1 มโนทุ: ขิโน มา ภูต; อีศฺวเร วิศฺวสิต มยิ จ วิศฺวสิตฯ
Let not your heart be troubled: Believe on God, and, on me, believe.
2 มม ปิตุ คฺฤเห พหูนิ วาสสฺถานิ สนฺติ โน เจตฺ ปูรฺวฺวํ ยุษฺมานฺ อชฺญาปยิษฺยํ ยุษฺมทรฺถํ สฺถานํ สชฺชยิตุํ คจฺฉามิฯ
In the house of my Father, are, many dwellings; or else I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you.
3 ยทิ คตฺวาหํ ยุษฺมนฺนิมิตฺตํ สฺถานํ สชฺชยามิ ตรฺหิ ปนราคตฺย ยุษฺมานฺ สฺวสมีปํ เนษฺยามิ, ตโต ยตฺราหํ ติษฺฐามิ ตตฺร ยูยมปิ สฺถาสฺยถฯ
And, if I go, and prepare a place for you, again, am I coming, and will take you home unto—myself, that, where, I, am, ye also, may be.
4 อหํ ยตฺสฺถานํ พฺรชามิ ตตฺสฺถานํ ยูยํ ชานีถ ตสฺย ปนฺถานมปิ ชานีถฯ
And, whither, I, go, ye know, the way.
5 ตทา โถมา อวทตฺ, เห ปฺรโภ ภวานฺ กุตฺร ยาติ ตทฺวยํ น ชานีม: , ตรฺหิ กถํ ปนฺถานํ ชฺญาตุํ ศกฺนุม: ?
Thomas saith unto him—Lord! we know not whither thou goest: How know we, the way?
6 ยีศุรกถยทฺ อหเมว สตฺยชีวนรูปปโถ มยา น คนฺตา โกปิ ปิตุ: สมีปํ คนฺตุํ น ศกฺโนติฯ
Jesus saith unto him—I, am the way, and the truth, and the life: No one, cometh unto the Father, but through me.
7 ยทิ มามฺ อชฺญาสฺยต ตรฺหิ มม ปิตรมปฺยชฺญาสฺยต กินฺตฺวธุนาตสฺตํ ชานีถ ปศฺยถ จฯ
If ye had been getting to know me, my Father also, had ye known: from henceforth, are ye getting to know him, and have seen him.
8 ตทา ผิลิป: กถิตวานฺ, เห ปฺรโภ ปิตรํ ทรฺศย ตสฺมาทสฺมากํ ยเถษฺฏํ ภวิษฺยติฯ
Philip saith unto him—Lord! show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 ตโต ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยาวาทีตฺ, เห ผิลิป ยุษฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธมฺ เอตาวทฺทินานิ สฺถิตมปิ มำ กึ น ปฺรตฺยภิชานาสิ? โย ชโน มามฺ อปศฺยตฺ ส ปิตรมปฺยปศฺยตฺ ตรฺหิ ปิตรมฺ อสฺมานฺ ทรฺศเยติ กถำ กถํ กถยสิ?
Jesus saith unto him—So long a time as this, have I been, with you, —and thou hast not come to know me, Philip? He that hath seen me, hath seen the Father. How art, thou, saying, Show us the Father?
10 อหํ ปิตริ ติษฺฐามิ ปิตา มยิ ติษฺฐตีติ กึ ตฺวํ น ปฺรตฺยษิ? อหํ ยทฺวากฺยํ วทามิ ตตฺ สฺวโต น วทามิ กินฺตุ ย: ปิตา มยิ วิราชเต ส เอว สรฺวฺวกรฺมฺมาณิ กราติฯ
Believest thou not, that, I, am in the Father, and, the Father, is, in me? The things which I am saying unto you, from myself, I speak not; but, the Father, within me abiding, doeth his works.
11 อเตอว ปิตรฺยฺยหํ ติษฺฐามิ ปิตา จ มยิ ติษฺฐติ มมาสฺยำ กถายำ ปฺรตฺยยํ กุรุต, โน เจตฺ กรฺมฺมเหโต: ปฺรตฺยยํ กุรุตฯ
Believe me, That, I, am in the Father, and, the Father, in me; —or else, on account of the works themselves, believe ye.
12 อหํ ยุษฺมานติยถารฺถํ วทามิ, โย ชโน มยิ วิศฺวสิติ โสหมิว กรฺมฺมาณิ กริษฺยติ วรํ ตโตปิ มหากรฺมฺมาณิ กริษฺยติ ยโต เหโตรหํ ปิตุ: สมีปํ คจฺฉามิฯ
Verily, verily, I say unto you—He that believeth on me, the works which, I, am doing, he also, shall do; and, greater than these, shall he do, because, I, unto the Father, am going, —
13 ยถา ปุเตฺรณ ปิตุ รฺมหิมา ปฺรกาศเต ตทรฺถํ มม นาม โปฺรจฺย ยตฺ ปฺรารฺถยิษฺยเธฺว ตตฺ สผลํ กริษฺยามิฯ
And because, whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, the same, will I do, that, the Father, may be glorified, in the Son:
14 ยทิ มม นามฺนา ยตฺ กิญฺจิทฺ ยาจเธฺว ตรฺหิ ตทหํ สาธยิษฺยามิฯ
If anything ye shall ask [me] in my name, the same, will I do.
15 ยทิ มยิ ปฺรียเธฺว ตรฺหิ มมาชฺญา: สมาจรตฯ
If ye be loving me, my commandments, ye will keep;
16 ตโต มยา ปิตุ: สมีเป ปฺรารฺถิเต ปิตา นิรนฺตรํ ยุษฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธํ สฺถาตุมฺ อิตรเมกํ สหายมฺ อรฺถาตฺ สตฺยมยมฺ อาตฺมานํ ยุษฺมากํ นิกฏํ เปฺรษยิษฺยติฯ (aiōn g165)
And, I, will request the Father, and, Another Advocate, will he give unto you, that he may be with you age-abidingly, (aiōn g165)
17 เอตชฺชคโต โลกาสฺตํ คฺรหีตุํ น ศกฺนุวนฺติ ยตเสฺต ตํ นาปศฺยนฺ นาชนํศฺจ กินฺตุ ยูยํ ชานีถ ยโต เหโต: ส ยุษฺมากมนฺต รฺนิวสติ ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย สฺถาสฺยติ จฯ
The Spirit of truth, —which, the world, cannot receive, because it beholdeth it not, nor getteth to know it. But, ye, are getting to know it; because, with you, it abideth, and, in you, it is.
18 อหํ ยุษฺมานฺ อนาถานฺ กฺฤตฺวา น ยาสฺยามิ ปุนรปิ ยุษฺมากํ สมีปมฺ อาคมิษฺยามิฯ
I will not leave you bereft, —I am coming unto you.
19 กิยตฺกาลรตฺ ปรมฺ อสฺย ชคโต โลกา มำ ปุน รฺน ทฺรกฺษฺยนฺติ กินฺตุ ยูยํ ทฺรกฺษฺยถ; อหํ ชีวิษฺยามิ ตสฺมาตฺ การณาทฺ ยูยมปิ ชีวิษฺยถฯ
Yet a little, and, the world, no longer beholdeth me; but, ye, behold me, —Because, I, live, ye also, shall live.
20 ปิตรฺยฺยหมสฺมิ มยิ จ ยูยํ สฺถ, ตถาหํ ยุษฺมาสฺวสฺมิ ตทปิ ตทา ชฺญาสฺยถฯ
In that day, shall ye get to know, That, I, am in my Father, and, ye, in me, and, I, in you.
21 โย ชโน มมาชฺญา คฺฤหีตฺวา ตา อาจรติ เสอว มยิ ปฺรียเต; โย ชนศฺจ มยิ ปฺรียเต เสอว มม ปิตุ: ปฺริยปาตฺรํ ภวิษฺยติ, ตถาหมปิ ตสฺมินฺ ปฺรีตฺวา ตไสฺม สฺวํ ปฺรกาศยิษฺยามิฯ
He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he, it is that loveth me; and, he that loveth me, shall be loved by my Father, and, I, will love him, and will manifest, myself, unto him.
22 ตทา อีษฺกริโยตียาทฺ อโนฺย ยิหูทาสฺตมวทตฺ, เห ปฺรโภ ภวานฺ ชคโต โลกานำ สนฺนิเธา ปฺรกาศิโต น ภูตฺวาสฺมากํ สนฺนิเธา กุต: ปฺรกาศิโต ภวิษฺยติ?
Judas, not the Iscariot, saith unto him—Lord! what hath happened, that, unto us, thou art about to manifest thyself, and, not unto the world?
23 ตโต ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยุทิตวานฺ, โย ชโน มยิ ปฺรียเต ส มมาชฺญา อปิ คฺฤหฺลาติ, เตน มม ปิตาปิ ตสฺมินฺ เปฺรษฺยเต, อาวาญฺจ ตนฺนิกฏมาคตฺย เตน สห นิวตฺสฺยาว: ฯ
Jesus answered, and said unto him—If any man be loving me, my word, he will keep, and, my Father, will love him, —and, unto him, will we come, and, an abode with him, will we make.
24 โย ชโน มยิ น ปฺรียเต ส มม กถา อปิ น คฺฤหฺลาติ ปุนศฺจ ยามิมำ กถำ ยูยํ ศฺฤณุถ สา กถา เกวลสฺย มม น กินฺตุ มม เปฺรรโก ย: ปิตา ตสฺยาปิ กถาฯ
He that loveth me not, doth not keep, my word; —and, the word which ye hear, is not mine, but, the Father’s who sent me.
25 อิทานีํ ยุษฺมากํ นิกเฏ วิทฺยมาโนหมฺ เอตา: สกลา: กถา: กถยามิฯ
These things, have I spoken unto you, With you abiding;
26 กินฺตฺวิต: ปรํ ปิตฺรา ย: สหาโย'รฺถาตฺ ปวิตฺร อาตฺมา มม นามฺนิ เปฺรรยิษฺยติ ส สรฺวฺวํ ศิกฺษยิตฺวา มโยกฺตา: สมสฺตา: กถา ยุษฺมานฺ สฺมารยิษฺยติฯ
But, the Advocate, The Holy Spirit, which the Father will send in my name, He, will teach you all things, and will put you in mind, of all things which, I, told you.
27 อหํ ยุษฺมากํ นิกเฏ ศานฺตึ สฺถาปยิตฺวา ยามิ, นิชำ ศานฺตึ ยุษฺมภฺยํ ททามิ, ชคโต โลกา ยถา ททาติ ตถาหํ น ททามิ; ยุษฺมากมฺ อนฺต: กรณานิ ทุ: ขิตานิ ภีตานิ จ น ภวนฺตุฯ
Peace, I leave with you, My own peace, give, I, unto you, —Not as, the world, giveth, give, I, unto you: —Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 อหํ คตฺวา ปุนรปิ ยุษฺมากํ สมีปมฺ อาคมิษฺยามิ มโยกฺตํ วากฺยมิทํ ยูยมฺ อเศฺราษฺฏ; ยทิ มยฺยเปฺรษฺยธฺวํ ตรฺหฺยหํ ปิตุ: สมีปํ คจฺฉามิ มมาสฺยำ กถายำ ยูยมฺ อหฺลาทิษฺยธฺวํ ยโต มม ปิตา มตฺโตปิ มหานฺฯ
Ye heard that, I, said unto you—I go my way, and I come unto you, —Had ye loved me, ye would have rejoiced, that I am going unto the Father, for, the Father, is, greater than I.
29 ตสฺยา ฆฏนายา: สมเย ยถา ยุษฺมากํ ศฺรทฺธา ชายเต ตทรฺถมฺ อหํ ตสฺยา ฆฏนายา: ปูรฺวฺวมฺ อิทานีํ ยุษฺมานฺ เอตำ วารฺตฺตำ วทามิฯ
But, now, have I told you, before it cometh to pass, that, whensoever it shall come to pass, ye may believe.
30 อิต: ปรํ ยุษฺมาภิ: สห มม พหว อาลาปา น ภวิษฺยนฺติ ยต: การณาทฺ เอตสฺย ชคต: ปติราคจฺฉติ กินฺตุ มยา สห ตสฺย โกปิ สมฺพนฺโธ นาสฺติฯ
No longer, many things, will I speak with you; for, the world’s ruler, is coming, and, in me, hath, nothing, —
31 อหํ ปิตริ เปฺรม กโรมิ ตถา ปิตุ รฺวิธิวตฺ กรฺมฺมาณิ กโรมีติ เยน ชคโต โลกา ชานนฺติ ตทรฺถมฺ อุตฺติษฺฐต วยํ สฺถานาทสฺมาทฺ คจฺฉามฯ
But, that the world may get to know that I love the Father, and just as the Father hath given me commandment, so, I do. Be rousing yourselves! let us be leading on from hence.
