1 อถ ธนิโลกา ภาณฺฑาคาเร ธนํ นิกฺษิปนฺติ ส ตเทว ปศฺยติ,
And having looked up, He saw those who cast their gifts into the treasury—rich men,
2 เอตรฺหิ กาจิทฺทีนา วิธวา ปณทฺวยํ นิกฺษิปติ ตทฺ ททรฺศฯ
and He also saw a certain poor widow casting two mites there,
3 ตโต ยีศุรุวาจ ยุษฺมานหํ ยถารฺถํ วทามิ, ทริเทฺรยํ วิธวา สรฺเวฺวโภฺยธิกํ นฺยกฺเษปฺสีตฺ,
and He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow cast in more than all;
4 ยโตเนฺย สฺวปฺราชฺยธเนภฺย อีศฺวราย กิญฺจิตฺ นฺยกฺเษปฺสุ: , กินฺตุ ทริเทฺรยํ วิธวา ทินยาปนารฺถํ สฺวสฺย ยตฺ กิญฺจิตฺ สฺถิตํ ตตฺ สรฺวฺวํ นฺยกฺเษปฺสีตฺฯ
for all these out of their superabundance cast into the gifts to God, but this one out of her want, all the living that she had, cast in.”
5 อปรญฺจ อุตฺตมปฺรสฺตไรรุตฺสฺฤษฺฏไวฺยศฺจ มนฺทิรํ สุโศภเตตรำ ไกศฺจิทิตฺยุกฺเต ส ปฺรตฺยุวาจ
And [as] some were speaking about the temple, that it has been adorned with good stones and devoted things, He said,
6 ยูยํ ยทิทํ นิจยนํ ปศฺยถ, อสฺย ปาษาไณโกปฺยนฺยปาษาโณปริ น สฺถาสฺยติ, สรฺเวฺว ภูสาทฺภวิษฺยนฺติ กาโลยมายาติฯ
“These things that you behold—days will come in which there will not be left a stone on a stone that will not be thrown down.”
7 ตทา เต ปปฺรจฺฉุ: , เห คุโร ฆฏเนทฺฤศี กทา ภวิษฺยติ? ฆฏนายา เอตสฺยสศฺจิหฺนํ วา กึ ภวิษฺยติ?
And they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, when, then, will these things be? And what [is] the sign when these things may be about to happen?”
8 ตทา ส ชคาท, สาวธานา ภวต ยถา ยุษฺมากํ ภฺรมํ โกปิ น ชนยติ, ขีษฺโฏหมิตฺยุกฺตฺวา มม นามฺรา พหว อุปสฺถาสฺยนฺติ ส กาล: ปฺราเยโณปสฺถิต: , เตษำ ปศฺจานฺมา คจฺฉตฯ
And He said, “See—you may not be led astray, for many will come in My Name, saying, I am [He], and the time has come near; do not then go on after them;
9 ยุทฺธโสฺยปปฺลวสฺย จ วารฺตฺตำ ศฺรุตฺวา มา ศงฺกธฺวํ, ยต: ปฺรถมมฺ เอตา ฆฏนา อวศฺยํ ภวิษฺยนฺติ กินฺตุ นาปาเต ยุคานฺโต ภวิษฺยติฯ
and when you may hear of wars and uprisings, do not be terrified, for it is necessary for these things to happen first, but the end [is] not immediately.”
10 อปรญฺจ กถยามาส, ตทา เทศสฺย วิปกฺษเตฺวน เทโศ ราชฺยสฺย วิปกฺษเตฺวน ราชฺยมฺ อุตฺถาสฺยติ,
Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,
11 นานาสฺถาเนษุ มหาภูกมฺโป ทุรฺภิกฺษํ มารี จ ภวิษฺยนฺติ, ตถา โวฺยมมณฺฑลสฺย ภยงฺกรทรฺศนานฺยศฺจรฺยฺยลกฺษณานิ จ ปฺรกาศยิษฺยนฺเตฯ
also great shakings, and there will be famines and pestilences in every place; also there will be fearful things and great signs from the sky;
12 กินฺตุ สรฺวฺวาสาเมตาสำ ฆฏนานำ ปูรฺวฺวํ โลกา ยุษฺมานฺ ธฺฤตฺวา ตาฑยิษฺยนฺติ, ภชนาลเย การายาญฺจ สมรฺปยิษฺยนฺติ มม นามการณาทฺ ยุษฺมานฺ ภูปานำ ศาสกานาญฺจ สมฺมุขํ เนษฺยนฺติ จฯ
and before all these, they will lay on you their hands, and persecute, delivering up to synagogues and prisons, being brought before kings and governors for My Name’s sake;
13 สากฺษฺยารฺถมฺ เอตานิ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ ฆฏิษฺยนฺเตฯ
and it will become to you for a testimony.
14 ตทา กิมุตฺตรํ วกฺตวฺยมฺ เอตตฺ น จินฺตยิษฺยาม อิติ มน: สุ นิศฺจิตนุตฯ
Settle, then, to your hearts, not to meditate beforehand to reply,
15 วิปกฺษา ยสฺมาตฺ กิมปฺยุตฺตรมฺ อาปตฺติญฺจ กรฺตฺตุํ น ศกฺษฺยนฺติ ตาทฺฤศํ วากฺปฏุตฺวํ ชฺญานญฺจ ยุษฺมภฺยํ ทาสฺยามิฯ
for I will give to you a mouth and wisdom that all your opposers will not be able to refute or resist.
16 กิญฺจ ยูยํ ปิตฺรา มาตฺรา ภฺราตฺรา พนฺธุนา ชฺญาตฺยา กุฏุมฺเพน จ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิษฺยเธฺว; ตตเสฺต ยุษฺมากํ กญฺจน กญฺจน ฆาตยิษฺยนฺติฯ
And you will be delivered up also by parents, and brothers, and relatives, and friends, and they will put [some] of you to death;
17 มม นามฺน: การณาตฺ สรฺไวฺว รฺมนุไษฺย รฺยูยมฺ ฤตียิษฺยเธฺวฯ
and you will be hated by all because of My Name—
18 กินฺตุ ยุษฺมากํ ศิร: เกไศโกปิ น วินํกฺษฺยติ,
and a hair out of your head will not perish;
19 ตสฺมาเทว ไธรฺยฺยมวลมฺพฺย สฺวสฺวปฺราณานฺ รกฺษตฯ
in your patience possess your souls.
20 อปรญฺจ ยิรูศาลมฺปุรํ ไสนฺยเวษฺฏิตํ วิโลกฺย ตโสฺยจฺฉินฺนตายา: สมย: สมีป อิตฺยวคมิษฺยถฯ
And when you may see Jerusalem surrounded by encampments, then know that her desolation has come near;
21 ตทา ยิหูทาเทศสฺถา โลกา: ปรฺวฺวตํ ปลายนฺตำ, เย จ นคเร ติษฺฐนฺติ เต เทศานฺตรํ ปลายนฺตา, เย จ คฺราเม ติษฺฐนฺติ เต นครํ น ปฺรวิศนฺตุ,
then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains; and those in her midst, let them depart out; and those in the countries, do not let them come in to her;
22 ยตสฺตทา สมุจิตทณฺฑนาย ธรฺมฺมปุสฺตเก ยานิ สรฺวฺวาณิ ลิขิตานิ ตานิ สผลานิ ภวิษฺยนฺติฯ
because these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all things that have been written.
23 กินฺตุ ยา ยาสฺตทา ครฺภวตฺย: สฺตนฺยทาวฺยศฺจ ตามำ ทุรฺคติ รฺภวิษฺยติ, ยต เอตาโลฺลกานฺ ปฺรติ โกโป เทเศ จ วิษมทุรฺคติ รฺฆฏิษฺยเตฯ
And woe to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress on the land, and wrath on this people;
24 วสฺตุตสฺตุ เต ขงฺคธารปริวฺวงฺคํ ลปฺสฺยนฺเต พทฺธา: สนฺต: สรฺวฺวเทเศษุ นายิษฺยนฺเต จ กิญฺจานฺยเทศียานำ สมโยปสฺถิติปรฺยฺยนฺตํ ยิรูศาลมฺปุรํ ไต: ปทตไล รฺทลยิษฺยเตฯ
and they will fall by the mouth of the sword, and will be led captive to all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trodden down by nations, until the times of nations be fulfilled.
25 สูรฺยฺยจนฺทฺรนกฺษเตฺรษุ ลกฺษณาทิ ภวิษฺยนฺติ, ภุวิ สรฺวฺวเทศียานำ ทุ: ขํ จินฺตา จ สินฺเธา วีจีนำ ตรฺชนํ ครฺชนญฺจ ภวิษฺยนฺติฯ
And there will be signs in sun, and moon, and stars, and on the earth distress of nations with perplexity, sea and wave roaring;
26 ภูเภา ภาวิฆฏนำ จินฺตยิตฺวา มนุชา ภิยามฺฤตกลฺปา ภวิษฺยนฺติ, ยโต โวฺยมมณฺฑเล เตชสฺวิโน โทลายมานา ภวิษฺยนฺติฯ
men fainting at heart from fear, and expectation of the things coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 ตทา ปรากฺรเมณา มหาเตชสา จ เมฆารูฒํ มนุษฺยปุตฺรมฺ อายานฺตํ ทฺรกฺษฺยนฺติฯ
And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud, with power and much glory;
28 กินฺเตฺวตาสำ ฆฏนานามารมฺเภ สติ ยูยํ มสฺตกานฺยุตฺโตลฺย อูรฺทธฺวํ ทฺรกฺษฺยถ, ยโต ยุษฺมากํ มุกฺเต: กาล: สวิโธ ภวิษฺยติฯ
and these things beginning to happen, bend yourselves back, and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
29 ตตเสฺตไนตทฺฤษฺฏานฺตกถา กถิตา, ปศฺยต อุฑุมฺพราทิวฺฤกฺษาณำ
And He spoke an allegory to them: “See the fig tree, and all the trees,
30 นวีนปตฺราณิ ชาตานีติ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา นิทาวกาล อุปสฺถิต อิติ ยถา ยูยํ ชฺญาตุํ ศกฺนุถ,
when they may now cast forth, having seen, of yourselves you know that now the summer is near;
31 ตถา สรฺวฺวาสามาสำ ฆฏนานามฺ อารมฺเภ ทฺฤษฺเฏ สตีศฺวรสฺย ราชตฺวํ นิกฏมฺ อิตฺยปิ ชฺญาสฺยถฯ
so also you, when you may see these things happening, you know that the Kingdom of God is near;
32 ยุษฺมานหํ ยถารฺถํ วทามิ, วิทฺยมานโลกานาเมษำ คมนาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวมฺ เอตานิ ฆฏิษฺยนฺเตฯ
truly I say to you, this generation may not pass away until all may have come to pass;
33 นโภภุโวโรฺลโป ภวิษฺยติ มม วากฺ ตุ กทาปิ ลุปฺตา น ภวิษฺยติฯ
the sky and the earth will pass away, but My words may not pass away.
34 อเตอว วิษมาศเนน ปาเนน จ สำมาริกจินฺตาภิศฺจ ยุษฺมากํ จิตฺเตษุ มตฺเตษุ ตทฺทินมฺ อกสฺมาทฺ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ ยถา โนปติษฺฐติ ตทรฺถํ เสฺวษุ สาวธานาสฺติษฺฐตฯ
And take heed to yourselves lest your hearts may be weighed down with carousing, and drunkenness, and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day may come on you,
35 ปฺฤถิวีสฺถสรฺวฺวโลกานฺ ปฺรติ ตทฺทินมฺ อุนฺมาถ อิว อุปสฺถาสฺยติฯ
for it will come as a snare on all those dwelling on the face of all the earth,
36 ยถา ยูยมฺ เอตทฺภาวิฆฏนา อุตฺตรฺตฺตุํ มนุชสุตสฺย สมฺมุเข สํสฺถาตุญฺจ โยคฺยา ภวถ การณาทสฺมาตฺ สาวธานา: สนฺโต นิรนฺตรํ ปฺรารฺถยธฺวํฯ
watch, then, in every season, praying that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 อปรญฺจ ส ทิวา มนฺทิร อุปทิศฺย ราไจ ไชตุนาทฺรึ คตฺวาติษฺฐตฺฯ
And He was teaching in the temple during the days, and during the nights, going forth, He was lodging at [that] called the Mount of Olives;
38 ตต: ปฺรตฺยูเษ ลากาสฺตตฺกถำ โศฺรตุํ มนฺทิเร ตทนฺติกมฺ อาคจฺฉนฺฯ
and all the people were coming early to Him in the temple to hear Him.
