกาเศฯ
And it happened on a certayne daye that he taught: and ther sate the pharises: and docturs of lawe which were come out of all ye tounes of Galile Iurie and Hierusalem. And the power of the Lorde was to heale the.
18 ปศฺจาตฺ กิยนฺโต โลกา เอกํ ปกฺษาฆาตินํ ขฏฺวายำ นิธาย ยีโศ: สมีปมาเนตุํ สมฺมุเข สฺถาปยิตุญฺจ วฺยาปฺริยนฺตฯ
And beholde me brought a man lyinge in his beed which was taken with a palsie: and sought meanes to brynge him in and to laye him before him.
19 กินฺตุ พหุชนนิวหสมฺวาธาตฺ น ศกฺนุวนฺโต คฺฤโหปริ คตฺวา คฺฤหปฺฤษฺฐํ ขนิตฺวา ตํ ปกฺษาฆาตินํ สขฏฺวํ คฺฤหมเธฺย ยีโศ: สมฺมุเข 'วโรหยามาสุ: ฯ
And whe they coulde not finde by what waye they might bringe him in be cause of ye prease they wet vp on the toppe of ye housse and let him doune thorowe the tylinge beed and all in the middes before Iesus.
20 ตทา ยีศุเสฺตษามฺ อีทฺฤศํ วิศฺวาสํ วิโลกฺย ตํ ปกฺษาฆาตินํ วฺยาชหาร, เห มานว ตว ปาปมกฺษมฺยตฯ
When he sawe their fayth he sayde vnto him: man thy synnes are forgeven the.
21 ตสฺมาทฺ อธฺยาปกา: ผิรูศินศฺจ จิตฺไตริตฺถํ ปฺรจินฺติตวนฺต: , เอษ ชน อีศฺวรํ นินฺทติ โกยํ? เกวลมีศฺวรํ วินา ปาปํ กฺษนฺตุํ ก: ศกฺโนติ?
And the Scribes and the Parises begane to thinke sayinge: What felow is this which speaketh blasphemy? Who can forgeve synnes but God only?
22 ตทา ยีศุเสฺตษามฺ อิตฺถํ จินฺตนํ วิทิตฺวา เตโภฺยกถยทฺ ยูยํ มโนภิ: กุโต วิตรฺกยถ?
When Iesus perceaved their thoughtes he answered and sayde vnto them: What thinke ye in youre hertes?
23 ตว ปาปกฺษมา ชาตา ยทฺวา ตฺวมุตฺถาย วฺรช เอตโย รฺมเธฺย กา กถา สุกถฺยา?
Whether is easyar to saye thy synnes are forgeve the or to saye: rise and walke?
24 กินฺตุ ปฺฤถิวฺยำ ปาปํ กฺษนฺตุํ มานวสุตสฺย สามรฺถฺยมสฺตีติ ยถา ยูยํ ชฺญาตุํ ศกฺนุถ ตทรฺถํ (ส ตํ ปกฺษาฆาตินํ ชคาท) อุตฺติษฺฐ สฺวศยฺยำ คฺฤหีตฺวา คฺฤหํ ยาหีติ ตฺวามาทิศามิฯ
But that ye maye knowe that the sonne of ma hath power to forgeve synnes on erth he sayde vnto ye sicke of the palsie: I saye to the aryse take vp thy beed and go home to thy housse.
25 ตสฺมาตฺ ส ตตฺกฺษณมฺ อุตฺถาย สรฺเวฺวษำ สากฺษาตฺ นิชศยนียํ คฺฤหีตฺวา อีศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วทนฺ นิชนิเวศนํ ยเยาฯ
And immediatly he rose vp before them and toke vp his beed where on he laye and departed to his awne housse praysinge God.
26 ตสฺมาตฺ สรฺเวฺว วิสฺมย ปฺราปฺตา มน: สุ ภีตาศฺจ วยมทฺยาสมฺภวการฺยฺยาณฺยทรฺศาม อิตฺยุกฺตฺวา ปรเมศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ โปฺรทิตา: ฯ
And they were all amased and they lauded God and were filled with feare sayinge: We have sene straunge thynges to daye.
27 ตต: ปรํ พหิรฺคจฺฉนฺ กรสญฺจยสฺถาเน เลวินามานํ กรสญฺจายกํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา ยีศุสฺตมภิทเธ มม ปศฺจาเทหิฯ
And after that he went forthe and sawe a Publican named Levi sittinge at the receyte of custome and sayde vnto him: folow me.
28 ตสฺมาตฺ ส ตตฺกฺษณาตฺ สรฺวฺวํ ปริตฺยชฺย ตสฺย ปศฺจาทิยายฯ
And he leeft all roose vp and folowed him.
29 อนนฺตรํ เลวิ รฺนิชคฺฤเห ตทรฺถํ มหาโภชฺยํ จการ, ตทา ไต: สหาเนเก กรสญฺจายินสฺตทนฺยโลกาศฺจ โภกฺตุมุปวิวิศุ: ฯ
And that same Levi made him a greate feaste at home in his awne housse. And ther was a greate copany of publicans and of other that sate at meate with him.
30 ตสฺมาตฺ การณาตฺ จณฺฑาลานำ ปาปิโลกานาญฺจ สงฺเค ยูยํ กุโต ภํคฺเธฺว ปิวถ เจติ กถำ กถยิตฺวา ผิรูศิโน'ธฺยาปกาศฺจ ตสฺย ศิไษฺย: สห วาคฺยุทฺธํ กรฺตฺตุมาเรภิเรฯ
And the Scribes and Pharises murmured agaynst his disciples sayinge: Why eate ye and drinke ye with publicas and synners?
31 ตสฺมาทฺ ยีศุสฺตานฺ ปฺรตฺยโวจทฺ อโรคโลกานำ จิกิตฺสเกน ปฺรโยชนํ นาสฺติ กินฺตุ สโรคาณาเมวฯ
Iesus answered and sayde vnto the: They yt are whole nede not of ye phisicion: but they yt are sicke.
32 อหํ ธารฺมฺมิกานฺ อาหฺวาตุํ นาคโตสฺมิ กินฺตุ มน: ปราวรฺตฺตยิตุํ ปาปิน เอวฯ
I came not to call ye rightewes but synners to repentauce.
33 ตตเสฺต โปฺรจุ: , โยหน: ผิรูศินาญฺจ ศิษฺยา วารํวารมฺ อุปวสนฺติ ปฺรารฺถยนฺเต จ กินฺตุ ตว ศิษฺยา: กุโต ภุญฺชเต ปิวนฺติ จ?
Then they sayde vnto him: Why do the disciples of Iohn fast often and praye and the disciples of ye Pharises also: and thine eate and drinke?
34 ตทา ส ตานาจเขฺยา วเร สงฺเค ติษฺฐติ วรสฺย สขิคณํ กิมุปวาสยิตุํ ศกฺนุถ?
And he sayde vnto them: Can ye make ye chyldren of the weddinge fast as longe as ye brydgrome is present with the?
35 กินฺตุ ยทา เตษำ นิกฏาทฺ วโร เนษฺยเต ตทา เต สมุปวตฺสฺยนฺติฯ
The dayes will come whe the brydgrome shalbe take awaye from them: then shall they fast in those dayes
36 โสปรมปิ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺตํ กถยามฺพภูว ปุราตนวสฺเตฺร โกปิ นุตนวสฺตฺรํ น สีวฺยติ ยตเสฺตน เสวเนน ชีรฺณวสฺตฺรํ ฉิทฺยเต, นูตนปุราตนวสฺตฺรโย เรฺมลญฺจ น ภวติฯ
Then he spake vnto them in a similitude: No ma putteth a pece of a newe garment in to an olde vesture: for yf he do: then breaketh he the newe and the pece that was taken out of the newe agreeth not wt the olde.
37 ปุราตนฺยำ กุตฺวำ โกปิ นุตนํ ทฺรากฺษารสํ น นิทธาติ, ยโต นวีนทฺรากฺษารสสฺย เตชสา ปุราตนี กุตู รฺวิทีรฺยฺยเต ตโต ทฺรากฺษารส: ปตติ กุตูศฺจ นศฺยติฯ
Also no ma poureth newe wyne into olde vessels. For yf he do the newe wyne breaketh the vessels and runneth out it silfe and the vessels perisshe:
38 ตโต เหโต รฺนูตนฺยำ กุตฺวำ นวีนทฺรากฺษารส: นิธาตวฺยเสฺตโนภยสฺย รกฺษา ภวติฯ
But newe wyne must be poured into newe vessels and bothe are preserved.
39 อปรญฺจ ปุราตนํ ทฺรากฺษารสํ ปีตฺวา โกปิ นูตนํ น วาญฺฉติ, ยต: ส วกฺติ นูตนาตฺ ปุราตนมฺ ปฺรศสฺตมฺฯ
Also no man yt drinketh olde wine strayght waye can awaye with newe for he sayeth ye olde is plesauter.
