1 เห นิรฺพฺโพธา คาลาติโลกา: , ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย กฺรุเศ หต อิว ยีศุ: ขฺรีษฺโฏ ยุษฺมากํ สมกฺษํ ปฺรกาศิต อาสีตฺ อโต ยูยํ ยถา สตฺยํ วากฺยํ น คฺฤหฺลีถ ตถา เกนามุหฺยต?

Foolish Galatians, who has cunningly deceived you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth as crucified?

2 อหํ ยุษฺมตฺต: กถาเมกำ ชิชฺญาเส ยูยมฺ อาตฺมานํ เกนาลภธฺวํ? วฺยวสฺถาปาลเนน กึ วา วิศฺวาสวากฺยสฺย ศฺรวเณน?

I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

3 ยูยํ กิมฺ อีทฺฤคฺ อโพธา ยทฺ อาตฺมนา กรฺมฺมารภฺย ศรีเรณ ตตฺ สาธยิตุํ ยตเธฺว?

Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?

4 ตรฺหิ ยุษฺมากํ คุรุตโร ทุ: ขโภค: กึ นิษฺผโล ภวิษฺยติ? กุผลยุกฺโต วา กึ ภวิษฺยติ?

Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain?

5 โย ยุษฺมภฺยมฺ อาตฺมานํ ทตฺตวานฺ ยุษฺมนฺมธฺย อาศฺจรฺยฺยาณิ กรฺมฺมาณิ จ สาธิตวานฺ ส กึ วฺยวสฺถาปาลเนน วิศฺวาสวากฺยสฺย ศฺรวเณน วา ตตฺ กฺฤตวานฺ?

He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

6 ลิขิตมาเสฺต, อิพฺราหีม อีศฺวเร วฺยศฺวสีตฺ ส จ วิศฺวาสสฺตไสฺม ปุณฺยารฺถํ คณิโต พภูว,

Even as Abraham "believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

7 อโต เย วิศฺวาสาศฺริตาสฺต เอเวพฺราหีม: สนฺตานา อิติ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺชฺญายตำฯ

Know therefore that those who are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham.

8 อีศฺวโร ภินฺนชาตียานฺ วิศฺวาเสน สปุณฺยีกริษฺยตีติ ปูรฺวฺวํ ชฺญาตฺวา ศาสฺตฺรทาตา ปูรฺวฺวมฺ อิพฺราหีมํ สุสํวาทํ ศฺราวยน ชคาท, ตฺวตฺโต ภินฺนชาตียา: สรฺวฺว อาศิษํ ปฺราปฺสฺยนฺตีติฯ

The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the non-Jews by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, "Through you all the nations will be blessed."

9 อโต เย วิศฺวาสาศฺริตาเสฺต วิศฺวาสิเนพฺราหีมา สารฺทฺธมฺ อาศิษํ ลภนฺเตฯ

So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

10 ยาวนฺโต โลกา วฺยวสฺถายา: กรฺมฺมณฺยาศฺรยนฺติ เต สรฺเวฺว ศาปาธีนา ภวนฺติ ยโต ลิขิตมาเสฺต, ยถา, "ย: กศฺจิทฺ เอตสฺย วฺยวสฺถาคฺรนฺถสฺย สรฺวฺววากฺยานิ นิศฺจิทฺรํ น ปาลยติ ส ศปฺต อิติฯ "

For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them."

11 อีศฺวรสฺย สากฺษาตฺ โก'ปิ วฺยวสฺถยา สปุโณฺย น ภวติ ตท วฺยกฺตํ ยต: "ปุณฺยวานฺ มานโว วิศฺวาเสน ชีวิษฺยตีติ" ศาสฺตฺรียํ วจ: ฯ

Now it is evident that no one is justified by the law before God, for, "The righteous will live by faith."

12 วฺยวสฺถา ตุ วิศฺวาสสมฺพนฺธินี น ภวติ กินฺเตฺวตานิ ย: ปาลยิษฺยติ ส เอว ไต รฺชีวิษฺยตีตินิยมสมฺพนฺธินีฯ

The law is not of faith, but, "The one who does them will live by them."

13 ขฺรีษฺโฏ'สฺมานฺ ปริกฺรีย วฺยวสฺถายา: ศาปาตฺ โมจิตวานฺ ยโต'สฺมากํ วินิมเยน ส สฺวยํ ศาปาสฺปทมภวตฺ ตทธิ ลิขิตมาเสฺต, ยถา, "ย: กศฺจิตฺ ตราวุลฺลมฺพฺยเต โส'ภิศปฺต อิติฯ "

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"

14 ตสฺมาทฺ ขฺรีษฺเฏน ยีศุเนวฺราหีม อาศี รฺภินฺนชาตียโลเกษุ วรฺตฺตเต เตน วยํ ปฺรติชฺญาตมฺ อาตฺมานํ วิศฺวาเสน ลพฺธุํ ศกฺนุม: ฯ

that the blessing of Abraham might come on the non-Jews through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15 เห ภฺราตฺฤคณ มานุษาณำ รีตฺยนุสาเรณาหํ กถยามิ เกนจิตฺ มานเวน โย นิยโม นิรจายิ ตสฺย วิกฺฤติ รฺวฺฤทฺธิ รฺวา เกนาปิ น กฺริยเตฯ

Brothers, I am speaking in human terms. Though it is only a human covenant, once it has been ratified, no one annuls it or adds to it.

16 ปรนฺตฺวิพฺราหีเม ตสฺย สนฺตานาย จ ปฺรติชฺญา: ปฺรติ ศุศฺรุวิเร ตตฺร สนฺตานศพฺทํ พหุวจนานฺตมฺ อภูตฺวา ตว สนฺตานาเยเตฺยกวจนานฺตํ พภูว ส จ สนฺตาน: ขฺรีษฺฏ เอวฯ

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He does not say, "And to offsprings," as of many, but as of one, "And to your offspring," which is Christ.

17 อเตอวาหํ วทามิ, อีศฺวเรณ โย นิยม: ปุรา ขฺรีษฺฏมธิ นิรจายิ ตต: ปรํ ตฺรึศทธิกจตุ: ศตวตฺสเรษุ คเตษุ สฺถาปิตา วฺยวสฺถา ตํ นิยมํ นิรรฺถกีกฺฤตฺย ตทียปฺรติชฺญา โลปฺตุํ น ศกฺโนติฯ

Now I say this: the law, which came four hundred thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to cancel the promise.

18 ยสฺมาตฺ สมฺปทธิกาโร ยทิ วฺยวสฺถยา ภวติ ตรฺหิ ปฺรติชฺญยา น ภวติ กินฺตฺวีศฺวร: ปฺรติชฺญยา ตทธิการิตฺวมฺ อิพฺราหีเม 'ททาตฺฯ

For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.

19 ตรฺหิ วฺยวสฺถา กิมฺภูตา? ปฺรติชฺญา ยไสฺม ปฺรติศฺรุตา ตสฺย สนฺตานสฺยาคมนํ ยาวทฺ วฺยภิจารนิวารณารฺถํ วฺยวสฺถาปิ ทตฺตา, สา จ ทูไตราชฺญาปิตา มธฺยสฺถสฺย กเร สมรฺปิตา จฯ

What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

20 ไนกสฺย มธฺยโสฺถ วิทฺยเต กินฺตฺวีศฺวร เอก เอวฯ

Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.

21 ตรฺหิ วฺยวสฺถา กิมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรติชฺญานำ วิรุทฺธา? ตนฺน ภวตุฯ ยสฺมาทฺ ยทิ สา วฺยวสฺถา ชีวนทาเนสมรฺถาภวิษฺยตฺ ตรฺหิ วฺยวสฺถไยว ปุณฺยลาโภ'ภวิษฺยตฺฯ

Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not. For if there had been a law given which could give life, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.

22 กินฺตุ ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏ โย วิศฺวาสสฺตตฺสมฺพนฺธิยา: ปฺรติชฺญายา: ผลํ ยทฺ วิศฺวาสิโลเกโภฺย ทียเต ตทรฺถํ ศาสฺตฺรทาตา สรฺวฺวานฺ ปาปาธีนานฺ คณยติฯ

But the Scriptures imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

23 อเตอว วิศฺวาสสฺยานาคตสมเย วยํ วฺยวสฺถาธีนา: สนฺโต วิศฺวาสโสฺยทยํ ยาวทฺ รุทฺธา อิวารกฺษฺยามเหฯ

But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24 อิตฺถํ วยํ ยทฺ วิศฺวาเสน สปุณฺยีภวามสฺตทรฺถํ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย สมีปมฺ อสฺมานฺ เนตุํ วฺยวสฺถาคฺรโถ'สฺมากํ วิเนตา พภูวฯ

So that the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

25 กินฺตฺวธุนาคเต วิศฺวาเส วยํ ตสฺย วิเนตุรนธีนา อภวามฯ

But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

26 ขฺรีษฺเฏ ยีเศา วิศฺวสนาตฺ สรฺเวฺว ยูยมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย สนฺตานา ชาตา: ฯ

For you are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.

27 ยูยํ ยาวนฺโต โลกา: ขฺรีษฺเฏ มชฺชิตา อภวต สรฺเวฺว ขฺรีษฺฏํ ปริหิตวนฺต: ฯ

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

28 อโต ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย ยิหูทิยูนานิโน รฺทาสสฺวตนฺตฺรโย โรฺยษาปุรุษโยศฺจ โก'ปิ วิเศโษ นาสฺติ; สรฺเวฺว ยูยํ ขฺรีษฺเฏ ยีศาเวก เอวฯ

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 กิญฺจ ยูยํ ยทิ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ภวถ ตรฺหิ สุตรามฺ อิพฺราหีม: สนฺตานา: ปฺรติชฺญยา สมฺปทธิการิณศฺจาเธฺวฯ

If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring and heirs according to promise.
